You have to be divisional wrestler to challenge for a divisional title. He wanted the title and took it. He could have just as easily established his "dominance" by beating said champion in a non-title match. Lashley is basically just trying make every champion and their respective division look inferior to him and makes those divisions look pathetic.

You look more dominant when you win the title but I agree it makes the division look weak. But I still think beating them non title like NWO did makes the division look weak.

I already agreed it did, but I said they BEAT UP ALL OF WCW. But it didn't devalue the belt. There's a difference between getting beat up and losing your title in a championship match. Otherwise wrestlers would hand over their titles after beat downs.
