Justin Timberlake's sex scenes with Mila Kunis in 'Friends With Benefits' were "awkward".

The Hollywood heartthrob and the brunette beauty play lovers in the upcoming comedy movie, and Justin admits it wasn't easy getting romantic in front of the cameras with Mila

He said: "I'd be lying if I said filming the sex scenes wasn't completely awkward ... The producers and I agreed we would shoot a big chunk of the movie before we got down to the sex scenes, which was a good idea. That allowed Mila and me time to get comfortable. It wasn't that I didn't want to go all out for this."

It had been predicted that his scenes in 'Friends With Benefits' - which focuses on two professionals who agree to have a sexual relationship with no strings attached - wouldn't be the only awkward moments on a film set for Justin.

He stars with his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz in new movie 'Bad Teacher', which see's the actress' character Elizabeth Halsey romantically pursue Justin's alter-ego Scott Delacorte, but he insists things were fine between them on set.

The singer-turned-actor - who dated the blonde beauty for almost four years until December 2006 - told Playboy magazine: "It sounds complicated to everybody else, but it wasn't to us ... We don't talk to each other all the time, but we respect each other, and on some level we'll always love each other - but in our new capacity as friends. I think the world of her."

Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears may no longer be together, yet that hasn’t stopped the former NSync singer from remarking on the state of his one-time partner.
Speaking in the latest issue of Playboy magazine, the 30 year old had many an interesting word to say about the critique levelled against Spears.
His comments after the jump…

Via Punch Bowl:
On Britney and the video comparing her dancing skills from the past with the present
The internet is a cruel place. What a fucked-up thing to do… I don’t have too much to say about her situation. I can’t remember the last conversation I had with her. But this thing that happens online bothers me—these anonymous commenters. People think they can say anything and it doesn’t matter to people. I’d love to see the people who comment about Britney online say those things to her face, because they couldn’t. Also, in Britney’s defense, if you pulled up a video I did from 2003, I couldn’t do the shit I did then either.”
Yawn.

Yes, there exists a sect of folk who talk smack for the sake of it. However, it’s so 2001 to sit moaning about ‘anonymous folk’ on the net. It is, after all, 2011 and these ‘internet people’ now make up a significant portion of the record buying public. These same people have eyes and, like the masses, should be able to call BS when they see it. After all, it’s not their fault Britney performs like she’s been sedated.

With such an archaic and ill-informed perspective, it’ll sure be interesting to see how Justin would fare should he resurrect his successful, yet overrated solo career.

2 Men Held in Plot to Murder Singer Joss Stone

Wednesday, June 15, 2011

Two men are being held in a U.K. jail for attempting to murder singer Joss Stone. According to online reports, the men were captured in the area of Stone’s country home in Devon on Tuesday. Police found a sword, rope and a body bag n their possession.
So far, police are not ID’ing the two men, whose ages were 30 and 33. But authorities say the pair had the weapons inside their car along with blueprints mapping out Stone’s home and aerial views of the property.

Neighbors tipped off police after seeing the two men driving slowly and suspiciously around the village’s roads in a red Fiat Punto. Cops originally arrested them for possession of offensive weapons, but after questioning them further the charges were upgraded to conspiracy to rob and murder the singer. Source
Industry insiders believe Stone was targeted because she’s “heavy into the drug scene over there.”

In 2007, producer Dallas Austin accused Stone and other female pop singers of f*cking for tracks. In a shocking video produced by Dallas’ own Rowdy Records, he said, “f*ck all them bitches f*cking for tracks.”

PLAYBOY: Do you have an album’s worth of music hidden away somewhere?
TIMBERLAKE: No. I don’t have a single song ready to go. People keep asking me when a new song or album is coming out, and I don’t know what to say. Music is not my focus right now. It may be someday. It could happen next month or next year, but right now it’s not where it’s at for me. </td></tr></tbody></table>

Do you ever feel as though there’s a black guy trapped inside you waiting to come out?
TIMBERLAKE: Dude, I’m not touching that shit with a 10-foot pole! All I can tell you is I grew up in the South, where everything’s just a little bit thicker. The accents are thicker, the air’s thicker.
PLAYBOY: But clearly you have an affinity for black music and black culture. How else to explain the pitch-perfect “History of Rap” routine you did with Jimmy Fallon last year?
TIMBERLAKE: That’s the music of our generation, man. We were impersonating those rappers. We weren’t trying to be black. Listen, you’re touching on a deep issue for me. It’s bringing up stuff from my childhood. I grew up near the town where Martin Luther King was assassinated . It has always been a very segregated place. When I was a kid people would ask me what I hated most, and I would always say racism. It always comes up, and it always came up regarding my style of performing. I wasn’t cool with the white kids because they thought I wanted to be black. And I wasn’t cool with the black kids because they thought I wanted to be black. So I was looked at as a traitor and an intruder or an imposter. I had to find solace in just being me. </td></tr></tbody></table>

Pop culture’s editor in chief Madonna has confirmed she is to release a new album that she is to begin recording next month. In an official statement released by manager Guy Oseary, he announced the exciting news with additional information.

Find out more below…

‘She has a good idea of which producers she will be working with’, he revealed on Twitter recently, ‘There are lots of questions about what kind of music it will be . Stay tuned’ {Source}
This news comes three years after the release of her LP ‘Hard Candy’ which peaked at #1 in over 15 countries. Whilst there is no news yet surrounding exactly who the Material Girl will be collaborating is, it will be interesting to see which approach the ever innovative performer will take.

It sure will be interesting to see how she adapts to what is now a GaGa dominated industry. Still, as I’m sure many would agree, she’s Madonna; hence there’s always room for her.

Christina Aguilera earning $225,000 per episode of ‘The Voice’. <!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->

Christina Aguilera is reportedly earning $225,000 per episode of ‘The Voice’.

The singer-and actress is making the huge sum every time she judges the TV talent search show, while the other three panellists Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are each being paid $75,000 per episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

NBC – the network which airs the series – is spending $450,000 just on the judges for each show, not including the other production costs.

So far, the programme – which requires the judges to critique singers on their vocal talents and nothing else – has proved to be a big success regularly pulling in over 10 million viewers.

The eventual winner will get a $100,000 recording contact to launch their music career.

Meanwhile, Cee Lo Green has admitted he is struggling to cope with his increased fame since ‘The Voice’ started.

The ‘Forget You’ singer – whose solo LP ‘The Lady Killer’ has been a global hit and who is a member of Gnarls Barkley – admits being on TV has made him recognisable to a lot more people and on occasions he finds it exhausting to speak to so many fans.

He said: “To have to talk and talk and talk – it takes a toll on you. There’s no way you can avoid people unless you can afford to fly private all the time, and I can’t … It’s a toll of being talented.”

Life has certainly been sweet for Mariah Carey in recent years with the welcoming of her twins just months ago. Now, she has desired to share her sweet smell of success with the world with a trio of new fragrances in alliance with Elizabeth Arden.
Find out more below…

Named ‘Lollipop Splash (The Remix)‘, the limited edition of scents will be named after Mariah’s most recognizable work. With her extensive catalogue of material, Ms.Carey need not worry about running out of names for her perfumes. Let’s just hope for the sake of sales, ‘Glitter‘ isn’t added to the mix.

Fergie Airs Out Conflict With Will.I.Am In ‘Allure’

Black Eyed Peas beauty Fergie is Allure Magazine’s cover star this month.
Hitting stands on June 21st, the issue features an in depth interview with the 36 year old, a feature which sees her discuss how she feels about age and more interestingly the problem she says she has with group member, Will.i. Am.

Find out more below…

Speaking on the ‘Check It Out’ performer, she revealed:
‘There is conflict, he’s very protective, and it drives me nuts because I do a lot of my best work, writing-wise, when I’m completely alone/I need balance in my life, and the guys understand that … I don’t think Will ever wants a break. We’re very different in that way’

Whilst this may come as a surprise to many a ‘Peas’ fan who like the rest of the world was unaware of this so-called issue, it perhaps is more hilarious than shocking.
For it is laughable that Will.I.Am is allegedly putting such pressure on an artist as gifted and respected as Fergie, whilst he enables and endorses Cheryl Cole’s habitual lack of discernible talent at the same time.
Mind you, perhaps he feels that the ‘Fight For This Love‘ performer and ‘The Duchess’ are two different kinds of artist who both have different creative goals. Which may explain the pressure on one and leniency on the other.
Either way, maybe if he pushed Ms.Cole as much as he is allegedly pushing Ms.Ferguson, her voice wouldn’t have the depth of a dieting pancake.

35 million reasons why J.Lo might not return to 'Idol'

How about we just call it like it is: Jennifer Lopez’s recent admission to the BBC that she’s “on the fence” about returning to "American Idol" next season is likely nothing more than a ploy for a pay hike. Lopez’s current salary: a reported $12 million. How high could her demand ultimately go? Another $23 million, if the Simon Cowell budget is your barometer.

That’s right, "Idol’s" top-earning judge for eight years running commanded $35 million per season at the end of his tenure, or about $642,201 per hour, using season 9’s total airtime. And while Lopez is a proven entity with some box office cachet and a current hit on the Billboard charts (thanks, in large part, to its premiere and multiple plugs on "Idol"), is her contribution to the show really worth that much?

Let’s consider: The Bronx beauty has the crabby Brit beat in the looks department, as viewers tuned in just to see what Lopez was wearing or how her hair was done, but when it came to commenting on the performances, it took all season for her to work up the courage to be anything less than fawning. Were it not for Casey Abrams’s surprise peck and the occasional cooing “baby” that she would bestow on a contestant, and, dare we say, J Lo sometimes bordered on dull.

With that in mind, who’s really getting more out of this relationship? True, Fox was able to avert a season 10 ratings disaster by enlisting Lopez for a year on the panel (judge Steven Tyler is signed on through season 11), and the numbers stayed flat, but after nine months of work plus that hefty paycheck, J Lo also walked away with a resurrected career and a radio smash (“On the Floor”) on her hands — her first in nearly a decade.
One has to wonder: Was Lopez’s "Idol" commitment contingent on her having new product to promote? If that was the case, who could blame her? The exposure alone is priceless, but having an agenda is not lost on some viewers and even certain ex-contestants.
