I was totally against the remake but after seeing the trailer it might not be totally awful. Hemsworth, Palicki, and Morgan are all pretty good. They're going to give some background on the characters before jumping into the invasion which could work in their favor. I'll be very disappointed if the dad doesn't yell "AVENGE ME!" before he's shot though.
