American History X should be shown in schools. That movie was life changing for me. I used to be racist, but now I'm engaged to a black woman (not to redeem, it's just something that happened after the walls were removed).

cun believe people would say that the marine is a good movie. its way too fake in my opinion. how many explosions can cena run from? hes a marine, not an immortal

Meh, the Marine was what it was.

Big guns, big explosions, and big muscles.

Anybody watching that movie expecting anything else needs to have their head examined.

It wasn't a great movie, but it delievered on what it advertised.

^^I was expecting more. It had John Cena for christ sake. It should have done a lot better in the theaters.

It must have been the script. It just wasn't believeable. No one could beleive that John Cena would be dishonorably discharged from the Marines or that criminals would kidknap his wife. In real life he would FU them all and make them all tap to the STFU in about 10 minutes, but I guess that doesn't make much of a movie.

lol. yeah i was hoping that they would be an FU in the movie. the movie could have been more real. and yeah the storyline is pretty thin. wife kipnapped, chases, kill them, finish

The brief nudity at the begining I'm sure is the reason its not shown in schools otherwise I would agree with you. I think there would be a lot more understanding in the world if a lot more people watched American History X.

My favorite movies are as follows:

1. WaterBoy
2. Slapshot
3. Final Destination 2 (3 sucked ass)
4. Day After Tomorrow
5. Ferris Bulers Day Off.

Movie that I haven't seen but I would add from seeing the promos is The Number 23.

Well, high school kids in 10th grade or up should be mature nough to handle nudity, gore, and vulgarity without missing the point of the movie. It's the parents that have the problems. We weren't allowed to watch Platoon my senior year because of some kid's parents complained about the rape scene (which is VERY breif). I was 18 and wasn't allowed to watch a movie that I owned because someone didn't want their daughter to see it (she had a kid already too.....so what innocence is that gonna spoil?....lol).
