Firsty there's no need for the ROH logo is there.

Secondly, i'm pretty sure that Cena's salary was in the range of $1 - $2m last time something like this leaked out years ago so I wouldn't imagine there would be much difference now. Given he's the top star, you then have a rough idea of what the other brackets may get.

They're not near as much as you would think they'd get.

Not near enough if you ask me, especially when you consider the schedule.

No one actually gets paid their guarantee, most make twice as much.

I am sure they do well, but probably not as good as Hogan and others back in the free flowing cash days of WCW. The top card guys do deserve what they get with the schedules what they are and money they bring to the WWE treasure chest. I have to wonder how many are married because that would put a tremendous stress on a family.

Hogan was (supposedly) making around 750k to a mil a year in WCW. Doubt it was that small, but thats what the general consensus was.

Trips new contract says, a mil a year. Again, doubt it, seeing as no one takes into account merch sales and a piece of the gate.

That's it? I thought I read Hogan made almost 5 million a year in the late 90's with WCW when they were at their peak. At least that's what I remember from "The Death of WCW" kindle book. Heck, even Dennis Rodman made over a mil for his appearances.

Hence the reason for the (supposedly).

It's pretty hard to get real numbers on wrestler salaries since they are not made public, and why would any of these guys want their salaries to be made public?

I don't mean to stray off subject, but sports stars salaries are public knowledge and most Hollywood stars salaries are known. WWE must fall into a gray area then? :)

Makes sense. The author of Death of WCW made it sound so factual. :)

The top stars pretty much seem to have that 750k to a mill plus range as a base and then get certain %'s for their merch and the mania payoffs too where all in all can come out to some nice amount of money.

I would think it would be like this

Jobbers probably get 50 to a 100 grand a year

Midcarders get 250 up to 500 grand

Veterans get between 500 grand to 1 million (IE Kane, Undertaker, Shawn Micheals)

The top stars get between 750 grand to maybe 5 million depending.

Thats their salary then everyone gets a percentage of how much their merchandise makes not to mention extra money for making the PPV which why I wonder why some guys aren't working harder to get up there.

The contracts are a baseline minimum usually with Merchandising and a percentage of PPV buys and what not people make over the "contracted salary"
