Sounds like former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is going to make good on her lifelong dream of becoming a professional wrestler for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

That’s according to the most recent edition of Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer newsletter, which confirms Rousey’s addition to the promotion’s performance training center, sort of a proving ground for talented (but green) future stars.

She’ll be taking bumps alongside “Four Horsewomen” stablemate and former UFC bantamweight Shayna Baszler, who earned her spot with a formidable run at last summer’s Mae Young Classic, an elimination-style tournament designed to showcase up-and-coming talent.

Just don’t expect her to be an everyday player.

“Rowdy” — who got her nickname from the late “Rowdy” Roddy Piper — is never coming back to UFC, according to this guy, which means the Olympian will have time to have babies, depending on her pro wrestling timetable.

That would be a shame, considering Rousey is still in her fighting prime, though it seems “easy” knockout losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes were enough to send her packing for the foreseeable future.

So eyes will be turned to WWE which is good. Great stuff can come out here but... but I am afraid that WWE will bury Four Horsewomen to Ronda and co.

I mean if you're going to bring in Ronda Rousey you have to have a top talent in the Horsemen of WWE going against her crew, or the interest of it wouldn't be as strong. I'm happy to hear this news and thinking about it makes me want to see Asuka vs Ronda down the line that's if she works herself up the ladder.
