    Ah gotcha. Similar to Ali and Nic. I still think he probably told TNA he’d get Jeff to appear tho. Especially with them putting Matt in such a high value position on the PPV.

    I’m pretty sure that’s the kayfabe reason too. When she debuted in Boston that was like her first priority was sending a message to Willow and coming out for Willow‘s main event.

    They’ve only updated the rankings a couple of times in the last couple months. As for this specific match is because it’s a rematch of when Mercedes was the new Japan pro wrestling women’s champion.

    You just know that when Matt Hardy got anthem to agree to hire him, he probably had already told them that he had Jeff’s ear, and then, when Jeff’s contract came up, he’d bring him along.

    I do think the best play as I was mentioning a little bit earlier would be that Perry came back to Coast punk friends, but he didn’t want to help the elite necessarily because they had the power to do something about his suspension the entire time. So he’s playing mind games.
