I was always upset the tag division wasn't better once the nWo angle happened, Harlem Heat was like the only consistent team among a bunch of jobber

Yeah pretty much agree with that Chris.

That's one of the reasons I loved WCW, Chris, because I loved the main event characters enough from a story point, I didn't care fuckery and the under card all beign significantly better than WWF's is a better trade off. That said, yeah. The tag team division being dead from about 96 to 98 always irks me. Especially when you see what Nash does with it in 1999. Nash sucked with the book except he had fire tag teams in 1999.

No one can ever book a tag division in any company tho, you always get 2 years max of greatness then like 5 of obscurity

DDP/Bam/Kanyon, Saturn/Benoit, Mysterio/Kidman, Horsemen, Hennig/Windham, etc.

I think you can if you try, Chris. WWE stopped trying for years and WCW I doubt was trying here. The division might not be great beyond 2 years, but I don't think it has to do if you at least try.

TNA I think had a pretty decent tag team division for most of the 10 years I watched

I mean I love the fuckery, but I'm not gonna act like it was good just bc I can be entertained by terrible wrestling lol

I do have a soft spot for the Country VS. Rap feud of 99. I so would have bought that "Rap is Crap" single if it was released in the UK

Some years better than others but at least there was always something there
