ROYAL RUMBLE 2014 LIVE DISCUSSION THREAD~!!!

It's upon us! On the 26th of January, the Royal Rumble takes place. A match where 30 men (possibly one woman) will compete in an over-the-top-rope battle royal to find out who will get a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. There will be some returns, there will be some unforgettable moments and there will be some hell to pay for anyone that crosses The Authority and their champion, Randy Orton. Who will come out on top? Who will get a main event spot in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at the illustrious WRESTLEMANIA 30?!

I am so pissed I can't go to this. The only tickets available are $400 a pop. Maybe I will see if any of them will be cheaper when it gets closer to the event.

Hey, one of the few PPV's I actually watch!

Obviously this'll depend on who wrestles for the title, but winner has to be Cena, Punk or Bryan. Batista as an outside shot.

When they brought back Cena a few years back at the Rumble, he won it! Batista has a shot. Question is... will he make his return DURING the Rumble match, or in another spot?

Sitting here thinking about it, I'd love it and wouldn't be shocked if Punk won. It would lead to what he's been wanting for years now. A main event spot for the title at Wrestlemania.

I never thought I'd see the day that Brodie Lee was featured on a WWE poster; amazing. Anyhow, I've made the decision to give the 'E a chance in the New Year so along with attempting to watch Raw for the next few weeks, I'll also be here for this one.

So between the likes of Punk & Bryan presumably entering the match and the potential returns of Batista, Rob Van Dam, Chris Jericho, Christian, ADR & Sheamus, throw in guys like Big Show, Ryback, Big E., Rey Mysterio and the other midcard baggy pants crew, and this has the potential to be the most stacked rumble field in years.

This will probably be a damn good Rumble, Batista is back, so is Camacho, and there might be some returns in there too, I was hoping Jeff Hardy would come back until I heard he still has 2 more years in TNA.

This Rumble is gonna suck. I'm just gonna say that right now. One of the most underwhelming Rumble match lineups ever. That can possibly attest to the crap roster they have at the moment.
