This is a bit misleading of a headline. It's not a spinoff show. It's a novel called a novel named Stranger Things: One Way or Another that will release on December 5th as in a few days from now. Below is what I found from "superherohype.com"
The novel is written by TV writer and author Caitlin Schneiderhan. Published by Random House Worlds, the novel focuses on the story of Nancy and Robin Buckley, who embark on a mystery investigation as Hawkins tries to recover from Vecna’s earthquake. The description of the book on its official
