Do you think that pro wrestling needs blood or it is something that it could do without? Do you miss seeing those bloodbaths in WWE?

I think that in certain cases blood can be really important to a match, blood can add a massive affect on a match and really help in regards to storytelling. For example, I think the blood in the EC3 vs Spud match really added something, especially when Spud was covered in a crimson mask crawling up EC3 begging for mercy. It made EC3 look incredible and really made the match that much better.

It isn't important, but blood, in certain times, can really add to a match. I love seeing Triple H get all bloody and still walk away with his World Title back when he was champ. Just a cool visual. Same with Flair and his blonde hair.

EC3 vs Spud was good and I think the blood helped it out well.

Ric Flair looked weird without blood covering his face, in my opinion I think he made blood really add to a match especially well. It really helped tell the story with Flair.

I'm at that point where I'm no longer missing blood and a lot of the more mature elements WWE no longer has, but that's alo because their not as "PG" as they used to be either.

That said, I don't need blood on the weekly or monthly, but I do feel certain matches every few months could really benefit from the storytelling of it.

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns would be an epic story if they both added color, make it look like an all out war of attrition.

With Brock getting turned up by the sight of his blood and Roman nearly passing out. etc...

It's fine if the match calls for it, simple as that. I do miss blood in wwe, there have been a lot of feuds over the past few years that could have used it.

In the grand scheme of things its not that important. But I feel like in those big matches, WM, Summerslam, etc, you can have blood and it works to your benefit.

Well, Blood really isn't that important in matches too me. I mean, back in the 1980s it was pretty cool, but at times it was over done. You really couldn't pick up a magazine without seeing some wrestlers with his mouth wide open, sucking for air, with blood spewing down his face.

Now if its done in moderation, I don't mind a little blood. Like the Smokey Mountain match between, Y2J and Lance Storm vs. The Heavenly Bodies. The blood was there to tell a story, and not just for shock and awe. The blood in the HHH vs Batista Match at WrestleMania 21, added to the match, that HHH was out matched by the Up and Coming Batista.

Just to have blood every match is a bit much. Some of the RIc Flair Promos where he busted himself up again were a bit much. Save it for special events.
