NXT Episode 7
August 1st, 2012
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

GM Dusty Rhodes is on the TRON, he says being a champion on any level is a great accomplishment. And NXT needs that. He says the first-ever NXT Champion is about to be crowned and we're down to 8. He calls a Gold Rush Tournament. He says the eight men in it are Richie Steamboat, Bo Dallas, Leo Kruger, Seth Rollins, Michael McGillicutty, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, and Justin Gabriel. And it begins RIGHT NOW!

HhV4rMK.jpg

Quarterfinals for the NXT Championship: Richie Steamboat vs. Leo Kruger
Not a great way to kick off the tournament, Once again it's the standard wrestling 101 stuff Leo plays the coward chicken shit heel well, and Steamboat plays the fiery babyface and falls for the Ol' i hurt my knee trick which allows Leo to take over. He works the neck with a dope vice grip, really twisting the neck and shit. But, Richie doesn't sell the neck more sells exhaustion or the ribs that's been hit like twice. He comeback is decent and he hits the sling blade for the win. *3/4

Big E. Langston vs. Adam Mercer
Remember when E was a respectable monster who runs through people and had a last name, good times. So this is great. E uses a lot of 2002 Brock offense and CAW powerhouse stuff. Just throwing around this poor man with no regard before hitting the Big Ending for the win.

Audrey Marie got dem tangs out

84iVasc.gif

Audrey Marie vs. Raquel Diaz
Eddie's kid got her mother's looks and her mother's talent in the ring. Poor kid. Diaz goes stuff before hitting the Gory Bomb for the win. After the match; Diaz takes out lipstick and writes L on Audrey's forehead.

ZJGzyJD.jpg

oh look, it's Kurt's kid
Mike Dalton & Jason Jordan vs. Hunico & Camacho
Regal goes over the Cam/Hun story again, and now its' back to Cam biting a man's nose off. Hunico & Camacho dominate for the majority, and it probably the most offense they've done in a tag match all year. Dalton bumps and sells well, Jordan never gets in and the match ends when Hunico goes for the assistance on like a powerbomb move but Dalton counters and turns it into the 'rana with pin on Cam for the win. **

BO Dallas Video Package.

Quarterfinals for the NXT Championship: Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins
FUCK YEAH! Rematch, this gets 10 minutes and is on par if not better than the first match. It's all Seth to start, so Drew tries to hide under the ring when Seth goes for a dive. Seth then tries to pull him out from under but Drew sends him into the hard part of the apron jaw first. He targets the arm, but sadly we cut to break so we miss the majority of it. But in other news, Seth sells it so that's good. He counters the throw into the air, into a DDT and mounts a comeback, they trade awesome near falls and counters before going into the finish. Nice callback from last weeks finish with Seth going for the Pheonix splash and misses, but this time he has the big boot scouted and ducks. Drew hangs himself up on the top rope and stumbles to his knees allowing Seth to hit the BLKOUT for the win. **3/4

NXT Episode 8
August 8th, 2012
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Quarterfinals for the NXT Championship: Michael McGillicutty vs. Justin Gabriel
AWESOME Mat sequence for 4 minutes, lots of crisp counters and reversals as we go to break. When we return, Justin takes a sick bump going face and neck first into the ring ropes allowing Michael to takeover, he tries to work the neck with various neck holds but also just breaks them randomly to kick or knee Justin in the head. They drop all of that and just start doing stuff until Michael hits the McGillicutter for the win. Could have been so much better with some direction. **1/4

CJ Parker vs. Kassius Ohno
Great showing for OhNo, CJ gets the better early but Ohno uses his experience to tie CJ's legs up using the ring apron mat and stomp on his chest. He targets the head and neck, setting up the elbows. CJ makes a brief comeback but Ohno takes his fucking head off with a big boot and ends it with the Death BLOW for the win. **1/4

Last Week, after their win Dalton and Jason are celebrating. Jordan says nobody saw it coming. Dalton says they are Smackdown stars and they did it. Jason says they are a team, and this is their proving ground just give them a chance.

Tamina Snuka & Paige vs. Kaitlyn & Caylee Turner
Decent, Paige has some fire and looks good on offense carrying Kaitlyn around. Turner isn't good at all, like this might be her 3rd match ever. It's rough on her part. Heel's isolate Tamina they do stuff to pass the time, until Paige tags in and cleans house she hits a cradle for the win. *3/4

Quarterfinals for the NXT Championship: BO Dallas vs. Jinder Mahal
The blind leading the fucking blind. HOLY SHIT! This is bad, 100% this match has been practiced 100 times. Everything is basic and just boring. Bo isn't a face at all and Jinder at this stage, or even in 2017 when he BECOMES FUCKING WWE CHAMPION is not a lead heel. They basically just trade punches, knees, and elbows for 10 minutes before Jinder locks in the Camel Clutch for the win. WORSE MATCH OF NXT so far, I will watch 100 shitty Ascension squshes before I would watch this again. *

NXT Episode 9
August 15th, 2012
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Earlier Today, Briley Pierce interviewed Richie Steamboat, he says ever since he was a kid he dreamed of being a champion but now has a big obstacle in his way. Jinder comes over and says tonight his dream becomes a nightmare.

Semi-Finals for the NXT Championship: Jinder Mahal vs. Richie Steamboat
Kept short thankfully, Richie is much better at getting sympathy and selling than Bo is he does his job. Jinder does the same stuff he's been doing, working the neck with crappy holds. Regal tries to put it over but no, just no. Richie misses a dive off the top and Jinder locks in the clutch for the win. *3/4

Backstage: Briley Pierce interviews Leo Kruger, who is stoking his hair. Briley asks about his loss in the tournament, and he says something isn't right, and pulls a broken tooth out of his mouth and says something isn't right inside of him. I COME FOR YOU PUTA! And he leaves doing a creepy laugh.

Heath Slater comes out and he makes an open challenge..............AND FUCKING SCOTTY 2 HOTTY COMES TO THE RING!

Heath Slater vs. Scotty 2 Hotty
Scotty showcase, waste of time. He hits the worm for the win.

Following his loss last week Briley Pierce interviewed Bo Dallas, he says he came so close but he lost. He wanted t so bad and the next time he gets his shot, he won't miss. Bateman comes over and says he gave it his all.....BUT HIS ALL WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH! He tells Bo to get up again, and when he gets his shot he won't lose like him and will give Bo the first shot.

The Ascension vs. The Uso's
Uso's let them get all their shitty intensity offense off, before Jimmy gets the hot tag. But the Ascension get DQ'ed for shoving Jey off the top rope LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! After the match; The Ascension beat down Jimmy, cause reasons.

Backstage: Matt Striker interviews Hunico & Camacho, Hunico claims he had a stomach virus and 170-degree temperature. Not to mention he lost his buro, those guys got lucky. See you on the rebound.

Semi-Finals for the NXT Championship: Michael McGillicutty vs. Seth Rollins
Really good for 10 minutes, Seth is super on his with his dives and stuff. Michael has started yelling "CHA" or "SHA" when he does something, so not whenever he does anything on offense the crowd yells it at him. Michael doesn't really stick to a body part just targets anything that is attached to the head and neck, which includes these awesome clubbing forearms to Seth's nose. It turns into a slugfest before Seth makes his comeback, Michael hits two different variations of back suplexs for two. He goes for the running swinging neckbreaker but it gets counters, so Michael just punches him in the face. He goes for the superplex but that gets countered into a sunset flip into the running buckle bomb and ends it with the BLKOUT for the win. **1/2

Jinder Mahal comes down to the ringside to yell at Seth, but Dusty comes onto the stage. He says the finals has been set and let the best guy win. Jinder tries to attack Seth from behind, but Seth fights back and chases him off.

NXT Episode 10

Derrick Bateman vs. Antonio Cesaro (w/Aksana)
Good back and forth match, they take turns trading offense until Cesaro flapjacks Bateman onto the top rope and begins working the chest before moving to the head. He doesn't sell or anything before making a comeback, but Cesaro bumps around for him before hitting the Neutralizer for the win. **

Video package airs of current main roster wrestlers talking up being a champion and what it means to them.

Tamina Snuka vs. Sofia Cortez
Short, Sofia uses kicks to break down Tamina to her size before locking on a body scissors. Tamina fights out and does some stuff before hitting the Superfly Splash for the win. After the match; Raquel Diaz attacks Tamina and draws an L on her forehead with lipstick.

Video package airs of current main roster wrestlers talking about what it means to be the first champion.

Kassius Ohno vs. Jake Carter
Decent Ohno showcase, Carter tries to win over my heart with body blows but they look trash. Ohno offense is all targeted to the jaw setting him up for the roaring elbow for the win. After the match; Ohno hits a second roaring elbow and puts hits boot to Jake's jaw until RICHIE STEAMBOAT makes the save. *3/4

Johnny Curtis & Michael McGillicutty vs. Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel
Kidd and Michael have another fun mat exchange, Justin doesn't look bad too. Faces have their way with Mike until Curtis distracts Justin long enough for Mike to turn him inside out with a clothesline allowing the heels to take over. Sadly, the majority of the heat us cut by a commercial. Kidd's hot tag rules once again, Kidd fucks up the double bring moonsault and gets two off a back elbow so they cut to the finish with the faces hitting the Blockbuster double team for the win. **1/4

Backstage: Briley Pierce tells Kassius Ohno that Richie has challenged him. Ohno says Richie doesn't like seeing people in pain and asks how he's going to like it when it's him. Kassius hurts people.

Video package of WWE wrestlers hyping of the finals of the gold rush.

Byron Saxton is in the ring and introduces both Seth and Jinder. Saxton asks what this means to him, and Seth says growing up all his life he wanted to be champion, so this means everything to him. growing up isn't easy but wrestling gave him a dream and direction. He asks Jinder the same question, so Jinder says Seth had a touching story but sounds like a born loser. But, he, on the other hand, was born into greatness. And he is the supreme superstar and Seth's dream will remain a dream. He cheaps shots Seth, but again Seth cleans house and stands tall to end the show.

NXT Episode 11
August 29th, 2012 ~ HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY FAB!
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Mike Dalton & Jason Jordan vs. Hunico & Camacho

Decent little match, Jordan gets most of the ring work during this one. He's still pretty green but shows flashes of goodness. He bumps and sells well so that's good. Just like the first match, this is 90% Hun/Cam being pissed off and taking turns beating on Jordan. Dalton has a cool little hot tag, but for some reason, he's in full-on Dolph adjace mode with his yelling and spots. The match breaks down, with the ref forcing Jordan out allowing Hun to hit a modified Angle Slam for the win, **

Jimmy & Jey Uso come down to the ring, Jimmy says last time they were here it was clear Ascension didn't want a match they wanted a fight, so they're calling them out NOW. The Ascension's music hits, but they attack the Uso's from behind. They beat the Uso's down before leaving. UGH!

Big E Langston vs. Chase Donovan
It's so brazy, seeing this version of E when only 24 hours on SD I just saw him rub oil or syrup on his chest. Back to the match, all of 30 seconds. E hits like 2 moves before dropping Chase with the Big Ending.

FUCK YEAH! Howard Finkle is here, he introduces the Commish Dusty Rhoades. Dusty Rhodes comes out to take the title to the ring, I should also point out the roster is on the stage.

Finals for the NXT Championship: Jinder Mahal vs. Seth Rollins
This gets 15 minutes or so, so UGH! They try to work this as a big match, but it's Jinder so lol. Jinder tries to use his height to brawl but Seth counters with athleticism to go with his stick and move offense. Seth goes for a dive to the floor, but Jinder moves and catches the boot. He then drops Seth face and body first into the ring apron, he follows by press-slamming Seth onto the ramp, who takes a phenomenal bump. Sadly, this is butchered by commercials. Jinder works the back, it's pretty basic and for like the 3rd match in a row Seth freaking sells it to start, but as he makes his comeback just forgets about it. Poor, JR and Regal they keep trying to talk up how some of Seth's moves don't have the same jump or effect because of the bad back. They go back to the back again, but it gets cut due to a break and we cut to the "yay/booo" strike exchange. Seth hits the springboard knee for a 2, which was the best near-fall of the match. Seth just starts getting all his shit in but misses the Pheonix Splash allowing Jinder to go for the Camel Clutch but Seth fights out. And hits the Buckle Bomb, followed by the BLKOUT for the win. **3/4

Dusty Rhoades comes in, he raises Seth's arm as the babyface portion of the roster come down. They hoist him up and celebrate before Seth jumps down and goes into the crowd to celebrate.

NXT Episode 12
September 5th, 2012
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Richie Steamboat vs. Kassius OhNo
Angle match. Richie comes out super hot being one step ahead of the vet. Ohno tries everything to get Richie off his game, but nothing works so he pokes him in the eyes. FUCK YEAH! The ref tries to DQ him so Ohno begs not to, so Ohno rakes the eyes again and now the ref has seen enough. After the match; Ohno boots him to the floor, before dropping him throat-first onto the rails. He rolls him back into the ring, and connects with the DEATH BLOW!

Ricky Steamboat runs from the back and checks on his son, he then goes off on refs and the trainer for not coming out sooner. Which is a fair point.

Audrey Marie doesn't have dem thangs out :(

Audrey Marie vs. Paige
Solid Paige showcase, I like that they built the animosity up throughout the match before the trash catfight spot. She hits the Rampaige for the win.

Backstage: Ricky Steamboat sees Ohno, Ohno says he think his son might be hurt, and Steamboat says it takes a lot to attack him after the match from behind and says it takes something else to do it face to face. He shoves Ohno, and referees hold Ohno back. He asks if he's gonna arm drag him now and says to do something, and says not to throw his back out.

Percy Watson vs. Leo Kruger
Leo is now Kraven adjace/poacher :mark: which is hilarious and if I was booking in 2012 for this company, I would have so many Leo vignettes of him stalking wrestlers away from the arena. And his finisher would either be Shooting them with a tranquilizer and covering them or a long dart type move. Anyway, this isn't good. Leo is still regressing in the ring from his first match and Percy will always be trash. Leo hits a mood-swinging neckbreaker for the win.

Brian Collins vs. Brodus Clay (w/Da Funkadactyls)
NOPE!

The Ascension vs. The Uso's
Uso's come out pissed off and clear the ring early as we go to break. The Ascension is still awful though, outside of that 1 Kenneth bump to the floor their heat segment is meh, no heat, standard heel tactics made worse with terrible "intensity yelling" while doing anything. Made worse by the partner making moaning sounds from the apron. Jey has a nice hot tag and the Uso's have a nice comeback, the match ends when Jey does his diving no hands plancha to the floor. Jimmy then goes to the top, but Kenneth throws his body into the top rope crotching him, the then does a running face slam/hair dump for the win. **

Video Package airs of last weeks NXT Championship match.

Jim Ross is in the ring and introduces the NXT Champion Seth Rollins. For some reason Seth comes out without a shirt on, just to put one on. JR asks him how he survived that back injury to win :lmao Seth says he knew there would be something he would have overcome, and when Jinder called him a "Born Loser" that was all the motiviation he needed. JR says he is now the hunted, and asks if he's prepared for that. Seth says he knew what he was getting himself into, and he'll even paint the bullseye on his forehead. He says he'll fight anyone but sooner or later, everyone gets blacked out.

NXT Episode 13
September 12th, 2012
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Kenneth Cameron (w/Conor O'Brien) vs. Jey Uso (w/Jimmy Uso)
Jey does what he can bumping for Kenneth who just generic. He targets the head, neck, back, and nothing all at the same time. Jey's comeback is pretty bad too, I can't call it a comeback either as he does like two rights hands before they move right into the finish with him hitting a spin superkick for the win.

Backstage: Rick Victor busts open into Duty's office talking shit, so Dusty cuts all that shit and tells him to prove himself.

Big E. Langston vs. Chad Baxter
SQUASH!

After the match; E hits a 2nd Big Ending and counts to FIVE. YES! He grabs the mic and says a 3 count is normal, Big E is not normal. From now on my opponents will not get up from a 5 count. E goes to leave but decides to enter the ring and hit a 3rd Big Ending. 1...2...3...4...5

Backstage: Ohno cuts a promo saying Richie found out the hard way they Kassius is dangerous, but for some reason no one else gets it. So next week he's gonna have the first ever OhNo sparring session.

Where's Trent? NEXT WEEK!

Garrett Dylan vs. Damien Sandow
Sandow showcase for a few minutes, it's alright he wins with a Straightjacket Neckbreaker.

Briley Pierce interviews Seth Rollins, he asks Seth about the main event and either man being a potential contender. He says he'll fight anyone, and Rick Victor comes over. He says it's easy to say you'll fight anyone when you're protected and says he bets he doesn't even know how name. Rollins says he doesn't, so Victor slaps him and leaves. Rollins says he knows who Rick Victor is, and he just jumped to the top of his list.

Backstage: Dusty books Seth/Rick for next week. None-Title.

Tyson Kidd vs. Michael McGillicutty
They start off on the mat and that's really good, I miss chain wrestling to start off matches. Kidd wins all of the chain wrestling matchups so Gillicutty takes a breather, once he renters he knees Kidd in the midsection and takes over. He doesn't pick a body part, just dishes out punishment and keeps him grounded. Kidd makes his comeback and it has some cool spots, but Gillicutty weathers the storm and hits the McGillicutter for the win. Not on the level of their first match, but still enjoyable. **1/2

NXT Champion: Seth Rollins

NXT Episode 14
September 20th, 2012
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Trent Baretta vs. Johnny Curtis
This is Trent's first match back after tearing his bicep 6 months ago, they have a solid flashy indy style opening with athleticism and fancy counters, Trent goes for a moonsault but Curtis shoves him off and his arm whips off the top rope. It's the previously injured arm, so Curtis works it. Curtis somewhat works it, it's alright. Trent sells it really well though, he does have a sloppy sunset flip powerbomb but it makes sense with the hurt arm. His comeback is cool and he hits a modified Whisper in the wind for two. Curtis comes back with a nasty belly-to-belly into the corner turnbuckles for two. He misses the Legdrop and Trent hits the running knee for the win. **3/4

Alicia Fox vs. Paige
Not the cleanest but not bad, she gets a couple of close near falls right out the gate off flashy roll-ups which tocks Foxxy off, and she comes back with a dope tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for two. She works the back with slaps and Paige' selling is passable. She has some really good forearms too, before hitting the cradle DDT for the win. *3/4

Jimmy Uso (w/Jey Uso) vs. Conor O'Brien (w/Kenneth Cameron)
Conor is hot garbage, Jimmy bumps around for him to make his shit looks passable but it doesn't work. Kenneth interferes at some point and Coner hits a running boot for the win. After the match; they beat down Jey too. *1/2

Sparing Session: Kassius OhNo vs. Oliver Grey
Basically, and Ohno showcase tons of sweets big boots, uppercuts before he locks in a Cravat for the win. Ohno grabs the mic and says that was a lot easier than expected, and says the young man clearly was unprepared and asks to give him a rematch. The bell ring and Ohno kills him with a ROARING ELBOW and another Cravat for the win. Ohno refuses to break, so Richie runs out to Ohno off. *3/4

Leo "Kraven" Kruger video package.

Rick Victor vs. Seth Rollins
This is terrible, Rick controls 90% of the match. He also keeps biting himself when he can't put Seth away. Seth has a shit comeback and hits the BLKOUT for the win. *1/2

NXT Episode 15
September 26th, 2012
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Michael McGillicutty vs. Bo Dallas
They exchange punches to start before Bo hits 3 front slams sending Michael crashing mid-section first into the mat. I'm starting to think, nxt has a class for yelling to make you seem "intense" cause everyone does it and they're all terrible, BO, in particular, is god awful at it. For some reason, he beats on Michael for like 5 straight minutes like he dun stole something. He weathers the storm and hits the McGillicutter for the win, so lol FUCK BO. *3/4

Paige Video package airs, she says she's not here to be a diva, she's here to be a fighter and to get run train on, then cumed on

Jake Carter vs. Leo Kruger
Jake still have no idea what he's doing for a gimmick, he's trying the pretty boy gimmick. But has no idea how to wok it. UGH! I just said work it, directed to a man and his looks. Jake still have watches on his attire cause IT'S TIME! It's time alright, he spends the whole time getting his ass kicked by NEW KRAVEN! Kruger isn't a great squasher, but he starting to get the moment and facial expressions of a psycho, hunter, creep down. He hits the spinning neckbreaker for the win.

Ryback vs. Aiden English & Francis Remi Dorian
SQUASH!

Kassius OhNo vs. Richie Steamboat
This starts off with Richie sticking and moving, totally throwing Ohno off what he wanted to do. He doesn't fall into Ohno's game of brawling but does a decent enough with his striking. Ohno does a great job bumping for him, really goes above to make things look good, but before the break, Ohno hangs Richie up on the ropes and begins working the neck. Ohno's locks in different variations of the Cravat wearing him down. Sadly, Richie didn't get the selling DNA from his father though. He does have a nice comeback though, so I can't be too mad. I like that as the match moves along both men really pick up their striking, Ohno with jabs and elbows that can't keep Richie down so he becomes frustrated, Richie ducks the roaring elbow and counters into the inside cradle for the win. **3/4

After the match; Ohno attacks Richie from behind with the Death Blow elbow. He then ties Richie's arms up and locks in a Cravat hold until refs rush down to break it up.
