I actually looked it up and the last time they had a regular series was 2010 and they had one singles match each in 2012 and 2013 but that's been it since AJ went to NJPW

Some observations online...."OMG why are Reigns and Brock facing each other again? They've wrestled 3 whole times in 3 years"......"ERMAGHERD AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe!!!" a match we've seen countless times over a decade.

The difference is that absolutely NOBODY except you wants to see Reigns vs Lesnar again.

It’s in a different setting and Joe vs AJ isn’t as predictable as Reigns vs Lesnar. I know it’s pointless to argue with you though so I don’t even know why I bother to use the effort.

NOBODY .....take a look in places where it's not geeks with avs doing "too sweet" hand gestures.

I'm pretty indifferent, I only have a real problem with it bc I don't know how they're gonna make it different than any previous ones, but if it's just Roman winning and Braun cashing in to be the next monster for Roman to conquer then MEH

It's just the way the guy says NOBODY....like thats an undisputable fact like "we breath air" or "we need water to live".

It's clearly not and it's that type of hypocritical phrasing that I've had a problem with forever.

There are people that want to see it. There are people that love Brock, there are people that love Roman. I love Roman but I’ve already stated how I feel about this match.

I will say this about AJ/Joe. We need to temper expectations. Almost everyone had unrealistic expectations for AJ/Nakamura and Mania at we were disappointed because of it

I will say I'd definitely rather see another Roman/Brock match as long as it's a different finish than Brock winning than watching Brock beat any other guy on the Raw roster bc I can't see him losing to anyone else unless they really wanna monster push lashley

For me it's hard to get up about either match, I think Brock/Roman have done everything they can do in the ring at this point, a win over Brock means nothing for Roman at this point, I said it at the Rumbler house show that loss fucked everything up for him. How many times can you pull a rug from under a guy and expect me to still be invested he's either THE GUY! or he the guy. I also wouldn't be shocked if WWE wanna keep the belt on Brock and ask if he would wearing for his UFC superfight to get potential eyes on the WWE.

As for Joe/AJ it should be cool, but my hopes are not as high as others, IT WILL NEVER TOP TURNING POINT 2005 EVER! GO BACK AND WATCH IT NOW! It will never, ever top it. Not saying it will be bad, but I've seen them at their best. Joe isn't that Joe anymore, he's more of a bully and sure AJ can bump around for him but I'm just not expecting a classic.

Brock and Lashley are pretty much the same gimmick and same ring style....that makes for shitty matches historically....hell maybe Brock and Heyman asked for Reigns because they know he's safe and he won't hurt him so he can go train and not fuck up his Daniel Cormier payday.

Yeah I'm not expecting anything crazy from Joe/Styles bc they're both pushing 40 but they both wrestle so much differently now than they did and just those two having a high profile match at summerslam is something I never thought I'd see

without a doubt, having 2 of my favourites of all time in a high profile WWE SSlam PPV is great. And when I watch them come out i'm sure i'm gonna have a huge smile on my face.

I shouldn’t have said nobody but there are those are not that invested in the rematch, thats a better way to put it imo.

Me personally, I like Roman but I’m not interested in the rematch but if anyone else then more power to them I am not going to stop them from enjoying it.
