Biggest Letdown of All Time

We all have those matches we are just disappointed in. Whether it was hyped up to much, or you expected more out of the guys in the match, or someone got injured and it was cut short. What match has let you down more than any other match in wrestling history?

Mine is Triple H vs. Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 25. They could have done so much more in that match. They hyped it out the ass and the feud was amazing. I was looking forward to it so badly and knew how big of a brawl it was going to be. The crowd was drained from Taker/HBK and all around, it just sucked. They rolled around for ten minutes, and it was boring as hell. The entire feud flushed down the toilet.

From a hype standpoint and not delivering on any aspect would have to be Hogan/Sting starcade for sure. Was one of the most hyped up matches in the history of wrestling and was perfectly done. Instead the payoff ended up being done wrong and fucked it up with their vintage WCW booking that was a sign of things to come.

Other than that yeah HHH/Orton is one of them but I put that on WWE more than them. They should have made that no DQ made no sense to have them in a normal match for the level of aggression that feud had.

Rock and Cena vs. Miz and Truth.

Seriously bored the hell out of me, and was basically used to suck Rock.

Also, Kevin Nash vs. Hulk Hogan.

Steiner's re-debut in WWE.

Lesnar vs. Goldberg.

Bret Hart's entire WCW run.

Really how? Batista at that point wasn't known as a good worker or anything yet it was still a good match and done right.

Miz vs John Cena at WrestleMania. Semi decent build despite Miz being overshadowed by Cena & Rocky, great video packages on the night of the event followed by one of the biggest duds i've ever seen.

DX v.s Legacy at Hell in a Cell in 2009. That wasn't even a damn match.

Batista vs. Cena Last Man Standing where the duct tape was used. Need I say more?

That finish was a let down, but before that match was pretty awesome. Much better than their I Quit match which also had a terrible finish.

True but still disappointed because the ending made Cena look weak as fuck and it was a complete joke to Batista and he literally left the company soon after.

Do you think Batista would have not left if that didn't happen? I reckon he left cos of that reason cos he was used as a joke... Eh I don't know.

I must say Chavo vs. Rey Mysterio's match right before the I Quit Match they had was disappointing too.

His last night in the company was the night after the I Quit match which was such an awesome start to Raw. Hilarious stuff much like his entire heel run.

I don't think Batista left over duct tape. The guy doesn't really have any passion for anything he's just a big guy jumping from one thing to the next.

I didn't leave the company because of that. He quit the next night on Raw and he was leaving to pursue other interests other than WWE.
