Well folks, the time has arrived and now, without further delay, your inaugural Pulse Hall of Fame class. Before I begin with the entrants though, I'd like to take a quick opportunity to thank everyone who voted and that I'm sure everyone who made it in thanks you as well. So now with that out of the way, here we go....
The illustrious owner here, it's hard to imagine Pulse without him since, well since there wouldn't BE a Pulse without him. Beginning with TDB, Brandon has busted his ass to keep this place afloat and even the great purge wasn't enough to stop him. Besides his love of all things wrestling and teen drama, he's also Michael McGillicuty's evil twin, a huge fan of the Alien and Halloween franchises (one of the few and proud that ranks Halloween IV as his favourite) and apparently he's got a huge dick. Well I've only heard that, you'd have to ask Wang Chung for the pictures since that's his department. Anyways, I'm sure everyone will be happy to welcome Fuje Vise into the Hall of Fame, a place he more than deserves to be.
It's hard to write things about yourself so instead I think I'll just list off a few of my exploits. First of all, I once vanquished a dragon with nothing more than a toothpick and some lint from The Viper's pocket. Second, I'm the guy who built Stonehenge AND made the crop circles...because I just love fucking around with Britain. Third, not many people know this one but I've had a sex sandwich with Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana...twice. Finally, I am the only person I'm aware of that owns multiple Mogwai that have never been accidentally fed after midnight...wait, what time is it? All joking aside though, I'd like to take a quick moment to thank everyone who voted for me and say that without you, Pulse just wouldn't be the same. Awwww.
From his humble beginnings as Johnny Depp's understudy on 21 Jump Street through to his star turn in Rimjobber Grannies 17, Jake has always walked to the beat of his own drum. From the start it was clear that he was going to be a star over here, from his outstanding graphics work to his incredibly awesome list threads. In fact, I'm pretty sure tha the top comedic villains of all-time thread is still one of the most viewed around here, and for good reason too. He was also part of the great Kandi meltdown which resulted in perhaps the single greatest night here at Pulse and even though that thread bit the dust, we'll always have the memories. Please welcome my good friend and yours, Booty, to the Pulse Hall of Fame!
I honestly don't even know who this guy is, so I was pretty shocked when I saw how many votes he got. Upon careful research I realized that he's been one of the most indispensable members on this site from the time he arrived, always willing to lend a hand or have a friendly chat with everyone. He's also one of the most positive people around, a big fan of The Rock and of wrestlers who wear masks. In fact, I just found out that he once stalked Frightmare for a whole month before he realized he liked Hallowicked better. All joking aside, I've been a big fan of Dave's and am glad that he's received this honour, few are as deserving. For all the hard work and dedication he's put into this place, it's time to give it back in spades so give a big hand to Terry Tate as he runs off into the sunset, ready to take first place in the greatest marathon of all.
Even though he hasn't been around for quite some time, I think this nomination is a testament to how good a member Troy was. In a world where it's almost always "flavour of the month", his lingering presence is amazing and pretty unique. Troy was kind of a jack of all trades, always capable of commenting on everything from wrestling to movies to porn (well, mostly porn). He's also a SB master who never fails to have something hilarious to add in that area. Finally, he's just another good friend that I'm proud to know and even though he's not here that much, I hope that will change in the future. After all, I still owe him a few of my nude pics and I know he'll come around to see those! Troy, you rule and I'm sure everyone here will welcome you to the Hall of Fame with open arms and a finger up the butt.
Finally, our resident indy expert and sometimes guardian angel, Castiel...who is also known as The Second David. A completely agreeable person who always has a good thing to say about others and arguably the best damn moderator we've ever had here on Pulse. He's also a huge fan of PWG and Chikara so even if he killed my mother with a rusty spoon I'd still count him among my closest friends! Seriously though, Cas has always been one of the best members here and one of my personal favourites as well. Personally I think his obsession with the guy who played Paul Bernardo in a movie is a little odd, but then I'm a little odd too so who cares right? Of all the members voted into the Hall of Fame, I think Castiel may in fact be the sexiest...which is saying a lot with this class. A big hand for Castiel, our final entrant into the first class of the Pulse Hall of Fame!!!
So there you have it, the entire class. I think at this point its important to note that this class will now be responsible for determining the next entrants into the Hall of Fame when we do this again, so it's probably the right time to start sucking up to us! Thanks again to everyone who participated in the voting and we'll see you again next year.
