WrestlingSmarks November Update

Hey Everyone,

As you can see there has already been a change to the Weekly update, it is now a monthly Update! It was decided that rather than just repeating myself ad nauseum each week a monthly update makes a lot more sense.

Happy 1st Anniversary
Believe it or not but it has been a year to the day that TheWrestleClub and WrestlingSmarks merged. It has been a great year and here is to many more great years!

Entertainment Tournament
With the continued success of the wrestling tournaments it was decided to expand the Tournament section but this time for non-wrestling topics whether they be Movies, TV shows, Books, Video Games, Albums etc. The first Entertainment Tournament is for the Greatest Movie Ever. Be sure to head to the section to vote for your favourites and to also discuss what you want to see as the next tournament.

Wrestling Tournament
The Greatest Womens Wrestler of All Time is nearing the finish but don't fear as the next tournament has already been announced. Tournament 11 will be the Greatest Promo Men and Women so head to that thread and nominate your favourites.

Wrestler Of The Week
Wrestler of the Week is still going strong and the latest wrestler profiled is The Sandman. Each week, on monday, staff will post a thread for a wrestler, past or present, that we think would be an interesting subject to discuss, members can then discuss everything about that wrestler's career. If you have any suggestions for who you want to be WOTW then head to THIS THREAD.

Live Discussions
Each week on WS we have our live discussions mainly for RAW and Impact. The more members getting involved the better as it makes the thread that much more fun. RAW has been great the past few weeks but TNA fans don't forget about Impact. We really want to get that going each week so if you watch Impact head to the live thread and leave your thoughts on the show as it happens.

PPV on WS
This is a big month for PPV on WS as WWE are running Survivor Series, TNA have Turning Point and there will also be UFC 154

Awards
The polls for the October WS Awards have been posted so be sure to head over to the Awards section to cast your votes on who you think deserve the awards.

Credits
Unfortunately due to a glitch in the system credits had to be reset. We are trying to put some safeguards in place to ensure it doesn't happen again.

I can't give you reps for some reason, so I'll post it here: KUDOS on creating the Entertainment Tournament! If it doesn't die out, it should be a great addition to the site! Hopefully people can keep it active enough for it to stick around, although I'm not holding out much hope...

I can't take any credit at all for the Entertainment Tournament section, that was devised by a few other members of staff. We will ensure that this section not only survives but thrives and becomes another great addition to the forum.

I want to take full credit for this Entertainment Tournament simply because I am awesome. But in all honesty, I think we need more Live Discussion for sports and stuff. Also when you say credits are to be reset, what does that mean? We start at 0 again?

We have live discussions for sports all the time, just check the respective thread for that sport. And yes, credits will be resent to 0 because of someone who I won't name but it rhymes with Poptimus Imetime.

Everyone of you that aren't PHX Breakaway or slim should thank me for the insaneness in the credits now you have a chance for your credits to mean something... Um to look like your better than them. Till next week when the win it all back.

I try my best to be around for sports. Plus it would probably bring more activity.
