Jericho coming to WWE was a great moment but c'mon Hogans heel turn even if you cant stand the guy (I cant) is THE biggest thing in wrestling history. The Superhero, squeaky clean, loved and adored face turning his back on all the Hulkamaniacs was pure gold and something not likely to happen again. WWE are too terrified about merch to ever turn Cena heel despite him being staler than 10 year old bread.

Hogans heel turn is huge. But Jericho is one of the main reasons I love wrestling and when he joined WWE I went through the moon. I doubt he wins this round.

As far as historical significance, Hogan's heel turn trumps Jericho's WWE debut. Both are memorable and great in their own right, but the heel turn carries more weight as far as things that make you mark out go.

The heel turn was huge, no doubt, but this is clearly Jericho for me and I'll explain why.

During the beatdown at Bash at the Beach, when Hogan came down, Bobby Heenan (who is still the greatest regardless of what I'm about to say) ruined the whole fucking thing by going "ya, but whos side is he on?". Nobody would of thought that, why make a comment like that....

Plus, for Jericho, who was never a huge name in WCW, to come in the way he did and get the reaction he got was incredible. One of the best planned segments in wrestling history. They could of had Rock not bury Jericho so bad but they still both came out of it looking great IMO.

These were 2 of my clear favorites heading in and it's sad to see 1 go right now.... Hogan's turn was just an incredible edge of the seat moment.... and The Cork, I agree with you about Heenan's comment watching back now, but at the time watching it, I still completely expected Hogan to come to the aid of his WCW boys and then get jumped by the 3rd Outsider. I think it's more noticeable now because we know what's gonna happen

As for Heenan's comment, it think it's one of those things where because he actually tells you the truth, you're less likely to believe it because announcers are never right. When he asked whose side he was on, I think "That's fucking dumb, he's obviously here to help Sava-OH SHIT NEVER MIND!" It didn't ruin the moment, but I do agree that it was unnecessary.

Also, I'm voting Hogan, but this was so close.

I just have to comment about Heenan. The guy was constantly trying to discredit Hogan, and this was the one and only chance he could say it, and be proven right.

Yeah, I loved him saying "I told you so" after the turn. I feel like Heenan would have said that even if Hogan did come out to just help WCW against Hall and Nash, he was always saying things like that about Hogan.

Tough choice again here but I went with Hogan turning heel. One of the biggest moments in wrestling history.

Took the words out of my mouth. Like Jericho's debut was good, but it can't beat that.
