More likely asked for and granted a release. Was hurt for most of his run. But dude had a Mania title match and was the voice of 205 Live. Hardly a wasted run.

CM Punk adjace wasn't going to be anything more than a good mechanic simple and plain.

apparently he did ask for his release like I thought....seemed to be well liked by the brass from what I hear.

his wife's in NXT now too....maybe he wanted to stay home so he could spend more time with her and not on the road on a completely different schedule.

Aries definitely seems like the type of guy who'd ask for his release. Definitely had a lot more to offer so it's a shame but what're you gonna do

Probably wasn't happy. That's usually the reason people ask for their release. I just hope he's not done with wrestling all together cause I'd love to see him go to Japan and tear the house down with Omega, Okada, Naito, etc

Read earlier it was because he didn't like being pigeon holed as only a Cruiserweight which I can understand. Same article also said he had a bad attitude backstage too.

Can't say I blame him for not wanting to be stuck in the 205 division. Only so far you can go especially with Neville having that shit on lock

Apparently WWE fired him and most people backstage didn't like him.. Rumor's say he had a bad attitude. Not the first time i heard that about Aries.

Based on his Twitter posts....seemed like another cm punk adjace thing he did.

Where's his podcast rant going to?

Heard of him having attitude issues going back to TNA. Like Deezy said, that CM Punk comparison could be made. Punk believed he was the Best in the World; Aries may believe he's the Greatest Man that ever lived.

Always like Aries was one of the better promos to come from the indie scene and I think he was good at working crowds through his body movements. Maybe he just lacked that IT factor to make it big in WWE, but still think he could have been a solid-midcard guy. Hope to see him back there some day. Guess he might just need a break.
