Recently, Linda McMahon told on an inteview that "Pro wrestling is an entertainment product" which she is kinda right. But the question was if Pro Wrestling was his favourite sport and she said this. So she again kinda ruled at pro wrestling as sport.

This is a huge debate. What is your opinion?

For me it is. It's pre determined, guys do perform in the ring but there is a huge effort. Effort in gym, effort in ring. So it is definitely sport for me. Even chess and motor races -F1 etc- called as sports. Not discrediting them but just to give as an example.

Fuck no. Effort in the gym and ring doesn't make them a sports star.

The outcomes are all pre-determined so there's absolutely no way it can be classed as a legitimate sport.

So in your opinion there has to be a legitimate competition in order for something to be sports.

Pretty much. They're storytellers, just like every other actor out there albeit in a slightly different manner.

It's solely entertainment.. Wrestling gets a bad wrap because non-wrestling fans consider it a 'fake sport', when it's not.

If wrestling wasn't pre-determined, it would be a sport.

I say yes, but any true Sport worth its name works because its entertaining. Life, sport and entertainment is about larger than life characters. Also, the actual skill to do moves and make them look good without crippling someone is another factor.

Yeah it needs competition to be a sport. I'll accept fuckin chess, esports, cheer leading etc but only if it's legit competition.

Tom Cruise never won a medal for his running skills.

Michael Jordan didn't really beat the monstars in a basketball game.

Marlon Wayans and his dead brother didn't really win the NCAA tournament in the Sixth Man.

If the outcome is fixed and written for dramatic purposes....it's not a legit competition.....which sports is.
