Candice on Contract? Why WWE Decided Not to Sign Io?

The reason WWE passed on Io Shirai was not due to her back but due to an issue they found with her heart. The fact is, she has been cleared by doctors in Japan from both her neck and heart but WWE’s doctors suggested passing on her.

Next was the women’s Battle Royal which Cross won by throwing out Billie Kay in 12:19. Candice LeRae got the biggest pop, but she’s not under contract so she’s just there for enhancement work. She always get a big reaction and looks good and wrestles better than most, but sometimes the decision making isn’t the easiest to figure out.

Seeing Toni in the MYC was my first experience watching her, and she's gotta be the most well-rounded women's wrestler i've seen in a while. A good look, good in the ring and tons of charisma. WWE should snatch her up quick.

Now I'm pretty sure she gets tested by Stardom especially when she was hurt and in the Hospital before having to take time off, so if their was a problem with her heart that the Japan Doctors would of found that a long time ago? Is this Dave being wrong about something, but Io is go go go in the ring at times and I've even said she needs to slow it down sometimes. She's young and the last thing I wanna see is something happen to her during a Match and they didn't find the problem and help sooner.

It's funny Io blindfolded is better than the majority of Women Wrestlers in WWE outside of Asuka and Kairi lol.

To my knowledge Bianca Belair is signed to NXT. Toni is probably too interested in doing all her international dates right now, but she would be a fantastic get for WWE without a doubt.

I don't doubt there's an issue as WWE wouldn't pass on her unless there was something.

TBH I've not seen a lot on Io, but from what I saw I personally gravitated more towards Kairi and knowing WWE, Vince and the WWE Universe let's try to build Asuka and Kairi first and then maybe grabs some more ladies from Joshi promotions.
