  1. Jake The Snake Roberts moves in with DDP to train for one last run

It's not that simple though. Jake may want nothing more than to stay clean, but he's battling something that has controlled his life for probably his entire adult years.
  2. Name that Movie Screencap Game

If someone wants to go in my place, feel free to. I'm not actually home these last two weeks, so I don't have access to my horror collection to take a screenshot.
  3. Name that Movie Screencap Game

  4. Booty's Box of Oldschool Wrestling Stuff

Terry Taylor was so terrific in 1993 that he lasted a whole 11 months before being fired (Again) and most fans don't even remember Taylor's second run with the company.
  5. Magnum T.A. vs Tully Blanchard I Quit Match

It's pretty much the best cage match in history. Both guys were so good and it's a shame they don't get more praise. I'd be curious to see what sort of edits the WWE did to the match. I have a hard time believing they didn't get their grubby little hands all over it.
  6. Wrestling Pet Peeves

Of course it'd help you get signed by the WWE. Getting noticed by the fans is step one in creating a hype around you that will eventually get back to someone behind the scenes in the WWE. Of course, you're going to need to be able to do more than just hit one sweet looking spot, but that hype...
  7. Which former PPV would you like to see come back?

Yeah, he was so important that he couldn't get booked on Summerslam. Austin could have came up with that tagline at any point. Just because it happened at the King of the Ring doesn't mean the PPV can take credit for it. Let's look at what KOTR did for it's winners: - 1993 - Bret was already a...
  8. Which former PPV would you like to see come back?

Stone Cold became a star because of working with Bret Hart and later Mike Tyson. The KOTR didn't do shit for him. Don't buy into the WWE hype. And the awesome Shane/Angle match was a non-tournament match, one that could happen on any PPV. Really, besides Bret's matches in 1993, every KOTR...
  9. Which former PPV would you like to see come back?

Every time I see someone on any message board support the idea of bringing the King of the Ring back as a PPV, I feel like smashing my face against a brick wall. Between it's worst of the year buyrates and it's worst of the year PPV matches, ditching the PPV was one of the best moves the WWE...
  10. AIW: JT Lightning Invitational Tournament

"24-person 'TPI-Style' Tournament" So...a regular tournament? That's such a random thing to include on your poster.
  11. Opinions on Wrestling Shoots.

Well, those references (And plenty of Pat's boys) are fairly common in shoots. But hearing someone say bad things about Patterson? That's about as rare as someone saying something positive about Johnny Ace.
  12. Opinions on Wrestling Shoots.

I believe he said he thought it was going to kill his career. I can't say that's too off the wall of a thought though. What did surprise me was how often Brutus threw Pat Patterson under the bus. I've never seen a shoot where someone said so many bad things about Patterson.
  13. Opinions on Wrestling Shoots.

Ah, that was BS too? The fact that I haven't heard any news about Butch since 1996 made it seem plausible. Luke at least had worked a little ROH a few years back.
  14. Opinions on Wrestling Shoots.

The most memorable one was his wacky story on how he was scheduled to win the IC Title from Warrior on a house show before he was pulled out of the match. In reality, the original match was Rick Rude vs Brutus Beefcake, Warrior was Beefcake's sub.
  15. Which former PPV would you like to see come back?

If the all elimination matches ever returned to Survivor Series, I'd love to see the return of the Grand Finale. It could be a hell of a way to push someone new.
  16. Where do you rate Goldberg?

But when Goldberg was getting hot, Nitro was still beating Raw. In fact, when Goldberg won the US Title, Raw had only finally bounced back and had defeated Nitro for a couple of weeks prior to Goldberg's win. WCW's last ditch effort would have been in late 1999 or 2000.
  17. Where do you rate Goldberg?

As far as guys who had a short career, Goldberg was really over. In a lot of ways, he's the 90's version of 80's Ultimate Warrior, only with less great matches. I do feel as if Goldberg wouldn't have this sort of reputation had wrestling not already been in a big boom. Take now for insistence...
  18. Opinions on Wrestling Shoots.

The spot wasn't for some random guy though, it was for a Knight. Granted, it ended up being beyond stupid because Jerry Lawler was caught trying to have speed-a-date at a high school. Still, it wouldn't have made sense to had The Hammer to the match. They needed a faceless Knight as that's what...
  19. Opinions on Wrestling Shoots.

Yes, they needed someone for a random one night deal so they called Valentine. Valentine, who had spent a year in WCW, was a champion there, was now free. So, he came in, worked the PPV and that's it. It's not like the Blue Knight was a reoccurring character or anything, so it's not a sign of...
  20. Horror Movie Discussion

They ruined Jigsaw for me. He's a villain, I don't want him too likable. They already gave a backstory for why he's doing all this in Saw 1. The guy went through a near death experience with cancer and when he survived, he saw so many people taking for granted what he, for a time, didn't have...
