WWE SmackDown Spoilers for Jan. 27th

[Kross Rhodes]

*They announce Mark Henry vs. Big Show tonight coming out of a segment where World champion Daniel Bryan rips on Show for what he did to AJ, while Show feels very guilty.

*WWE Intercontinental champ Cody Rhodes pinned Justin Gabriel.

*Sheamus pinned Drew McIntyre.

*WWE Tag Team champions Epico & Primo defeated Yoshi Tatsu & Santino Marella.

*Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett turns into a huge brawl. A number of officials and wrestlers try to break it up, only to end up eating a number of RKOs for their trouble.

*Ted DiBiase vs. Hunico. DiBiase wrestled with a heavily taped wrist. Hunico targeted the injury and defeated DiBiase. They did a post match beating and injury angle.

*Daniel Bryan tried to manipulate Mark Henry to really hurt Big Show tonight in a backstage segment.

*Brodus Clay pinned Alex Riley.

*In a segment just for the live crowd, Teddy Long announced a Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett Streetfight for the dark match.

*Aksana pinned Natalya in five seconds. Natalya attacks her and applies the Sharpshooter but Tamina made the save and laid out Natalya with the Superfly Splash.

*Big Show defeated Mark Henry by countout. Daniel Bryan attacked Show and laid him out with a chair and got the LeBell Lock on him, but Show broke free and chokeslammed Bryan. Bryan escaped the ring before Show could nail him with another.

Thoughts?

Personally I'm really digging the new DB character. It kinda reminds me of Roode's a little but that's okay because I think it works for DB too. Mainly because all his opponents are so much bigger than him so it makes sense he goes down this path.

Big show considers retiring? He's old and it plays into the guilt angle over what he did to AJ.

Except for The Funkasaurus, this show isn't worth watching. This time two years ago SmackDown was really good, I'm shaking my head at what happened.

I don't care about the post match antics. Natalya is one of the only divas on the roster that actually works hard.

The big show shows no signs about being too old to retire.

There are plenty of jobbers to lose to Brodus clay. Not Alex Riley.

Drew McIntyre goes from being the chosen one to losing and almost getting fired every week.

If they wanted the dibiase posse to be put on hold then they should have had a credible heel fuck him up. Like Cody Rhodes

And Randy orton and and wade barrett could have had at least a five minute match

6. Why? If they had a five minute match it would cheapen their eventual blowoff, on PPV, where people pay to see it.

To play devil's advocate for a moment, we all know it's her job to job to whomever she's told to, it doesn't make it suck any less when she deserves a lot better than what WWE has been giving her to work with.

I know clay winning is important but alex riley has potential.

If wwe gets themselves out of not firing McIntyre then I will be stunned

Cody Rhodes can destroy dibiase setting up a feud between the two in the future.

If wwe wants smackdown to get more viewers Randy orton vs wade Barrett is the way to do it.
