On his Twitter account, @anglefoods1, Kurt Angle posted a number of things about how serious he was about training for the 2012 Olympics today. He also mentioned that TNA was behind him in his quest to make the team. Then, he talked about his contract status with the company saying:

"I am signing a 3 1/2 Guarantee Contract with Tna. I will be compensated Higher than Wwe. I am Proud to be in Tna. Thank You Dixie!!!"

I hope he doesn't mean 3 1/2 years. This guy is going to die in the ring and needs to focus on retiring. I can't believe that TNA would give him such a big contract as well, how sure are you that he will still be around performing well at his age with his body in 12 months let alone 3 years. He is proud to be in TNA but yet again he mentions WWE in a tweet. This company is so idiotic that they don't prevent their wrestlers from mentioning WWE since it makes them look bush league.

He's never going away. I've said this before. Completely evidenced by his wanting to be in the Olympics again.

He just better hope TNA doesn't go under.

But whose to say this is true. Maybe in his mind Kurt wants this contract, or maybe he is just trying to hype himself and the company up. While I still him in TNA for awhile, I still have my doubts over weather he will retire there.

I don't see Kurt Angle going back to WWE, or the WWE even wanting Kurt Angle back for that matter. Let's face it, they didn't want to take a chance on Nigel McGuinness for what I thought was because of his biceps, but some asshole spilled the beans about his condition. But it also means, WWE wouldn't want to chance having this guy Misawa himself in their ring. TNA will parade these guys until someone dies in one of their rings.

If WWE released him from his contract four or five years ago they aren't going to bring him back now except for a HOF induction and maybe one match to go with it. They won't take the risk of bringing him back on the road in his current physical or mental state. TNA have him for life and Angle seems to want to continue wrestling forever.

Really this is a dumb move. I think the 3 1/2 would be years not million. I mean Cena does not even make that much money in his contract and he is the top dog when it comes to money. I seriously think Angle should just take a freaking break or retire. I mean you have done it all already no need in continuing. I say get settle down, and get your life back together.

Exactly. Not only does Angle not fit in with the current WWE movement of getting younger, but mentally Kurt just isn't right, and he honestly hasn't been for quite some time it seems. Even if he went to WWE, simply because of THAT statement he would never get the push he deserves. Vince would shit himself if he put the strap on Angle and gave him the run he would warrant in WWE and then got busted for something.

Crazy Kurt is fun. He'll never go back to WWE because he's unwanted there. TNA will keep him going, ignoring all the bullshit this man does, until he can't go anymore. He'll either end up paralyzed or (like Deezy said) Misawa'd.

Come on guys get real, I am not suggesting WWE would want him back for good, but the fact is Angle is still a guy who can draw Vince money even in a one off feud or match. History says that Vince will bring back anyone for a one off match, just for business. People said Hogan would never go back there he did, people never thought Nash would go back there, he did, they even bought back a guy like Animal. Surely Kurt is in better shape right now than those guys. Never say never in wrestling, and I still believe one day than Kurt will appear again in a WWE ring "Oh its true, its damn true!"
