My point is only ONE "report" has had ANY staying power... yet it's the ONE "report" that everyone wants to ignore or brush off... "because Cena doesn't just leave and he is burnt out and/or works as much as Punk ever did." Nobody can use that ONE report... even w/ Heyman saying "only 3 guys were in that room when he made the decision" ... he STILL said, "Punk is tired." Austin even said, "I'm sure the guy was exhausted" and Heyman chuckled in a "no shit, ya think!?" kinda fashion.

Yeah, Heyman dropped the bomb saying Punk wants a main event at Mania... but who the Hell doesn't? If you don't, why are you in the business?
Why is that the only report that has staying power? Is it because YOU want to believe that's the only reason he left? Everybody knows Punk is a whiny little bitch so why is it hard to believe that he also walked about because he wasn't happy about his spot at Mania?

This thread would be Punk's wet dream if he even knew about it.

Can we just let things drop until there is some concrete news on the guy.

What's wrong with discussion?

Sure he may have been tired, but it was mentioned before that he basically just walked out, he could have gone about it in a whole different way. How people can defend that shit is beyond me. You don't just walk out, especially if you signed a contract. He had a legal obligation the second he signed that thing.

It was "rumored" that he "just walked out" ... and that's exactly why Heyman always tells people, "Only Vince, Paul, and Phil know what happened that day." They could have met for an hour and come to an agreement to let him take his time for all anyone knows.

And we ALL know that Vince McMahon OF ALL PEOPLE would pursue legal settlement if Punk had a "legal obligation" to work out his entire contract and never do anything that the IWC thinks his contract doesn't allow.

Why is that the only report that has staying power?
It's the only one that comes up every time someone posts something "new" about the situation.

I think it's a bit of a work. Something happened and now it's just a work thats why that report keeps recurring. But I think the focus of this thread is now the gullibility that some people have when reading these reports. Which is sad.

I formerly wrote for one of these sites. I would either read someone elses reports, take email "tips", or just make shit up at random that seemed believable. So yeah these places are credible.
