Barclays Center: Brooklyn, New York

Biance Belair vs. Deonna Purrazzo
Belair showcase just her to reintroduce her to the fans and to see id Deonna has improved at all since the last time she made TV, spoilers she has but not much. She hits the burning hammer for the win.

Recap of Dream/EC3 airs.

Backstage: Cathy interviews The Dream, she asks what this moment means to him. He looks her up and down before putting the crown on her head and calls her Queen Cathy. He tells her to watch NXT TV this week and find out what this win meant to him.

Backstage: Mike Rome asks EC3 about the loss, he says Dream was the better man. And since his return, he's made some bold comments. He said he was here for victory, after victory after victory. Not victory, after victory, after loss after victory. The top 1% is a mindset win at all cost and yeah he lost, but it's not over. It's not ever until he wins. Rome brings up Black and asks if he saw anything. EC3 says it was dark, but he saw LARZ and said Black was the one that broke his jaw so maybe.......

Recap of the Tag Team Championships and the North American Championships matches air.

Backstage: Ricochet says this is 15 years of hard work, he told the world Adam Cole was running. Suddenly, Kyle and Roddy come over. But Dunne evens the oddes. Dunne says he's not his mate he's just holding a piece of gold he wants.

Recap of Shayna/Sane airs.

Backstage: Cathy is with the 4 Horsewoman, Shayna says Sane didn't beat her, she lost. She's the better fighter and walks off.

Recap of the World title match airs.

Dunne/Ricochet vs. Kyle/Strong NEXT WEEK!

United Kingdom Championship: Zack Gibson vs. Pete Dunne
They do their usual stuff, trade arm work, slaps, strikes and moves. No real structure or focus. Just go out and show New York they work strong style too. Bitter End ends it. **1/2

NXT Episode 315
August 29th, 2018 - HAPPY 27TH BIRTHDAY FAB!
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Backstage: Regal announces he's "officially" starting the investigation into who attacked Aleister Black

The show opens with Gargano limping out with a crutch, he makes his way down to the ring. He says you guys have always had his back, but he doesn't deserve it. He broke a promise and made a lot of mistakes. He lost, and failed and couldn't fix the mistakes he's made lately. He says he doesn't know where he goes from here. He says he lost more than the match, he lost himself and has done a lot of stupid things lately and has no idea what to do anymore. In Brooklyn he became something he isn't proud of, he became Ciampa. He's in my head, can't control it. He doesn't know what the people want. But he knows he has to be better for his family and for them. GM Regal comes out now, he says before Black burns this place down he needs to know did he attack him? Gargano says he's known him for a long time, look into his eyes and he'll know the answer :hm: but before Regal can, The Dream comes out. Dream says he's not in the mood for this. He's sick of listening to Johnny sing the same ol' song. This show shouldn't be about him, it should be about the "EXPERIENCE" It should be about the Velveteen Dream. Not Johnny Failer. Gargano says the docs gave him this crutch to take the weight off his knee for a few days but he's good to go right now AND THROWS THE CRUTCH RIGHT AT DREAMS HEAD :lmao Regal stops it and books a match for next week, but also tells Dream to go to his office NOW!

In the back, the Undisputed Era is preparing for their match, but Kyle is busy tuning his title up. MVP!

Dakota Kai vs. Aliyah
So according to Percy Aliyah's new gimmick is being a rich Canadian that since moving to the states her parents have cut her off, but she can still afford to have Versace attire. This is what it is, Aliyah is a way better heel then shit is a face, she can cover up not being that good buy just being aggressive with her wrestling 101 and the Full Sail losers will react to it. Plus Kail is a better bumper and seller so she makes all of it look way worse than it really is. Kail makes a comeback and hits the code red into a backstabber for the win. **

Backstage: GM Regal has finished interrogating Dream when the Aces & 8's rejects come in. They say they're glad they finally got his attention but it's a shame it took this to get it. They say they had nothing to do with Black's attack just look at the tape. Regal accepts their answer but books them for a match new week. UGH!

Backstage: EC3 is laid out, and that big pussy lars walks off (side-note I'm off the lars wagon since he's got cold feet and cost Cena another run)

Backstage: GM Regal is with Nikki Cross, he asks what she saw. She says she saw it AND KNOWS WHO DID IT! She keeps laughing but Belair comes in and says she's healthy and wants a title match. Cross asks to play too.

It's supposed to be Raul/EC3 but with EC3 laid out. Lars comes out onto the stage, he says unlike the Black situation he TOOK OUT EC3. When his name comes out of your he rips you limb from limb. As for Raul, you're in his territory and he destroys him.

Live via phone, Ciampa says peace and quiet. He says he made a promise a year ago when he left for ACL surgery. He promised when he made his return he would become the most dangerous SOB NXT has ever seen. Not only did he end Gargano's fairytale but captured the NXT title. You have to understand something, it takes a certain type of man to get to the top. But it takes an entirely different man to build his nest and stay at the top, and that's him. This is only the beginning. No one will survive what's next.

Keith Lee vs. Luke Menzies
Lee showcase, pop-up sitdown powerbomb ends it.

ONEY & BURCH RETURN IN 2 WEEKS :mark:

Ricochet & Pete Dunne vs. The Undisputed Era (Roderick Strong & Adam Cole w/Kyle O'Reilly)
Awesome opening 5 or so, super faced paced and hard hitting they all know one another at this point so they goe balls to the walls with the little matchups and it ruled. Ricochet has tunnel vision when it comes to getting his hands on Cole, so he doesn't see the blind tag which allows Roddy to sneak in the half nelson into the backbreaker giving UE control. They work the back of the head, neck, and spine, lots of double teams, it benefits that UE has known each other since what '09 so everything is so organic and it shows. Ricochet does his big avoid the 2-1 stuff and Dunne gets the hot tag, it's Dunne so it rules. He Explex's Cole onto Roddy for two, as the match breaks down, awesome Roddy/Dunne stuff happens. Late in the match, Ricochet accidentally takes Dunne out with a dive as Roddy pulls cole out of the way. Roddy takes Richochet out with the leaping knee, and Cole hits the last shot on Dunne for the win. **3/4

After the match, Kyle, Roddy, and Cole put the boots to Ricochet, but the WAR RAIDERS MAKE THE SAVE.

NXT Episode 316
tVmF89K.png

September 5th, 2018
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Kassius OhNo vs. Kona Reeves
Goes about a minute before OHNO KNOCKS HIM OUT! :mark:

Ohno says when he came back to NXT it had so much buzz until he wasn't, and he became an afterthought. It use to tear him up, but he gets it. Their's always gonna be someone NEW and fresh, and to whoever that guy is. Kassius Ohno isn't going anywhere and will be the first to welcome you to the back of the line. FUCK YEAH! WE ABOUT TO GET HEEL OHNO AGAIN!

The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake w/Jaxson Ryker) vs. The Street Profits
Sons are just NXT's version of Aces & 8's, Sanity lite without the chaos and gimmicky promos. This is fine you know, Cuter and Wes have been on TV since 2014 so they know what to do. But they're just so boring. This is also an angle match, so everything is filler until the ending. The might in ski masks come out and tries to steal Fords chains and leans, he pulls the mask off so he gets lariated for his troubles that allows the sons to hit a shitting knee drop/inverted DDT for the win. *

I really don't know what they are dong with SP's, I like them not the biggest Dawkins fan but he plays the sidekick role well. And it's obvious they're super over, like the most over team on the roster, but I don't know why they haven't been given a TakeOver or title match. They're probably the 4th or 5th best team in NXT. But yet they keep having them in these lower end feuds with the Mighty, and now putting over these losers who have apparently been teaming for a whole year yet this is their first tv match. Matches like this is why you have a job and not ready for TV guys. Plus lol Gunner being hired.

Backstage: GM Regal interrogates Heavy Machinery about the Black attack, OTIS ADMITS IT! He admits he was the one that broke the toilet at the PC after drinking too much coffee. Regal says it's about the Black attack, Tucker says they just saw Ciampa lurking around the bushes. Otis says he feels better and wants soda.

Recap of the tag match from last week airs.

After the show went off the air, Ricochet and Dunne argue about what happen. They both challenge one another to a match for the others title. Ricochet keeps calling him homeboy :lmao

DUNNE/RICOCHET - CHAMPION VS. CHAMPION - 2 WEEKS!

Kairi Sane comes out with a treasure chest on the stage, she opens it and the woman's title is inside :lmao

Kairi Sane vs. Trish Adora
Showcase for the new champ, insane elbow ends it.

Shayna comes out post-match and throws the chest down, she tells her to enjoy this while she can cause she's invoking her rematch and will hit her like a cannonball hits a shit. But tonight, time to see if this pirate can swim. SHE THEN DECKS HER. Sane fights back and gets the better sending Shayna to the floor.

Live via phone, Ciampa says why is it he hasn't been on TV since TakeOver? He doesn't have a #1 Contender with Black and Gargano gone he really is the last man standing. And to tell you the truth, he's sick and tired of hearing your opinions. He's not here to be the voice of the voiceless, and he realizes the entire world is listening to him, but also realizes a few of the people actually hear his message. Follow the lead of your NXT champion.

Backstage: Regal and Lars are talking, he says he's cleared to compete. Regal asks if he did it? Lars says his purpose WAS to locate Black, but by the time he found him, he was already laid out and saw the UE driving off. Regal books Lars/Raul next week :lmao

The Velveteen Dream vs. Johnny Gargano
Dream is again wearing the Gargano tee, but instead of wrestling, he taped the word "Failer" over it. Gargano has his knee taped up, this again rules. They have so much chemistry and with the slight role reversals, it's even better than the first. Gargano is broken so he's still angry and aggressive, and Dream bumps around for him. Gargano lets his emotions get the better of him, which allows Dream to hotshot him throat first onto the top rope to take over. Dream works over the neck, Percy claims he thinks Dream was the one that attacked Black over their past which makes no sense as Black said his name and they haven't crossed paths again since. Plus one thing about Dreams gimmick is he wants the spotlight so why do it in the back with no audience? Good Johnny comeback, it gets a ton of time before they start going back and forth trading near falls. They fight on the apron with Dream going for the DVD Bomb but Gargano counters into a sunset flip powerbomb attempt but Dream grabs the ropes and Gargano jams his knee on the floor. Dream quickly follows up by throwing him knees first into the steps and hitting the twisting spike DDT for two. Dream goes after the knee now but makes the mistake of again going for the purple rainmaker to the apron but misses that allows Gargano to lock in the escape on the floor. He breaks the count at 8 and Dream rolls in at 9. Gargano snaps again and goes to spike DDT him on the floor, but sees the "Johhny Wrestling" sign and he breaks down. Dream yells at him for being a disappointment, and bates him into pulling the kneepad down, he catches Johhny coming in and hits the DVDbomb for the big win. DREAM-OVER! Series is now tied 1-1, I'm looking forward to the rubber match come Mania weekend. ***1/4

After the match, the crowd is split with 45% chanting "Johnny Failer", 50% "Johnny Wrestling" 5% not doing a thing. THEN OUT OF NOWHERE THEY BEGIN SINGING "NA NA NA NA" :lmao HOLY SHIT HOW THE FANS TURN ON HIM ALREADY

NXT Episode 317
September 12th, 2018
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Outside the building, Ciampa arrives at Full Sail.

Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch vs. Adrian Jaoude & Cezar Bononi
Trips just discovered both Cezar and Adrian are from Brazil so he just throws them together :lmao Nice to have Oney and Burch back, and they waste no time getting back to their old ways of beating the shit out of people. God damn, I missed Oney's hot tag, they hit half and half finisher for the win.

CIAMPA DEBUTS THE NO ONE WILL SURVIVE THEME! He has probably the best visual effect of broken glass that shatters into millions of pieces. He says that music is a personal message to everyone, it's his way of saying in the most polite way SHUT UP! For the past month, he heard the whispers of people saying he did it. They base this off imagination. Think about it, when he wants to attack someone he wants an audience. And when he wants to attack someone he does it on the biggest stage possible (so we just supposed to forget him attack Black in the back the week before their title match?) He's not gonna lie to them, cause the champ never lies he had all the intentions of taking Black out but someone beat him to it. And he wants to know who? And when he finds out he will pat he/she on the back. Even if Black did make it to TakeOver the facts will remain the same. HE WINS! The title says "Thank you, Ciampa, it felt really good to be back in the main event of a TakeOver" :lmao Ciampa says he has one last thing to say if you want to be a winner and have success, follow his lead.

Violet Payne vs. Shayna Baszler
Awesome Shayna squash. She is the REAL baddest woman in wrestling.

She chokes her out post-match again, cause SHAYNA > YOU.

In the parking lot, Heavy Machinery is filming their investigation into who attacked Aleister Black. Tomato Champion remains their top suspect, and Ciampa walks up behind them. Otis Dozovic and the champ jaw while Tucker Knight films it. General Manager William Regal walks up and says we’re not doing this now. They can fight later, but right now, Ciampa’s been ducking his calls, so while he has him here, he needs to speak to him in his office.

Lars Sullivan vs. Raul Mendoza
Gets a lot more time than expected, it's fine but Raul isn't one of those high-level high flyers to do the David/Goliath story, so it drags in the middle with Lars just filling him. Freak accident ends it.

Earlier today, Pete Dunne says his mindset going into the match is fine, but what happens in the tag match was all Ricochet's fault. But he will take part of the blame, he got involved in this, but then again he's got a piece of Gold that he wants. Now he has a chance to walk out a double champ.

Backstage: Cathy interviews Ricochet, he says Pete knows he's been in high-pressure situations and he keeps coming out on top, Pete is another mountain to climb and it doesn't matter how long he's been champion he's gonna find out that I am not only the North American champion but the NEW United Kingdom champion too.

:lmao throws these smurfs back in the dumpsters

Backstage: GM Regal is finished interrogating NXT Woman's champion Kairi Sane when OhNo comes in, but Regals says he doesn't need to talk because Ohno vouched for him. Regal asks him about the perturbed look on his face during the vid, but Ohno says yeah, he is. He's been pushed to the side. He's watched everyone leapfrog him. He asks what it's gonna take to get back on his radar. He tells Regal he's waiting for the new shiny toy, BRO!

Bianca Belair vs. Nikki Cross
Angle stuff, Cross plays around and throws Belair off who just wants to fight or wrestle. BB is super over now, so that's nice. She does the deadlift spot but not from the ground like she did against Candice, cause Nikki's fat :side: But she misses the splash which allows Cross to make a comeback. They end up fighting on the floor and Belair busts out the hair whip spot out of desperation but Cross enjoyed it, she jumps on her back and they do the Vader/Cactus spot on the steel ramp with both of them getting counted out. **

Both woman continue to fight post-match until refs break it up to end the show.

NXT Episode 318
September 19th, 2018
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Dakota Kai & Deonna Purrazzo vs. Lacey Evans & Aliyah
So this is here because last week all 4 women got caught on videotape arguing about woman stuff I think IDK. Mauro claim all of these ladies are suspects in who attacked Black:lmao No respect for Black if Aliyah and her 112lb hotness was the one that took out Black :lmao This gets a good amount of time like 7 minutes, its fine nothing mindblowing but it isn't bad as well. Just here you know. Heels isolate Purrazzo for the majority, Kai has a decent hot tag she does her kick stuff. The match breaks down, the numbers catch up to Kai and Lacey hits the woman's right for the win. *3/4

Backstage: The Velveteen Dream talks to the media, he says he kept his momentum rolling from Brooklyn by beating Johnny Failer. Reporter brings up the Black attack, and Dream says he's not answering questions about people that are not the Dream.

WWE.com EXCLUSIVE! Belair calls Nikki crazy and says Nikki took her to a level she wasn't ready for, but she's not backing down. That's why she's UNDEFEATED! UN-DEF-EATED!

Humberto Carrillo vs. Jaxson Ryker
FUCKIN Gunner getting a showcase match in WWE in 2018, WHAT KIND OF WORLD IS THIS?

Backstage: Candice is talking to Regal about the attack, she says she saw nothing. But she does try to shift the blame to Ciampa. Regal says she's already spoken to Ciampa and there is no evidence against him. Regal brings up Gargano's whereabouts, she talks about what he did and he accepts it.

Keith Lee video package airs.

4vTJj6f.png

Champion vs. Champion Match: Ricochet vs. Pete Dunne (Winner Take All)
This has the big champion feel to it, both guys are over to the Full sail do the dual chants, and I know I shit on them 99% of the time, but they do know how to pump something up when needed. Awesome mat wrestling, game of chess to start Dunne goes after the arm but Ricochet plays his game and goes after the arm too, but he feels Dunne knows counters so he chooses to go after the legs instead. Dunne then shows him out by going after the leg too just to proove he can too before going back to the arm. Dunne quickly decks him with a forearm and they go into the more flips and strikes based match. Dope spot Dunne catches the ankle before Ricochet can go for the handstand spring move and kicks out his arm before going back to work on the hand, arm, and leg. Nigel references this to his match with Danielson back in 2006 :mark: Ricochet hits a big lariat and makes a comeback, but Dunne hits the step up kick, he goes for the ExPlex but Ricochet lands on his feet and hits the standing SSP for two. The match moves into the move big counter, counters big move or strike stuff. It's really good. I like that Dunne keeps finding his way back to hurting the hand, in hopes it stops Ricochet from hitting a springboard move. But that would require some all-time selling and that's not Ricochet. He does a couple of arm and hand shakes to shake the pain, but that's about it. Another awesome spot, Dunne has the running moonsault to the floor scouted and drills a forearm to Ricochet when he lands on his feet, he quickly follows up with the ExPlex on the apron. But when he rolls Ricochet back in, he counters the electric chair into an inverted 'rana for two. More strikes leading to big moves for near falls happen, Ricochet goes for the 630 but Dunne cuts him off ad they fight up top. BUT RICOCHET HITS A SUPER FRANKINSTENINER FOLLOWED BY BIG KICK AND A FLATLINER But Dunne kicks out at two. 450 gets blocked into the triangle choke, but Ricochet hits the sit-down powerbomb to break it but Dunne grabs the injured hand and does the finger breaker before locking in the Kimora. But again, Ricochet shows up his power by getting to his feet and switching it to a brainbuster to break the hold. They trade strikes BUT THE UNDISPUTED ERA RUNS DOWN AND ATTACKS BOTH MEN FOR THE NO CONTEST! ***1/2

iE5rvAX.gif

War Raiders make the save and chase them to the back, as Ricochet and Dunne get up slowly to end the show.

Having a "winner take all" stipulation for a tv match may as well have a "fuckery afoot" stamped over it.

NXT Episode 319
September 26th, 2018
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

GM Regal comes down to the ring to open the show, he says starts talking but the Undisputed Era comes out onto the stage. Cole says week after week, Regal comes out here and continues to play sherlock holmes instead of doing his job. Black was put out weeks ago, and that's on Regal but that's also the past. He needs to make sure it doesn't happen again. Roddy asks when is he gonna handle the War Raiders as YOUR tag team champions shouldn't worry about some cosplay Vikings attacking them. Kyle says he feels unsafe. Cole says Black isn't here, and they don't like him. Regal says begins to question them, and Cole cuts him off again and says he knows what he's doing. He's trying to change the subject. He says Ricochet has been ducking him, and he gave Pete Dunne a title match over him. Cole says he wants his rematch right freakin now. Regal brings up last week, and Cole tells him to tread carefully so Regal says he won't be getting a match right away. But in 2 weeks he will have his match for the North American champion in a triple threat match with Pete Dunne. Oh, and in 3 weeks it will be Kyle/Roddy vs. War Raiders for the tag titles.

Earlier Today, Gargano talks to the cameras. He says he's excited to be back in action next week. And he finally has something to fight for. Reporter asks why he apologized after the Dream match. He says he has always been open with the fans, that him saying sorry about not being the man he told them he wanted to be, so that's why he went home. Cleared his head and for the first time in a long time, his head is right. He's sick of running around, whining, crying and complaining. It's not who he is and next week he will be the man who he always meant to be. Lacey comes over and calls he and Candice failers. Lacey calls her unladylike by not standing by her husband's side.

In the back, Queen Cathy stalks Dream for an interview. He says he's done talking, he then implies it was Ciampa that attacked Black. Cathy asks him to repeat himself and he says "THE DREAM IS NOT A SNITCH"

Lars Sullivan vs. Victor Orchant
Showcase for Big anxiety until EC3 makes his return and attacks Lars.

Backstage: Nikki Cross tells Regal she needs to play with Belair again, and begins yelling "I KNOW"

The Mighty vs. The Street Profits
NOPE! Not doing this again, especially when those TM smurfs win again. fuckoff.

Vanessa Borne vs. Kairi Sane
A solid showcase for the champ, Insane elbow ends it.

Shayna comes out post-match, she tells Kairi to celebrate with her title now, cause it won't last. She says Sane won in Brooklyn and that one hurt. Because she's invoking her rematch, and she promises to drown her before taking back her title. Kairi says she can have her match @ WWE Evolution.

Backstage: Kona and Keith talk, it leads to a match either next week or 2 weeks.

Otis Dozovic vs. Tommaso Ciampa
Really good champion vs. monster match, Ciampa busts out his main event big bumping really making Otis look unstoppable. Ciampa weather the storm early on, before slamming the back of Otis' head and back off the steel ramp and begins to go to work. Ciampa uses the big knee, but more importantly the knee with the knee brace to break Otis down. Otis has a fun powerhouse comeback, Ciampa tries to leave but Tucker comes out onto the stage to stop him. That allows Otis to throw him back into the ring. He hits his finishing sequence, but Ciampa leaves before he can hit the big splash. BUT OTIS T-BONE SUPLEXES HIM ON THE FLOOR and drops the big elbow in the ring for two. Powerbomb is blocked, and Ciampa hides behind the female ref :lmao Champ goes to the eyes but can't hit the DDT, so Otis hits a sitdown powerbomb for two. Otis makes his first big mistake of the match by going to the top but Ciampa rolls to the apron and hits him with the spike DDT to the apron, he then pulls Otis in and DDT's him again for the win. Good shit. **3/4

It was a wrap when he brought out the worm.

Still....can live off a comedy gimmick with an over move for a few years and milk the indies even longer with that.

It was a wrap when he brought out the worm.

Still....can live off a comedy gimmick with an over move for a few years and milk the indies even longer with that.

Its the Caterpillar :side:

NXT Episode 320
October 3rd, 2018
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Backstage: Nikki Cross is a some vented hallway full of smoke, she says games are fun. She and Bianca had fun, and they get to do it again. She just hopes she isn't afraid. Speaking of bad behavior. I KNOW!

Candice LeRae vs. Lacey Evans
This is cool I guess, Lacey is solid again and Candice bumps around for her. Match ends when Lacey counters the unprettier and calls her a loser like her husband, that causes Candice to snap and lose focus which allows Lacey to KO her with the Woman's-Right for the win. *3/4

Video package hyping up Cole/Dunne/Ricochet 3-way.

Live via Mobilephone, Ciampa says while you're at the top someone will always try to knock you down. They will lie, speculate all to try to steal that spotlight. Perhaps it's to cover their own tracks, your name is fitting. Velveteen Dream, Dream you live in a dream world if you think I attacked Black. But you and I both know what it is, Aleister both experienced. My advice to you is, be careful, keep your theories to yourself and stay out of the champs spotlight.

Cezar Rise, Terry Kirsh & Vinny Mixon vs. The Forgotten Sons
HAHAHAHAHAHA FUCK OFF!

Video package airs on Shayna training for her woman's title match.

Backstage: Cathy interviews Tony Nese, she asks what brings him to NXT. He says NXT has some of the top competition in the world, and he already dominates 205 so it's time for him to "TAKEOVER"

Backstage: Cathy asks Belair about Cross' comments she says she's not here for games, she's here for the title. But if she wants she will run through her and remain UN-DEF-EATED!

Johnny Gargano vs. Tony Nese
This is a blast, Johhny really excels at that fast-paced counter wrestling into setting up big spots. And Nese has gotten a lot better since what he was early in the year, he does a fantastic job being the bigger of the two and using that against Gargano here. The only thing Tony really lacks is focus during his control like it was very ordinary and boring when he's not doing the flashy stuff. Gargano has the slingshot cape 'rana scouted and hits his slingshot DDT to make a comeback, he hits all his stuff but nothing works. Nasty bump Gargano takes off the one-armed buckle bomb into the corner. Then Nese hits a fuckin Fonzsbury flop to the floor, he rolls Gargano in and hits a 450 but Gargano kicks out. Sadly they ruin everything after Gargano gets German'ed into the corner turnbuckles but no sells it for a superkick, lariat, and locks in the escape for the win. Everything was going great until that fuckery happens to end the match. **3/4

A really awesome video package on how the Oney/Burch tag team became a thing.

Lars Sullivan vs. EC3
This is fairly decent, EC3 charges before the bel and takes the fight to Lars early. He sends him back first into the ring steps 3 times and Lars gets this nasty gash on his back. EC3 gets the most offense in against Lars but Lars whether all the flurries and hits the Freak Accident on the apron and hits a diving headbutt off the top for the win. **1/4

NXT Episode 321
October 10th, 2018
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

THE NXT WORLD CHAMPION comes down to the ring, he says the greatest sports entertainer of all time now has the greatest entrance music of all time. Do you want to know what the icing on the cake is? it has bought silence to the sheep. But in every flock, there's one who craves attention and needs to be different. Velveteen Dream. Dream you have the champ's attention, but you've gone about it the wrong way. Suddenly, Dream comes out onto the stage. He says all of this is amusing especially about him being the greatest sports entertainer of all time. The Dream doesn't appreciate his little threats, and he believes he speaks like that because the champs thinks he's a bad, bad man. But the Dream believes the title deserves a true experience and not a guilt trip from an angry bald man hiding behind his insecurities. Ciampa says he maybe that, but he's also the man with a shiny title belt, he gets it. The Dream wants what the champ has. He wants the main event, spotlight and HIS NXT title. And if they're being honest he doesn't even believe that the Dream believes he attacked Black. But seeing how everyone is listening just admit......THE TITLE SAYS MAYBE YOU'RE JUST NOT TOUGH ENOUGH :lmao Dream says to trust him he is and man enough, more man than he can handle and if he wants to find out just give Dream a moment with him and the title. Nikki Cross then comes out, she does her little crazy routine as the crowd chant triple threat :lmao She smacks Dream on the nose and says "she knows what he did" then goes over Ciampa and goes to talk to the title. She smacks the mic out of Ciampa's and begins yelling "SHE KNOWS" Dream leaves, and she kicks the mic away from Ciampa before leaving.

Keith Lee vs. Kona Reeves
Kona has fully transformed into super douchbag #1 with this blonde man bun and gold jacket. I'm also willing to move his theme to top 7 in NXT history. Shit goes hard. Standard Keith showcase at this point, Kona stay looking flabby and shit. SuperNova ends it for Keith.

Another video package airs on Shayna's training for Evolution

Earlier Today, Kairi talks to the media about how excited she is for Evolution. She says she's not worried about Shayna's new training, and Shayna knows she will beat her again.

Backstage: GM Regal says he needs answers from Cross, Ohno then comes over and says Regal doesn't think he's a threat, he asks Regal when the next toy is coming? He says Regal must not know what he's about and his new bromance might be the one that took Black out. Cross then comes over and tells Ohno, she knows what he did.

A video package airs for Undisputed/War Raiders, tag team titles match next week.

Belair/Cross II Next Week.

North America Championship: Adam Cole vs. Pete Dunne vs. Ricochet
Ricochet and Dunne team up early to attack cole, but lasts all of 3 seconds before they argue about who gets more punches in which allows Cole to shove Dunne into Ricochet breaking that up. Super fast paced, to start but then they settle into the more tradition 3-way formula with one-on-one in the ring as the 3rd man sells on the floor. I'm not totally mad at is, as all 3 pairings was a good time for the couple of minutes it got. Eventually, we get some 3 man stuff like Dunne locking in a double half-Boston crab, all 3 men trading forearms. Amazing spot Ricochet goes for the springboard moonsault but Dunne and Cole team up and hit double superkicks out of mid-air. Late in the match, Dunne hits the ExPlex into a powerbomb but Cole breaks it up, he then heads up top but Cole cuts him off. Ricochet also joins in and hits a double Frankensteiner off the top, he follows up with a sloppy reverse spike rana and flatliner to Dunne but he kicks out. Dunne hits the bitter end to Cole, but he sees Ricochet coming off the top with the SSP and catches him in the triangle choke with finger assisted pain. But Cole breaks it up with a superkick to Dunne, Last shot to Ricochet sending him to the floor and the suplex/neckbreaker to Dunne but he again kicks out. Dunne blocks the superkick and hits the bitter end, but as he covers Ricochet hits the 450 on top of him and covers for the win. **3/4

NXT Episode 322
October 17th, 2018
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

NXT World Tag Team Championships: War Raiders vs. The Undisputed Era
Super dope, UE use the old Revival formula where they get their asses kicked one one one, so they keep trying illegal run ins and double teams to get control but it keeps backfiring. Raiders control the opening 5-6 minutes and just destroys both Kyle and Roddy which bump on everything, but from the floor, Roddy chop blocks Rowe's knee and they go to work. Good UE control as usual, but they also lose focus when it comes to the knee and sacrifice it for strikes instead at times. again, I black Kyle for that. But when they do work the knee it's super brutal with holds and dragon whip. Tremendous Hanson hot tag, dude gonna be a great destroyer if they ever turn him heel and give him the monster brawler gimmick. The match breaks down and the Raiders hit doomsday but Cole runs down, but Hanson takes care of him, that allows UE to get back into it with a 7 combo double team and Roddy hitting the Angle slam for two. Kyle locks in the heel hook but Handon suplexes Roddy onto Kyle to break it up. Raiders hit the double team assisted power slam and Hanson hits a no hands plancha taking out Cole and Roddy on the floor. They hit Kyle with the sidewalk slam/stomp but FISH MAKES HIS RETURN AND HITS THEM THE BACK WITH A CHAIR FOR THE DQ. **3/4

After the match, Final Form UE beat them down and stand tall. SHOCK THE SYSTEM!

Britt Baker vs. Shayna Baszler
Complete Annihilation. Ref calls for the bell after the arm stomp claims another victim.

Backstage: GM Regal says Black is coming back soon and he needs answers.

Bing & Rocky vs. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch
Bing and Rocky are some generic Chinese wrestler with Chinese music too cause racial stereotypes are still going strong brother. I guess the story is Oney is still rusty since being out of action since Chicago so it allows the Chinese guys to do some not so impressive stuff for a minute before Burch gets the hot tag. wheelbarrow implant DDT ends it. It seemed Oney and Burch held back their striking :(

Bianca Belair vs. Nikki Cross
Another good one between them here, both girls get their shit in and look strong as their the only other females over on the roster behind Kairi and the GOAT herself Shayna. Belair hits a killer forearm towards the end, she also does this awesome deadlift powerbomb for two and for the first time since her rebrand shows signs of frustration. She keeps pie-facing and telling Nikki to stay down, which Nikki loves and makes her want to fight even more. She then press slams Nikki and does squats while doing so, but Cross slips out and hits a dragon sleeper into the inverted DDT for two. Hair whip connects as both women fight up top and Cross hits a superplex. THE LIGHTS GO OUT! AND ALEISTER BLACKS' MUSIC HITS HE THEN APPEARS IN THE RING! Belair is gone so I guess the match is over. **1/2

Cross then crawls over to Black who is sitting Indian style, he asks her to tell him and she whispers something in his ear. He then does his best 2009 angry trips shaking facial reaction to end the show.
