And by "at his best" you mean being an unprofessional dick who tried to ruin a major drawing match because he wasn't going to win the first of what was supposed to be three matches? Than yeah....VINTAGE HBK!!! Who knew a skunk couldn't paint ever his stripes.

Hogan was working his ass off, while the other guy was just making the match look cartoonish by overselling and taking stupid bumps because he "lost his smile"....favorite part of that match was Hogan just making Shawn Michaels wait an eternity for that legdrop.

I think he meant more of the actual feud, not the match. HBK was a great heel for that month with the obvious standout being the Canada promo.

Oh that weird Larry King skit HBK and Trips pitched that was just nothing more than a burial of Hogan? Also, using Bret Hart to further your heat was cheap, no wonder Bret didn't want HBK around the HOF ceremony and didn't show up at Mania.

Someone was disappointed when Bret didn't show up on RAW :adr: But come one Michaels was heel in Montreal, was he not supposed to use Bret to further his heat? And that pop when his music hit was godly.

I agree with you about HBK personally and about the match and disagree with Keith that he carried the feud, but his heel stuff was pretty entertaining that month. The only bad part about it was just that him turning heel didn't make any sense whatsoever, but the actual heel stuff he did was great.

Didn't have to drudge the screwjob for the billionth time.....Hogan was and still is over as fuck in Montreal, lambasting him and that audience just for that 10 minute standing ovation for Hogan in 02 was enough.

I just don't see how it hurt anything. Oh well, you didn't like the promo, I did and loved the pop for Bret's music. To each his own.

Well me and deezy certainly remember that feud/match differently:lmao

I go along with Chris about his work as a heel during the whole thing along with some of the promos and segments, and even think he did a pretty good job in the match itself considering Hogan was way past his best at that point. 2005 onwards was the peak of HBK's career.

Wait, you don't remember all the annoying overselling in the match? It was pretty terrible, but I actually don't mind the match so much and find it fun to watch, but it would have been better if HBK took it seriously.

HBK has always been a shitty over the top seller just like The Rock and Ziggler. This match was funny as fuck.

Deezy is just nerdraging because his boy Butt Hurt is a crippled vanilla midget who got carried every match against HBK.
