Breaking News: Matt Hardy sent home from European Tour

World Wrestling Entertainment star Matt Hardy has been found dead in his North Carolina home.

Details are still murky at this point but it is believed to have involved a painkiller overdose.

It was reported that Hardy had been sent home from the WWE's tour of Europe earlier due to undisclosed circumstances.

We will bring you more on this story as soon as we get the information.

I am a Matt Hardy fan. I always have been, most likely always will be to an extent. But expecting him to go to TNA and be an automatic main eventer is flat out dumb. When, now more than if he goes to TNA he will just be Jeff's bitch much like he has been for the better part of the last decade. He is a solid worker, no doubt, but he isn't in a point in his career where he has a big up side, he has 3-5 years tops left in the tank and with the younger (and at times better) guys that are currently at the top of the mid card it's impossible to see a legitimate main event push for Matt.

He is far from being worthy of gracing the main event spot on a show. He is just terrible. He is like the Jeff Hardy of WWE; Lazy and worthless, they have both only produced 1 good match this year (Matts is his match against Alberto on SD). Matt isn't horrible. He isn't in the greatest condition. Thats nice. He hasn't been young in years. Hes aging atleast a little gracefully and he isn't going around trying to hit moves like 450 splashes and stuff. He's using basic grapple moves because he knows what hes capable of for his age. He loves doing what he does and tries his best at it. That would be good enough for a lot of people.

This is why Wrestlers read dirt sheets and forums and laugh. People will say things about them through the computer, but when they see them in person, they'll act like an excited fan boy or they'll just shut up and won't say anything.

after 10 years of jumping off ladders into tables, chairs and other lafdders and basically just being a daredevil Matt Hardy never adapted to the PG era, that is why Jeff Hardy had so much success whereas Matt didn't. Now he is just useless, i can't be bothered to watch his matches any more and to be honest it doesn't look like he can be bothered to compete in his matches any more hes slow, has no real moves anymore, and any top rope move usually fails or just looks really bad, like any moment he could hurt himself, the Matt Hardy we all once knew has died, and his brother Jeff has died with him......

It has nothing to do with failing to adapt to the PG era. God, you make it seem like he was unable to ever wrestle a good singles match, which would be highly incorrect, or that his character became boring when WWE went PG, which is another piece of crap as he has been boring since about '06.
