Naw, not horrible by any stretch, but the two together didn't exactly have killer chemistry. I actually really liked Kamala though, he had a couple of decent matches with Hogan back in the day and his stuff with Lawler in Memphis was beyond awesome, especially the angle where he "sang".

I can't believe we're forgetting to mention the stellar Undertaker feud where he fought himself.

I didn't mind Undertaker/Bundy that much, but more because I'm a big fan of Bundy. Andre was past the point of working by the time 'Taker showed up, but if they had ever met in their respective primes it would have been awesome.

Undertaker would have probably won. But Andre would give him a fight. I would have liked to see that match a lot actually.

Two giants are always good, but I disagree that Undertaker would have won. If it was a real fight Andre would have killed Undertaker, he was just that much bigger. Kayfabe I would agree, if it was in WWF/E as Andre would have put Undertaker over for the good of the business but if it had been in Japan or any other territory, Andre wouldn't have lost.

He could have been for sure, everything he did in the ring looked so much scarier because of his size, so definitely over Undertaker. Not sure about Hogan though, the US fans are what Vince wanted to connect to most and I feel Hogan would always outdraw Andre in that department. Worldwide, Andre was easily the bigger draw, but in America it was Hogan.

it so funny to think cuz Hogan could have easily been replaced with Beefcake or Ventura etc in the beginning and gotten that monster push and there would have been no Hulkamania... just timing and some charisma

Timing, charisma and the Rocky III appearance as well. That's one thing Hogan had over any other wrestler, he'd already gained some level of notoriety outside of the business and Vince obviously popped a boner for that. Not that I fault him either, that was a genius move on his part to push the well known guy to the moon. He's just lucky Hogan was up to the task.
