Lita vs. Trish Stratus
This is decent, i've never been a fan of this pairing. Trish is really good, she's taken to the heel style right away. Tons of cheating, and just being a bitch. This might be Lita's best showing this whole year, she sells the neck pretty well and doesn't look like she's going through the moves in her head as she does them. He comeback does still seem pretty rushed tho. Lita hits a reverse twist of fate, but Trish kicks out. She goes for it again, but KANE is on the TRON! he begins saying her name "LITA" in his seductive voice which distracts her allowing Trish to roll her up, with feet on the ropes for the win. **1/2

Kane says he didn't mean to distract or cause her any harm. He just wants a YES or NO! Tonight.

Randy Orton comes out, he says if you haven't noticed. I like to talk about myself, he says he likes to talk about how he beat Foley at Mania and Backlash, Edge last week and that he is the longest IC champion in the last 7 years. And tonight, Batista and I will become the Tag Team Champions. He says his accomplishments are endless, tonight isn't just about Randy Orton. IT'S ABOUT EVOLUTION! He says Triple H will bring the World Title back to Evolution, with he and Batista's help. THERE'S NO STOPPING EVOLUTION!.....................AIN'T NO STOPPING ME............NOW! hits, and outcomes Shelton. I like what the did here Shelton says a little reminder, I've beaten Triple H twice, and as far as he's concerned. Tonight is about him winning the battle royal and going on to face Benoit, and there's nothing he can do about it. Randy tells him to relax, and his luck is running out. He says he's no match for him and he knows he's better than him. Shelton challenges him for the IC Title if he's so sure. Orton calls him uppity, and says that's the problem with "you people", you give them an inch and they take a mile lmao He says he wouldn't soil the IC Title by defending it against him. Shelton then attacks Orton, he has this awesome 90's like babyface beating until Ric Flair comes out to pull Orton to safety.

Backstage: Evolution are talking, Orton says he will take care of Shelton on his own terms. Batista says that's right buy first they will become tag team champion. Triple H then jokes about it being every man for himself. He says Benoit's days are numbered and they will have all the gold once again.

Backstage: Regal and Eugene are talking, when Uncle Eric comes over he says he's "proud of him" he pulls Regal to the side and says if we're gonna break Eugene we have to embarrass him and make him a laughing stock. He says he has a special interview set up for Eugene tonight, all Regal has to do is send him out alone.

Kane vs. Val Venis
SQUASH!

Matt Hardy runs out and attacks Kane, they brawl onto the floor where Matt has a chair. He hits him in the ribs but as he goes to do it again in the ring, Kane counters with a big boot. He follows up with a chokeslam before hanging Matt upside down in the corner. Kane then gets one of the camera cables and begins choking him. He places the chair around Matt's neck and begins stepping on it Choking the life out of Matt. LITA runs down screaming that enough and get off him. She says fine if he wants an answer the answer is YES! Kane eases up his boot and hugs her from behind in this AMAZING CREEPY RAPE visual.

WWE World Tag Team Championships: Chris Benoit & Edge vs. Evolution (Randy Orton & Batista w/Ric Flair)
So yeah, this rules. Edge/Orton rules, Orton/Benoit rules, Batista/Benoit rules this whole thing rules. RAW 2004 rules. I love that it's a total struggle for both teams to get anything started, e.g. Evolution briefly iso Benoit but he fights out, as the champs then briefly iso Orton and clean house as we go to a commercial. But when we return, its Evolution are now in control we see that during the break Edge goes for the spear but Batista avoids and he goes shoulder first into the ring post. So Evolution works over it and it's pretty good. Lots of stomps and arm stretches, i do find it funny that Edge can sell his arm, but not the wrist on the same arm that is being worked over. C'MON. Benoit does his usual awesome hot tag, just hurling himself around cleaning house. Orton/Benoit is so fucking good man like I just need August to hurry up already. The match breaks down, with the champs hitting some double teams but Batista is having none of it. He counters out of the crossface by just throwing Benoit into the ref, in another totally legit-looking ref bump. The ref is down, as Batista and Edge fight on the floor. Benoit hits the triple rolling Germans, he heads up top but Flair tries to interfere but fails. Benoit goes for the diving headbutt but ORTON HAS THE IC TITLE AND PUTS IT UP SO BENOIT HEADBUTTS IT! Orton slowly covers but only gets two, again Flair is up on the apron and Edge spears him off. Batista and Edge fight on the floor again, with Edge sending Batista into the steps. In the ring, Benoit counters the RKO into the crossface and Orton taps. OH SHIT! Foreshadowing. ***1/4

Backstage: Regal tells Eugene his interview is up next, he tells him he will be waiting for him here. Regal says sometimes you have to stand up for yourself. Eugene asks what he's trying to say and Regal almost tells him Uncle Eric is trying to sabotage him but says that Uncle Eric & he both wish him luck.

Todd Grisham is in the ring and brings out Eugene, Todd goes to ask him a question but Coachman interrupts and comes down to the ring. Coach tells him to take a hike the A TEAM IS TAKING OVER! Coach says he thinks Eugene is a great guy and says everyone was laughing at him last week and says he's just a joke, and the people think it too. He says he doesn't belong here and has no friends. Coach yells at him to leave. He walks back up the ramp.......................BUT! BUT BAH GAWD, THE ROCK IS HERE! The Rock comes down to the ring with Eugene. The Rock grabs the mic and says he was just chilling backstage and heard someone talking about the people, he says there is only one man that knows about the people. The Rock says he's a big fan of Eugene's, and nobody listens to Coach. Rock says the people love Eugene. Rock says it would be an honor to be Eugene's friend, and calls Coach a popcorn fart. Coach says he needs to do this type of things because the last time we saw him he was getting his ass kicked all over Mania XX. Eugene gets to do IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK! Rock asks who his friend is, and who's the man, and Eugene says The Rock. He asks who his favorite of all time is, and Eugene yells out, "TRIPLE H" FUCK YEAH! Eugene says they both like games, and Rock quietly says this is embarrassing and H's favorite game is Hide The Strudel. Rock will explain later, or better yet, Lillian can. Rock says they can play a game of beating Coach's ass, but Garrison Cade runs out to attack The Rock. They clean house, and Rock lets Eugene do the People's Elbow. GOOD SHIT!

SMACKDOWN REBOUND!

Christian is out of the battle royal after being injured in the cage match last week and Matt Hardy is out after earlier.

#1 Contender's Battle Royal
Pretty cool moment with all the jobbers joining up along with Jericho, Edge and Shelton go right at Evolution. Kane is just chilling in the background who throws Nitro out right away, Batista then throws Steven Richards out, Kane then throws Rosey out. Kane then goes to throw Hurricane out but he lands in Rosey's arms who rolls him back in. Maven eliminated Conway during the commercial. Hunter then throws Maven and Val out, Jericho takes Sylvan out followed by dropkicking Cade over the rope. Evolution team up to beatdown Rhyno, before Batista, throws him out. Batista and Hunter team up to throw Hurricane out.

Hunter, Orton, Batista, Flair, Edge, Shelton, Jericho, Kane are left. Everyone pretty much pairs off, with Evolution staying far away from Kane. Shelton continues to shine in interactions with Hunter. Orton has some close calls in the corner as he hangs on for dear life. Jericho clothesline Flair out, Batista kills Jericho with a LARIAT! before throwing him out. Shockingly Kane/Hunter have a fun interaction. KANE hits everyone with chokeslams. BUT WE GET A KANE/BATISTA FACE OFF! Batista counters the chokeslam and hits his spinebuster. Edge then clotheslines Batista out. Edge Spears Hunter, he then spears Kane. He goes for one on Orton but Orton ducks and Edge goes over the top, he tries to hang on but Orton kicks him down.

Hunter, Orton, Shelton, Kane are left. Shelton vs. Hunter/Orton is great, he does a phenomenal job fighting the odds and coming back from almost being eliminated 2 or 3 times. He hits Kane with the Dragon Whip and SHELTON CLOTHESLINES ORTON OUT! He keeps it up, but Hunter hits both Kane and Shelton with low blows, and he tosses Shelton out. Hunter feels the victory coming...............BUT SHAWN MICHAELS RUNS OUT! He hits Hunter with punches before clotheslining Hunter over the top. KANE wins. Shawn goes through the crowd and taunts an irate Triple H to end the show.

Tonight: Cena/Rene Rematch.

Eddie Guererro comes out, he has a black bag with him. Eddie says he bled a little bit but he feels good. He's in VEGAS! The capital of Lie, Cheat and Steal homes. He says Bradshaw may have taken a lot out of him at the PPV, but he didn't take his WWE championship. Eddie says JBL left empty-handed, but he didn't. He says he stole something. He pulls out JBL's hat which is covered in blood. He says this had now belonged to him and begins whipping it on his ass, he says he feels so good he's gonna offer JBL some advice. Invest in bandages because he's gonna need it tonight. LETS CUT THE TALK! GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE! JBL comes out in the limo. He stands through the sunroof, and can't believe Eddie wants him AGAIN after what he did to him on Sunday. JBL says no, and says he won at the PPV. He guaranteed it and it happen. Plus with the way Eddie's is right now, that's a gamble. AND HE HATES GAMBLING BECAUSE IT'S FOR SIMPLE MINDED LAZY PEOPLE LOOKING FOR AN EASY PAYOFF! JBL says he earned his money, just like he earned that WWE championship. He tells Eddie to do the right thing, and hand over the WWE Championship. Eddie says he'll give him the ass kicking that he deserves. GM Angle comes out though and says only he makes the matches. And Eddie's request for a rematch has been denied. Kurt says he would love to force Eddie to hand the title over, but the higher-ups wouldn't allow it so he books Eddie/Rey/RVD vs. JBL/Dudleyz tonight.

Kurt looks god awful, I think the drugs are kicking in. But in other news, Kurt debuts this lift entrance

Charlie Haas & Rico (w/Miss Jackie) vs. The F.B.I. (Nunzio & Johnny Stamboli)
Champions showcase, Rico does his gay shit, Haas is still freaked out. FBI have a brief heat segment on Rico, it doesn't really do anything it just felt like filler. The match ends with Rico kissing Nunzio allowing Haas to hit a German with a bridge to win.

Tonight: Spke vs. Chavo vs. Chavo for the title.

Backstage: The Chavo's are watching what happen at the PPV. Classic says tonight is a triple threat match, and it's 2-on-1. Jr says he doesn't need him and could do it all alone. Classic says he taught him everything he knows, but he's also forgotten more than what Jr knows. Jr says Classic was good back in his day, but it's his time. Jr says nobody can beat him. Classic says he's playing with him, it was a joke. Jr says he'll see him in the ring. Classic then has this "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WELL" look on his face.

Billy Kidman and Akio come out for a match, but Mordecai comes out and beats both men down. Kidman and Akio bump like crazy for him. Tazz and Cole talk about Mordecai's HIGHER POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Backstage: JBL is getting his blood pressure checked WTF? The doctor then goes to check the staples on top of JBL's head, JBL says don't listen to Eddie when he comes in to get checked out because Eddie is a DAMN liar.

WWE United States Championship: Rene Dupree (w/FiFi) vs. John Cena
someone already has a 5 MOVES OF DOOM sign this is a little better than the PPV match, they don't have the best chemistry but boy they tried. Rene works the arm and Cena does some phenomenal selling during the work, this is without question Rene's best singles showing to date, he's super aggressive working the arm and finally adds some new things to his game and not the basics in working ___ body part. He armbar looks shit though. But Cena's arm are so big and veiny PAUSE that it really looks like he's fighting off giving Rene arm leverage. Cena has this dope comeback he doesn't use the bad arm at all, and only uses it on instinct e.g. the shoulderblock but then he goes right back to selling. Rene keeps rolling to the floor as soon as Cena starts get going, he tries another powerbomb to the floor but Cena backdrops out of it. He bounces Rene's head off the ringsteps and again Rene rolls out. He grabs the flag but Cena blocks and breaks it over his knee. As the ref gets rid of the flag, Rene uses that to low blow Cena and rolls back in. Rene then just allows the ref to count Cena out. WHAT A blueberry! YOU CAN'T WIN THE TITLE ON A countout! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! What a moron, who approved that finish. Wouldn't Rene be like "yo, that makes me look stupider than Eugene" Oh well, fuck him. ahahahahahahahahaahaha. After the match; Rene drops Cena with a scoop slam because no one knows his finisher. **1/2

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Chavo Guererro Jr. vs. Chavo Guererro Classic vs. Spike Dudley
Fun little match, nothing really to write about. Spike takes a beating for the majority of the match but has these fun little comebacks until the numbers catch up to him. Awesome little spot with Jr. briefly knocked out, Classic tries to get a quick sneak roll up but Spike kicks out. the match ends when Spike hits the Dudley Dog on Jr. but he and Classic bumps heads, with Classic falling on top of Jr for the win. FUCK YEAH! CHAVO CLASSIC DA GREAT! **1/4

RAW REBOUND!

FUCK YES! SMACKDOWN NUMBA #1 ANNOUNCER FUNAKI is standing by, he interviews Booker T. Funaki askks if he is afraid of the Undertaker, Booker says look man I ain't afraid of nobody, man. He says The Undertaker cheated at Judgement Day. He says he thinks Paul Bearer switched his magic pouch when he wasn't looking lmao YES! He says he Kurt to GM Kurt and asked for a rematch, but Taker isn't here cause he knew he would whoop his punk ass. Booker says Kurt said he can have any match he wants...SO TONIGHT! FUNAKI YOU WILL GET YOUR PUNK ASS WHOPPED! Funaki's all like TELL ME YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT, and Booker tries to hit him. Funaki hits Booker with the mic, and runs away.

Last 10 minutes of SD is some of the best stuff not involving Eddie/JBL/Brock all year.

Funkai vs. Booker T
Funaki wearing the cool grey Jordan 12's Good Booker SQUASH! but went on far too long for what it was. Scissors Kick wins it. Also at some point, Booker broke Funaki's nose maybe, idk just a lot of blood started pouring out of his nose after a kick.

Backstage: In the trainer's room Eddie is laid out, with JBL standing over him holding a chair yelling he beat him at Judgement Day.

KENZO SUZUKI!

Everyone but Eddie comes out, GM Kurt then comes out on his little elevator thing. He says he has some bad news, he says Eddie would rather stay in the back with some fake injury than come out here and wrestle. He says that won't cut it. So Eddie, when you finally recover from you "so-called injury" you're welcome to join your team cause the match starts now.

John Bradshaw Layfield & The Dudley Boyz vs. Rey Mysterio, Rob Van Dam & Eddie Guererro
This gets a ton of time and is pretty decent, heel team beat the shit out of Rey to start and it's fun. He then makes his own comeback and hot tag before tagging RVD in, but he immediately gets cut off and now the heels isolate him. Heel's do a great job at well-being heels, cheating, triple teams behind the refs back, choking, suckering the ref into getting distracted all that good shit along with just beating up RVD. Rey has this great hot tag, on JBL before the commercial break, and they did a really great false finishing run before it settled back down. E.G. Rey hitting the 619 and RVD following up with a 5-Star FrogSplash but Bubba pulls Rey to the floor. During the commercial RVD got a 3D on the floor, so it was Rey vs. all three. Bubba going over to stand in Rey's corner on the apron to taunt him was fantastic. The heels continue to iso Rey and just take turns beating him down until Eddie hobbles out. He tags in and cleans house, he hits the 3 amigos to D-Von but just before he goes for the Frog Splash. He eyes go blank, he stumbles around and collapses to the mat. The Dudleyz, JBL, and ref are all in shock. JBL then tags himself in and covers for the win. EPIC! CHEAP HEAT VICTORY. ***

EMT and stuff run down to check on Eddie.

Recap of last weeks 20 man over the top match.

Backstage: Evolution are in Eric's office, Hunter rants that he has Kane beat and he should be the one going into Bad Blood. Eric says he has reinstated Shawn, and he will be here tonight. Eric says he's already booked Hunter vs. Shawn at Bad Blood, Triple H says Shawn can any match he wants because he won't make it to Bad Blood. Hunter turns to Evolution and says where the hell were they last week? He says he wants unity tonight and says to go with Flair for his match against Edge. They go with him, but Orton says if Shawn shows up during the match, to kick his ass. Hunter thinks about it and tells Batista to stay with him. loooooooool.

Edge vs. Ric Flair (w/Randy Orton)
This is really good, Edge pinballs Flair around who bumps all over the place. Like, it's all Edge to start until an Orton distraction leads to a Flair thumb to the eye. Flair does some nice things, he doesn't really target a body part just wear down Edge with his usual strokes, chops, knee drops and shit like that. It's good cause Edge doesn't really have to sell anything, and has a nice comeback which he can mainly focus on. Flair takes his usual corner bump but falls on the top of his head. Orton again gets involved but Flair can only get a two out of it. Shelton runs down and fights Orton on the floor, allowing Edge to spear Flair for the win. **1/2

Triple H and Batista are outside the building waiting for Shawn.

Earlier Today, Vince was in a room full of woman. He then announces the $250,000 Raw Diva Search.

Backstage: Todd Grisham is outside Lita's dressing room, just as he's about to knock Matt Hardy barges through and begins banging on the door, Lita comes from behind. She says she just needed some time to think. She says Matt means alot to her and she's realized she loves him. They make out and says she would rather show him how much she loves him. She goes into her room............................................................AND KANE IS THERE! She asks what he's doing her and she thought this was over. Kane then whispers it's over, this is all oooover. She leaves and Matt is outside waiting, they then leave the building.

Triple H and Batista attack some guy in a car, that looks like Shawn. But it's just Steven Richards. Hunter tells him to go check on Randy and Ric.

La Resistance vs. The Hurricane & Rosey
This is their usual match, Hurricane takes a huge bump to the floor, and hurts his knee. La Resistance works the knee. Rosey's hot tag is not bad. Hurricane's hurt knee comes back to cost them, as he falls into a cheap shot from Conway. He falls back into a schoolboy by Sylvan who grabs the tights for the win. **1/4

Triple H is still pacing up and down when Shawn Michaels pulls up on him. They brawl on a car, then up against the building until refs, agents, and others force them apart.

The Highlight Reel is set up in the ring, with Jericho already in it. Jericho brags about putting Christian on the shelf and says CLB now stands for "Crushed Lower Back" Jericho then introduces his guest tonight. RANDY ORTON! Jericho says Orton has quite the impressive list of accomplishments, he lists the Legends Orton has knocked off. He asks why Orton is ducking Shelton? Orton says he ain't ducking him and Shelton has yet to prove himself. Jericho goes to cut him off and Randy yells don't cut me off, and Jericho responds by saying this is my show. I do what i want assclown. Jericho then brings up Shelton beating Hunter twice, Orton says Jericho and Shelton both have something in common. They both have big mouths. Jericho asks if he'll call him a poopyhead next. Orton says Jericho's name is about to be added to his list, of LEGENDS KILLED! Orton slaps Jericho, and Jericho responds with a dropkick. Batista comes out to make it a 2-1. But Shelton runs down to even the odds. The faces clean the ring, Eric comes out onto the stage and says he already had it with Hunter/Shawn and he will not lose control of anything else so he makers Shelton/Jericho vs. Orton/Batista. NOW!

Randy Orton & Batista vs. Chris Jericho & Shelton Benjamin
Sadly, the match got started during the commercial. But when we return, we get Orton/Jericho followed by Batista/Shelton, they briefly iso Shelton which is fun. Shelton hits a desperation neckbreaker leading to a Jericho hot tag, a really, really, really great one at that. He cleans house taking both Batista and Orton out so they have to regroup on the floor. As we cut to another commercial When we return, Jericho is now being iso'ed as Trish joins commentary. Evolution target Jericho arm, and seeing how Jericho is far better than Edge his selling is so much better, even though I really liked Edge's arm selling from last week. Batista and Orton pretty much use the same gameplan and holds as last week, but it rules so I'll allow it. Shelton has a good hot tag of his own, it's not even close to Jericho's but it's really good. And he has some nice exchanges with Batista. The match breaks down, with Orton and Shelton going back and forth. Jericho counters the RKO shoving him into Shelton who debuts the T-Bone Suplex for the win. Fun match, the commercial breaks really hurt this tho. ***

Jericho makes his way up the ramp as Trish tries to get his attention. He finally pays her some attention, which leads to Tomko attacking him from behind. Tomko then powerbombs him through the announce table.

KANE/Benoit Video Package.

Kane comes down to the ring, he says he envy's Benoit. Not only is Benoit the World Champion, but he lives a normal life He envies that Benoit is living his dream, while he lives in a nightmare. FULL OF DARKNESS AND SHADOWS! But it's all gonna change at Bad Blood. Kane says what he wants, he always gets. AHAHAHAHAHAHA! PYRO!

Backstage: Eric and Shawn are talking, Shawn keeps asking if he has his match, Eric says yes. But Shawn says NO! DO I HAVE MY MATCH! THE WAY I WANTED IT! Eric says yes, but Hunter barges and they brawl again as Eric yells for help. Again they have to be pulled apart.

RAW NEXT WEEK IN MONTREAL!

Victoria debuts "I AIN'T A LADY TO MESS WITH" theme along with Dance entrance

Victoria vs. Molly Holly (w/Gail Kim)
The usual, Molly is great at being aggressive, while Victoria is not good at being a face. Victoria hits the widow's peak for the win, Gail tries to jump her after the match but it backfires and she gets hit with a widow's peak too.

SMACKDOWN REBOUND!

Eric is ranting to the RAW locker room saying they need to get control of the show back, he says if you see Shawn or Hunter fighting tear them apart. And if you don't YOUR FIRED!

Recap of The Rock's surprise appearance last week.

Backstage: Todd Grisham tries to interview, Eugene and William Regal. Eugen does Blue stuff while also imitating The Rock. Nitro comes over and says Regal has not been reinstated so he won't be wrestling in his match against Cade and Coach, so he's barred from ringside. Nitro says Eugene has 3 minutes to find a partner or he will have to face it alone. Regal again says sometimes you have to go it alone.

CHRIS BENOIT IS BACK AND HE'S EUGENE'S PARTNER!

Johnathan Coachman & Garrison Cade vs. Eugene & Chris Benoit
This is like 2 or 3 minutes, it's a basic showcase for the faces. Coach is the greatest at getting his ass kicked. Benoit hits the Diving Headbutt and lets Eugene do one too for the win. After the match; Eugene celebrates holding both titles.

Backstage: Hunter is ranting to Ric and Randy when Shawn busts in, they fight as Flair just stays in the back yelling HE'S GONNA KILL YOU! Jobbers come in and pull them apart.

Triple H comes down to the ring, he yells it ends right here and right now. He calls Shawn out, they brawl for a bit. Evolution comes out to make it a 4-1 but the faces (Benoit, Edge & Shelton) even the odds, they brawl to the back. Suddenly all the wrestlers from the back come out and pull them apart. Eric is now in the ring. AND YELLS AT BAD BLOOD IT WILL BE TRIPLE H VS. SHAWN MICHAELS..................HELL...IN...A...CELL!

He's decided Eddie will be here tonight, and Eddie will be in action. He says Eddie has a responsibility as WWE Champion. Kurt says as his boss he too has a responsibility. He says he will have EMT's at ringside for Eddie's match IF his passes out again.

Tonight: Rene/Cena III in a Lumberjack match UGH!

Rob Van Dam & Rey Mysterio vs. The Dudley Boyz
Fuckin' Cole calls this a classic rivalry, JESUS! This match seems to get worse, it's weird they don't really work of previous spots and have counters for the past stuff that worked or didn't, it's just weird. Rey is Rey so he's good, Bubba shows flashes but D-Von is just meh and RVD is back to being ASS. Paul Heyman walks down the steps in the crowd to sit in the front row, as they isolate Rey, i like that wrestlers have finally stopped working a specific part of Rey cause they know he won't sell, so now they just beat him up and work over anything. E.G. First Buba works the head, then the chest but when D-Von is in he goes after Rey's leg. Obviously, none of it gets sold but it's all like 10 seconds before the next thing, so I'm fine I guess. RVD's hot tag is whatever, it's the same shit he's done in every match. The match breaks down, with RVD trying to break everyone's jaw with trust kicks, they hit the rolling thunder/dropping the dime double team but Bubba breaks it up, Rey then hits a 619 but Heyman hops the rails and pulls Rey down. Bubba then throws Rey chest first onto the announce table and rolls him back in allowing D-Von to get the win. **

Backstage: The Dudleyz are celebrating, they hear Heyman yelling. Bubba open the door saying he's with them. Paul says are they happy.............HE THE SLAPS D-Von, he goes to do it to Bubba but Bubba blocks and goes to choke him. Heyman says why are they so happy, all they did was win a match. He talks about how D-Von pinned the WWE Champion. But he didn't get the title match or the main event spot. Heyman says where's the impact or the headlines. He says wins are nice but that's it. THE MONEY IS BETTER IN THE MAIN EVENT! Heyman tells them to pick a victim and make an IMPACT! He says he's been talking to some of the other boyz and they have no problem making that IMPACT!

Michael Cole is in the ring, Cole announces that the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship at the Great American Bash, is his guest right now............JOHN BRADSHAW LAYFIELD! Cole shows footage of what happened 11 days ago at the PPV, and what happened last week. Cole asks what kind of man JBL is after last week, and JBL says not to ever question his manhood or he'll slap him into next week, and yells at Cole to get out. JBL says he's a businessman, a smart, very rich man. He says he sees things most people don't, he says he hesitated before he pinned Eddie cause he didn't know what Eddie was up to. He says HELL YEAH! I would take advantage of a weakened man, unlike you all. IM NOT WEAK! He goes on to say Eddie was faking, just like his mother lied. He says Eddie didn't want to take another beating, so he laid on the mat like a coward. He calls the beating at Judgement Day Legendary and says what he does to him at the Bash will be criminal. He calls the fans stupid and blind for believing in Eddie's fake injury, he says Eddie had to cheat at the PPV cause he knew he couldn't beat him. JBL says Kurt told him he got to name the stipulation for their rematch, he says he will wait a week, cause this is now his game and his rules. He says he's gonna bash Eddie into oblivion and take what is his. LONGHORNS!

Cole says Booker vs. Undertaker, next week in Toronto, Canada

Booker grabs the mic, he says he knows Taker is in the back and hopes he's listening. Cause next week, it won't be like the PPV. I'M NOT AFRAID OF YOUR LITTLE POWER................THE LIGHTS GO OUT! Smoke enters the ring and pyro hits the ringposts, Booker yells is that all he got? and it's gonna take a whole lot more than lights and sounds to beat him.

EMT's come out, cause Eddie Guererro is out next.

Mordecai promo, he talks about making sinners pay with blood and he has chosen his first victim.

Danny Basham (w/Doug Basham) vs. Eddie Guererro
Eddie wrecks the stretcher and sends the EMT's to the bad, the Bashams try to get the jump but Eddie fights both men off. Kurt then comes out, he says nice try, he almost fell for it. He says Eddie won't sue him if he gets injured again, and he won't be wrestling anytime soon unless he signs a hold harmless agreement. So yeah, no match.

NEXT WEEK, SUMMER BREAK OUT BIKINI CONTEST!

Torrie Wilson & Spike Dudley vs. Dawn Marie & Jamie Noble
It is what it is, Noble and Spike have a good interaction, Torrie/Dawn is Torrie and Dawn, i love that Cole brings up Dawn being married to Torrie dad, he then pauses and say RIP! FUCK YEAH! Spike hits the Dudley Dog for the win.

KENZO SUZUKI!

Backstage: Kurt is with Luther when Cena busts in, Kurt is pissed that Cena went behind his back to the board of directors and pitch an idea and idea that they liked. The idea was to have all the US marines get the PPV for free. Kurt claims Cena stole his idea and was gonna pitch it next week. Kurt gets pissed and says it's all fun and games, and Cena makes him sick. Kurt says he can't wait to see Rene beat him tonight, cause he'll have a front row ringside seat.

Backstage: CHAVO CLASSIC HAS HIS OWN DRESSING ROOM THAT HAS CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMP ON IT! Chavo Jr barges in but classic says he needs to knock before coming into the champ's room. He makes Chavo knock and Classic pretends this is the first time seeing him He tells Jr to go out first so he can introduce the champion.

Chavo Jr is in the ring, he says he was a little upset but now realized if he can't be champion at least it stayed in the family with his DAD! Chavo Classic comes out in a ROBE! I love him so much.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Chavo Guererro Classic (w/Chavo Guererro Jr.) vs. Akio
Akio is still selling the effects of last weeks beating, Classic works over the neck which gets sold really nicely. Akio makes a comeback but Jr. keeps distracting the ref stopping a pin from taking place, Classic throws Akio to the floor where Jr hits a tornado DDT and rolls him back in allowing Classic to get the win. CLASSIC DA GREAT!

RAW REBOUND!

Backstage: The Dudleyz attack someone in the parking lot, they lock him into the boot of the car and Bubba yells, "LAST RIDE, PAUL" before driving off. An urn is left on the floor, and HEYMAN PICKS IT UP!

Lumberjack Match for the WWE United States Championship: Rene Dupree (w/FiFi) vs. John Cena
No shocker, this is the worse match of this feud. Mainly cause all Lumberjack matches suck, terribly predictable and overbooker af. This doesn't have that intensity that the previous match had, it more worked as a first time meeting. Rene throws worse chops that Shawn. And he's like the all time worse. Rene falls to the floor, so Rio makes out with cause, you know. that's his gimmick. Rene is back to being heel 101, with his basic ass heat on Cena it's really dull and boring, Cena doesn't sell his neck at all. Booker keeps taking cheap shots at Cena, as the other lumberjacks do nothing but either watch on or just pull him off. This is all bad. Cena wins I DON'T CARE! *1/2

WWE World Tag Team Champions: Chris Benoit & Edge vs. La Résistance
Benoit being out popped by La Résistance is crazy. IDK give a fuck if they're in Montreal and
La Résistance ARE now suddenly from here. Also, lol beating Hurricane and Rosey gives you a tag title shot. This is weirdly booked and i would say the crowd who are super hot have something to do with it, Edge/Benoit still work face but get BOOOOOO'ed everytime they do anything, while Résistance gets popped the whole time. You would think Slyvan was Hogan with the reaction he was getting, they work Ede's arm like everyone does, and just like with everyone else Edge's selling is great during the work but he just forgets about it as time goes along. Benoit's hot tag is fun, he hits the triple German suplexes on Conway but misses the Diving Headbutt. Résistance go for Au Revoir but Edge pulls him out as Benoit locks in the crossface, but somehow Conway holds on long enough for Sylvan to break it up as we go to a commercial. When we return, Benoit is being isolated, they target the neck and sometimes lower back. Benoit's great at bumping and flapping around like a fish out of water. Edge's hot tag is good, the match breaks down with everyone getting in. Edge accidentally Spears Benoit, allowing the Résistance to hit Au Revoir for the win. **3/4

La Résistance celebrates like, well King says like the Habs won the Stanly Cup cup.

Back from the break, La Resistance are now celebrating in the crowd.

Backstage: Todd Grisham interviews Randy Orton, Todd asks how he feels, knowing if Shelton wins tonight he gets a future title shot. Orton says he isn't happy, and it's not because of the match stipulation, it's because Shelton isn't in his league. And Shelton can't beat him on his best day. Todd shows the footage of Shelton pinning him in a tag match, as Orton yells it was a fluke and an accident.

Backstage: Uncle Eric and William Regal are talking, Eric says he won't let what happened last week, happen again. Eugene comes in, Eric says Eugene has become so popular and thanks him for that. Uncle Eric says Eugene has his 2nd match tonight. He makes Coach apologize to Eugene for all the bad stuff he's said to him in the past. He's a dick about it, so Eric tells him to go out to the ring and apologize correctly if he values his job.

Coachman is in the ring and brings out Eugene. Coach says he thought Eugene was a joke, but he's proven to everyone he's the real deal. He says he's surprised and was making a joke out of. Coach says as a man, he's here to say he's sorry. They shake hands. Coach then says Eugene has more friends than he thought, The Rock, Chris Benoit and all of these people are all his friends. Coach says he ran into someone who is also a friend and fan of him, earlier today..........KANE THEN COMES OUT! Coach says it's okay, Kane is his friend, KANE THEN OPENS HIS ARM ASKING FOR A HUG! They hug and hug again. But Coach hits Eugene from behind. Kane then acts like he's gonna fight Coach, but turns on Eugene instead. Coach then laughs all the way to the back.

Backstage: Eric and Coach laugh. Regal storms in and asks what the hell that was. Eric says to drop his tone or he'll be fired. He says he's had enough of Eugene embarrassing him and his show, and he'll end it tonight. He books Eugene in a match tonight, and if anyone interferes, they'll be fired on the spot, because it's Eugene vs. Kane.

Victoria vs. Jazz
YEAH, NO!

Randy Orton (w/Batista) vs. Shelton Benjamin (If Shelton wins he gets a future title match)
Really awesome opening few minutes or so, like really good, they show off their chemistry with quick pace counters and cool shit like that. LOOOOOOOOOOOL it takes Orton a good 40 seconds his first time to take off a turnbuckle, he then tells Batista to stall the ref and takes another 40 seconds to try again and he still can't get it off. HE FINALLY TAKES IT OFF AND IT TOOK A 90 SECONDS! Orton goes to send Shelton into the exposed steel but Shelton counters and they bump, head. Orton has this amazing far away look, he looks legit concussed. As the ref checks on both men, Batista sends Shelton into the exposed steel giving Orton control of the match. Batista kept interfering until he gets sent to the back, Orton begins getting super aggressive after that it's like he realizes his security blanket has been sent to the back so he starts killing Shelton with uppercuts and forearms/elbows. Shelton has a nice comeback, but sadly he doesn't sell the head or neck or even being sent into the exposed steel back first like 30 seconds ago. They go back and forth trading big moves, counters and great near falls. Shelton counters the RKO into a backslide, but Orton comes back with a thumb to the eye, he goes to leave and suckers Shelton in just to uppercut him. He rolls him back in, but Shelton recovers and hits the T-Bone Suplex for the win. **3/4

RAW DIVA SEARCH!

Backstage: Stacy is in the middle of a photo shoot when Todd comes in and asks how she feels about the Diva Search. She says she loves the idea and has gotten, friends, family, and others all to sign up. In an unexpected amazing kinda dickish heel moment Todd says "Yeah, that's great...BUT WHAT DOES A DIVA DO?" Stacy says they do photo shoots all over the world and stuff.

Triple H comes down to the ring, looking flashy af in this grey suit, but he's not wearing a shit. Just a black tee underneath. He black sunglasses look trash tho. Hunter says you can all stop looking in the crowd or up the ramp for the sneak attack cause Shawn isn't here tonight. He says Eric has banned Shawn from the arena tonight, damn no Shawn in Montreal SMH! Hunter says he's upset too cause he would have finished it tonight. He says one of the greatest rivalries in the history of wrestling is going to end at Bad Blood. He says it's all gonna end inside Hell in a Cell.

WWE Euro tour highlights.

The Highlight Reel is set up in the ring, JR says he thought Jericho wasn't here this week due to the powerbomb through the table... Trish Stratus & Tyson Tomko come out instead, with Trish mock doing Jericho's entrance. Trish calls everyone in the crowd frogs and says she can't understand the "SLUT" chant cause they must be speaking French. She then sends a shoutout to Christian at home She says you may be wondering why she is lowering herself to hosting the tacky Highlight Reel, but the reason is why is she has a highlight. She rolls the footage of the powerbomb from last week on the Stratustron 5000. She then imitates JR "BY GAWD DAT DARN JAZABELLE AND PROBLEM SOLOVA DON BROKE YA'LL TABLE, BY GAWD, BY GAWD" She goes to show the footage again, but Jericho comes out. He gets the better of Tomko cause lol Tomko, he goes to lock Trish into the Walls but Tomko kicks him in the face. He rips Jericho's shirt off exposing his bandaged up ribs. Tomko then drops Jericho onto one of the chairs before having Trish sit on the chair which is on top of Jericho's hurt ribs.

KANE IS IN A DARK ROOM!

Kane vs. Eugene
So, yeah, Eugene embarrasses Kane on the mat to start. Like gets him down with ease off simple ankle takedowns. Kane gets frustrated at not being able to put Eugene down so he tries to get the count out victory lol. That doesn't work so Kane resorts to chokes and breaking on 5 like he wants to be DQ'ed. Shit is hilarious. Eugene debuts the RETARDAMANIA HULK COMEBACK! He looks like he about to win so Kane brings a chair in and shoves the ref for the DQ. Eugene then fights back and Eugene hits a DDT on the chair.

Eugene celebrates but Kane boots him in the face. He then hits the chokeslam, Kane then places the chair flat and goes for the tombstone but Chris Benoit runs down for the save. BENOIT HAS TROUBLE PUTTING KANE IN THE CROSSFACE! And Kane powers out WTF?!!?! So Benoit grabs the chair and chases Benoit off.

Poor Benoit.

Recap of the Dudleyz kidnapping Paul Bearer from last week.

Tonight: Taker vs. Booker, Eddie in action & Bikini Contest (Torrie, Dawn, Jackie & THE RETURNING SABLE)

Booker T comes down to the ring, Booker says he doesn't have to justify himself to the deadman or you people. He says he had nothing to do with what happened to Paul Bearer last week, it doesn't matter because he's still gonna beat him with or without Paul. Booker says Taker was probably the one who ordered the kidnapping last week, just so he can have an excuse ready. He says tonight he will get the job done, Cena the comes out. He tells Booker to pump the breaks, and asks why he beat him like he owed him money last week? Cena asks if they have an issue and if so, to settle it right now. Booker says it was just business and says he feels bad for him. The people came here to see him beat up the deadman, Booker then mocks Cena's "YOU CAN'T SEE ME" and says Cena is nothing more than a Booker wannabe. Cena then mocks Bookers voice and spin-a-rooni with some terrible none funny poop line. They go nose-to-nose, but Luther comes out pushing Cena down to ringside. Kurt says Cena has no respect for authority and no class. He says Cena will not jeopardize his main event. Kurt tells Cena to get his things and leave the building, but Cena refuses. So. Booker attacks him from behind, they brawl around ringside for a bit. Booker slams Cena's head into the steps who bumps into Kurt who falls out of his chair. Booker then grabs a chair and goes to hit Cena, but he avoids and Booker hits Kurt in the injured knee. Booker leaves and Kurt is furious, he grabs the mic and says he can't wait to tell the Board about this and have Cena stripped of the title, but for now, he demands that he get off of his show.

Eddie Guererro vs. Danny Basham (w/Doug Basham)
Fine Eddie showcase, funny moment is Doug gets involved and does the Eddie taunt, so Eddie doesn't hit him, instead grabs the chair and throws it at Doug, framing him like he was about to get hit. Ref then sends Doug to the back. Danny locks on this god awful looking cravat it's his attempt to work the neck, it looks so bad. Eddie doesn't even sell it, Eddie does his usual comeback, but the ref gets bumped. Danny then grabs the title, he goes to hit Eddie with it but, Eddie blocks with a low blow followed by a title shot to the head before faking being out. AS COLE STUPIDLY SAYS DID EDDIE COLLAPSE AGAIN! FAM! Nothing about this one looks like what happened 2 weeks ago, you moron. Anyway, Eddie "recovers" and hits the Frog Splash for the win. **1/2

SummerSlam press conference, which takes place here in Toronto, Canada

Mordecai comes out, he says all mighty father, I kneel in this ring, in the cesspool of a country. In a city where the kids are nothing but spoilt brats, and the woman are no better than the harlots that sell themselves in the streets. Weak minded men are cowardly, FATHER, you forgive them. Backstage: Miss Jackie is getting ready, she shows Rico and Haas. They like.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Funaki vs. Chavo Guererro Classic (w/Chavo Guererro Jr.)
Classic continues to be the 3rd best thing about the show. This goes about 3 minutes or so, Chavo Classic takes some great dad bumps, along with running the ropes headlock which looks like it was going in slow motion Jr. joins commentary and claims he's classic lite. All the flavor and half the fat Funaki gets the upper hand so Jr. jumps off commentary and shoves him off the top allowing Classic to cover for the win.

After the match; 4 women hop the rails and celebrate with CLASSIC! He stuts with them to the back cause CHAVO CLASSIC IS GOD!

Backstage: Chavo along with Jr. and the woman are hanging out, Classic bosts to his son about being a sex symbol and a stud. To which Jr says he agrees, he then leaves and Classic pays them off. FUCK YEAH! He then gives one some extra cash to meet him later.

Jamie Noble MC's the bikini contest. In which HOLY SHIT! I didn't know Sable was still around at this time. It's Torrie, Sable, Dawn, and Miss Jackie. In a shocker, Miss Jackie wins, because she just dropped water on herself. SMH! Torrie clearly bodied these bitches. Dawn did look smoking hot tho.

KENZO SUZUKI: NEXT WEEK!


Rene Dupree (w/FiFi) vs. Rey Mysterio
This is short, but what they did was cool. Rey targets Rene's legs with like two kicks trying to kick out, it's not much but FUCKIN' RENE SELLS IT LIKE IT'S BEEN WORKED ON FOR 5 MINUTES STRAIGHT. He even sells it for the whole match, THE MOTHERFUCKER EVEN SELLS IT DURING THE FRENCH TICKLER! AWESOME! Anyway, Rey uses his speed to roll him up for the win. **1/4

RAW REBOUND!

John Bradshaw Layfield comes down to the ring, he has a Bullrope in his hand. He says I'm from America you treat me with a little respect. He says the only reason he isn't WWE champion, is because Eddie is a lying, cheating coward. He says Eddie got himself DQ'ed. Af first this was just business, but now it's personal. And I LIKE IT! He says his stipulation at GAB is a match where Eddie cannot run, hide, or get disqualified because there's no DQ. It's a match personal to him because it's a match he grew up watching, a Texas Bullrope Match. He says Judgment Day will be a walk in the park compared to this, he says it's so simple even you simple minded Canada's could get it. and the crowd boos, so JBL says that America protects them, so they should treat him with respect. JBL goes over all the types of ways he can win, He promises a clear winner and loser this time and it's his DESTINY! to be WWE CHAMPION!

Booker T vs. The Undertaker
A little better than the Jugement Day match, mainly because it doesn't involve that hilarious special pouch gimmick. Allowing Booker just to be Booker, and Taker seems like he's getting his wrestling legs again. He looks much quicker and smoother than he did at the PPV or the Maina match, he hits all his usual opening stuff including awesome punches, which he probably will never lose. He works Booker arm, softening him up for old school. but Booker counters by kicking the ropes and Taker takes this awesome bump to the floor. Sadly, Booker doesn't work the knee or the lower back, he kinda just uses rest holds and stuff until Taker makes his comeback. He hits the Chokeslam and Paul Heyman comes out and the match just kinda ends.

Paul Heyman says he coming to the ring to confront him, he says when he motivated the Dudleyz he didn't know they would go that far and he's impressed. Taker grabs him by the throat. The Dudleyz appear on the tron, Bubba says if he ever wants to see Paul Bearer again he should listen to Heyman. He lets Heyman go and Paul says, he giving Taker 1 WEEK! TO JOIN HIM! JOIN THEM! He says all 4 of them together will be unstoppable.
