Bandido announced against Psycho Clown. Looks like he's done with CMLL, but then again he might cancel to keep in CMLL's good graces, wouldn't be the first time.
He didn't sit it out, he was released. He also wasn't inactive for 10 months. He was used regularly throughout 1995, eft in November 1995, and was wrestling in Japan and on the indies as early as February 96.
I think some input is taken into account. So if a wrestler or wrestlers ask to work with someone, that generally means someone is good and the higher ups will get that, and likewise if it's the other way around. As far as whether you can flat out refuse, it probably depends on tenure, stature...
AEW and Omega Impact on does absolutely nothing. Impact's network isn't made for what they want. They're getting like 100,000 viewers/show compared to AEW getting nearly a million, WWE getting about a million.
Kinda interesting to think about it that these guys who had so many matches on the indies are now going to be wrestling at WrestleMania. Great story if WWE chose to build it that way, but still cool to see nonetheless.
