Who are your favorite wrestlers in Japan or from Japan?

I am just getting into it, I would say Okada is a standout for me right now. I love his entrance, gimmick and finisher.

Sakuraba is a big favorite of mine as well but that is obviously because I am an MMA guy.

Don't really watch puroresu anymore, used to be fanatical about it during the J-Cup days and guys like Hayabusa, Liger, Ultimo, Kobashi when he wasn't just chops.

Checked out Tanahashi and just thought he was Cena with bad hair.

Huge Kawada fan, love the stiff kicks and the wars with MISAWA. Liger is another could watch him for days.

I use to be huge into marufuji until his offense became to flashy and gay. Oh and morishima but only when he was in ROH and was build as monster but after that and when he got even fatter I stopped caring.

Really liked KENTA and Marafuji during their stint in ROH a few years ago. Haven't seen much of their stuff outside of ROH, but I really enjoyed watching them.

Right now I'm a big fan of Kazuchika Okada. The guy is just such a good wrestler. No matter who he's facing or what type of match he's in, you're always guaranteed a good performance from him.

They stopped applyin' psychology to their matches in favor of just creatin' more flashy moves. I'd stick with KENTA/Danielson GBH V and that sort of stuff.

The main event between Okada and AJ Styles at Yokohama arena was pretty amazing.

I hope Jim Ross ends up announcing for New Japan like was rumored. I could see them developing a decent American audience.

Would probably have a bigger audience than ROH in America, and I guess they're still number 3.

G-1 tournament was probably more successful on iPPV than ROH was, and probably did more buys than a TNA PPV tbh.

I don't think they would be all that profitable going stateside, but could definitely make a few more bucks by getting an English commentator....Not sure JR would be a good fit, not exactly a fan of elbow exchanges and kicking sequences for no reason.

Even some shitty Indy commentator that overreacts to everything would be fine tbh, they don't need to spend a lot of money on someone to just speak English. It's just so much better to be able to understand the commentators than not. I'd prefer if they got someone good but anything is better than nothing and sometimes the shitty ones are fun to laugh at.
