Nate Savage is seen walking backstage, taking a breather after his semi-final match when he's approached by Bryce Montgomery
Bryce Montgomery: Nate, a moment of your time please?
Nate stops to look at Bryce with a confused expression.
Nate Savage: Who are you?
Bryce Montgomery: Um, Bryce-
Nate holds up his hand.
Nate Savage: Look Bruce, I don't want to hear your life story, just get to the point of why you're bothering me
Bryce, somewhat confused does his best to compose himself before continuing on.
Bryce Montgomery: Well um, Nate earlier tonight you successfully defeated Shinji Tsukada to advance to the sem-finals where it there you were also successful, and now you're onto the finals...
Nate Savage: First off let me stop you right there Bruce, because it sounds to me like you're surprised that I advanced to the finals, easily I might add, so are you questioning my abilities Bruce?
Bryce Montgomery: It's Bryce, and no I'm not questioning your abilities at all...
Nate Savage: I don't care what your name is, and it sure sounds like you are questioning my abilities. Let me tell you something, none of these guys have what it takes when they face me in that ring. I merely look at them and strike fear in them, have you ever been able to do that Bruce? Don't answer that because I already know the answer.
Silence falls over the two of them as Bryce stands there, dumbfounded.
Nate Savage: Go on, continue with your little interview because there's plenty of things I'd rather be doing right now so let's finish this up so I can get to those things
Bryce Montgomery: Well, is there anyone you'd prefer to face?
Nate Savage: That's a dumb question, but I'll humor you and answer it anyway. Personally, I'd like it if it were Orion Pax so I can get my hands on him and that little weasel Alex Scott what they did to me last week, but since it's not I'll have to make due with what I'm being given. If I were to pick I'd say Byron Hicks, I don't know why but there's something about him that I don't care for...
Bryce Montgomery: Is it because of his carefree attitude?
Nate Savage: Look at you with the journalism, good job Bruce. No, it's not that necessarily but that doesn't help my disdain for the man. For starters he looks like he was someone that was found on the streets and the company is allowing him to work for food. I don't normally judge a book by it's cover, but have you seen the guy? He's bush league compared to me. He looks like he hasn't bathed in weeks, he's a bum Bruce, plain and simple and I'm going to make mince meat out of him tonight if it's him and I in that ring...is that all Bruce? Can I go now?
Bryce nods and Nate storms off leaving Bryce relieved that it's over.
