PWTorch reports that the injury is an arm/shoulder injury suffered during the main event of RAW. Del Rio landed hard towards the end of the match when he was flipped over the top rope. He started to favor his arm at this point. After he took a missile dropkick from Daniel Bryan, Del Rio slid to the corner, again favoring his shoulder. Del Rio could be seen talking to the ref towards the end of the match, and after it ended, he checked on Del Rio before calling the trainers from the back.

Sucks for Del Rio, but if he is to miss any time he won't be missed assuming his flirtation with the main event scene is done for now.

Damn, sucks for him. I have no idea if he was supposed to regain the belt by WM, but the plans sure have changed now.

Also sucks for Mark Henry, who was a champion, and was rumored to keep it until WM.

Not a good year for WWE: Christian, Mark Henry, Rey Mysterio, and now Del Rio all suffered injuries. Let's not forget Edge...

Very true. All these guys have had some major hurdles thrown their way.

Damn that sucks for him, not a fan of the guy but always hate to hear about someone being injured but if it keeps him from the title awhile that is good also I guess.

I'll be happy if he takes some time off, I'm pretty bored of him right now tbh. Still, sucks for the guy. It's funny though, he literally just returned on WWE 12 for me just as I saw this thread.

I don't know, Del Rio is a great performer... a Legend of some sorts in Mexico (and no Sin Cara isn't a Legend in Mexico... he's just considered Mexico's version of John Cena). He's an all around performer but in WWE he just seems lost, I have seen matches of him in Mexico and they don't look anything like what he has put up in WWE. It's bad for him to be injured.
