Serena has been released by WWE, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com. WWE has yet to confirm the news.

Powell's POV: There were rumblings late Monday afternoon that she had been released. No word yet on what led to the company letting her go.

What the fuck? If this is true, this completely fucks him up the straightedge society storyline and while I can't really speak for her wrestling skills, she is apart of the straightedge society now and shes still bangable.

Bit dumb given, stroyline-wise, they had the perfect opportunity to release her a few weeks back when she was caught drinking by Punk.

It's just plain stupid. There are reports that she apparently enjoys to drink a lot in reality. They could have just had SES drop her because of her problem and then that would free her up to add competition to the fail Diva roster.

In the end, firing someone for what they do outside of work is lame. She likes to drink, OMG WOW. If she shows up to work and is skunked, sure, you have legit means for firing, but if she enjoys to party but comes to work and isn't drunk, I don't see a problem here. It's a fucking gimmick, she doesn't have to keep it up 24/7.
