Michael Presents:
Impact Wrestling 2015: Destination SUCCESS
_____________________________________________

Background Story: Impact Wrestling is carrying absolutely ZERO momentum into 2015. Despite that, everybody inside the company knows that 2015 is going to start off with a bang. IW is planning on shying away from the use of TNA and doing a complete 360 and rebranding themselves as Impact Wrestling. To start off the new year, they're going to kick off on a brand new network due to failure of coming to an agreement with Spike's television network. Both parties ended on horrendous terms and IW plans to "shove it" to them. IW will be rebranding and debuting on Destination America this upcoming January.

Here's the dealio. New networks = new opportunities. IW has found a new pay-per-view deal in which they will bring back the 1 PPV a month format to their programming. Only 3 PPV's will be left unchanged. The follow PPV's you will continue to see within the company: Lockdown, Slammiversary, and last but not least Bound for Glory.

Impact Wrestling has had a series of power struggle issues, but they are about to come across one that they have never seen before. IW has a mystery investor who will be going by the name of "Mr. X". Nobody but the top heads of the company know who this mysterious fella' may quite possibly be, but it'll definitely be interesting to see. Will it be another letdown like IW fans have been seemingly learning to accept, or will this individual be able to propel the company to the next level?

With those two announcements, Mr. X has announced that IW's first, brand new Pay-Per-View, will debut under the name of The Grand Line. Nobody knows what to expect for or from this PPV as of yet, but I'm sure we will soon see for ourselves.

With Jeff Jarrett attempting to make a name for his own company GFW, and a new generation of superstars arising within the WWE, will Impact Wrestling be able to make it's own stand or will it continue falling until it digs a hole so deep that it will be left behind in the dirt? That's a question that we will soon discover!

NEWS:

Mr. X has informed TNA that if he plans on continuing to invest into the company that they are have to be willing to make some cuts and use their own money more efficiently. He believes that the roster is currently made up of too much excess talent. This could mean that you can expect a few cuts before and/or after TNA debuts on Destination America.
_____________________________________________

One thing that caught Mr. X's attention is the Knockouts division. He says that division is going to take a 360 "real quick". Nobody knows what he possibly means by that, but we have a bit more information about the Knockouts division associated with the next announcement.
_____________________________________________

It was announced earlier that TNA would debut their brand new January PPV that will be named The Grand Line. The artwork for the new PPV has been revealed:

Mr. X didn't want to leave you guys completely in the dust. He has announced the very first match to be added to the card. The revamping of the Knockouts division will begin with champion Taryn Terrell (c) defending her Knockout belt against a brand new TNA acquisition. Nobody knows who it is yet but this has been revealed:

Impact Wrestling Preview 01/09/15:

What better way to open up our debut on Destination America than to open up with a few words from someone who was able to catapult the companies success to another level, IW World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Roode! What does the world champion have to say about the new network, maybe he knows who his opponent will be at The Grand Line, maybe he knows who Mr. X is. Stay tuned and find out!

Non-Title Singles Match
Low Ki (c) vs Manik

Whether or not the Redneck Revolution will accompany him to the ring is yet to be seen, but we have no doubt that they will. Manik previously lost his title to Low Ki so he is more than likely seeking revenge and to bring the belt back to the Redneck Revolution. Will Low Ki be able to defeat Manik again or will the Redneck Revolution get involved.

Tune into Impact Wrestling this Friday to see the rest of your favourite superstars as well!

IMPACT WRESTLING - EPISODE 001
Destination America - THE DEBUT

_____________________________________________

*PYRO DISPLAY TO OPEN THE DEBUT OF IMPACT WRESTLING ON DESTINATION AMERICA*

Mike Tenay: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WE ARE LIVE IN THE IMPACT ZONE!

Taz: Oh boy this is exciting Mike, we have no idea what’s in store tonight. The new arena design looks great! Ladies and gentlemen at home, Kurt Angle said he’d open up the show tonight and let us know what the Main Event is for tonight.

Mike Tenay: I can’t wait! To make things even more excited we have a mystery investor, do you have any idea Mr. X could possible be Taz?

Taz: I have no idea but I hope we find out tonight! And here he comes.. the general manager of Impact Wrestling, Kurt Angle!

*Gold Medal – Dale Oliver Blasts Through The PA Speakers*

Smoke comes out from the stage as the Impact crowd goes wild. As the smoke fades, a shadowed figure appears behind it. Out comes Kurt Angle dressed in a suit making his way down to the ring with a microphone in his hand. Faded “Angle” chants can be heard throughout arena as the crowd fails to string them together. Kurt steps inside the ring as his music begins to fade.

Kurt Angle: IT’S GREATTT TO BE BACK ON LIVE TELEVISION. The crowd can be heard roaring loudly and eagerly awaiting what else Kurt has to say. As everybody should know, we’re on a brand new network and we are going to start off the year with a bang. I don’t know if you guys have heard yet, but we are back on the pay-per-view market, and trust me when I say we’re going to be in store for one hell of an event. But that’s 3 weeks away, we still have tonight to get through. I’m sure you’re all wondering what the Main Event is for tonight and I’ve thought about it long and hard, the Main Event for tonight wi…..

*Chief of Staff – Dale Oliver & Serg Salinas Begins To Play On The Speakers*

The crowd immediately begins to unleash an uproar of boo’s as Spud interrupts Kurt Angle’s announcement for tonight’s Main Event. Spud has a blue plaid suit and a whole lot of spunk as he makes his way towards the ring.

Rockstar Spud: Kurt! Kurt! Wait up! I am soooo sorry to interrupt! Fans of Impact Wrestling I am so sorry! No I am not here to insert myself in to the Main Event, I am not quite there yet guys but do not worry, I am working on it! I WILL BE!

Kurt Angle: Listen, get to the point already..

Rockstar Spud: Kurt! You don’t have to worry about making the Main Event for tonight, it’s already been made!

Kurt Angle: I know it’s been made.. that’s because I made it.. Kurt begins to look annoyed with Spud.

Rockstar Spud: No, no! Mr. X, Kurt! Mr. X! He gave me a personal call! He wants me to be his assistant and appear on the show on his behalf! I don’t know who he is, but if you don’t believe you can go to the back and ask everybody for yourself! There should be a signed notice on your desk! Spud begins to clear his throat. ATTENTION LADIES, NOT SO GENTLE MEN, AND GENTLEMEN, MR. X WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE MAIN EVENT FOR THE GRAND LINE PAY-PER-VIEW WILL BE A FATAL FOUR-WAY MATCH UP FOR THE TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! Who will Bobby defend against? Well that’s what we’re going to decide. Kurt looks angered that he wasn’t informed of the news but he allows Spud to finish. We are going to have all 3 of our qualifiers, TONIGHT! We will have Kenny King face off against AUSTIN! ARIES! MVP face off against MR! ANDERSON! And in our main event, we have BOBBY LASHLEY! FACING OFF AGAINST…. SAMOA JOE!

Kurt Angle: You know what, that’s not what I had in mind, but that’s not too bad either. Good job Spud.. you make a good bitch. The crowd erupts in ooh’s and ahh’s as Spud’s eyes open wide. Next time, tell “Mr. X” to confront ME before making me look like a fool.

Kurt proceeds to drop the microphone as he grabs Spud by the arm. He proceeds to hook his leg as he raises him into the air, spins around and drops him down for a vicious ANGLE SLAM! Kurt gets up as his music blasts on the speakers. The crowd goes wild as seeing Kurt perform an Angle Slam in the ring has become such a rare occurrence.

Taz: WOW MIKE! ANGLE, FRIGGEN, SLAM!

Mike Tenay: WHAT A STRING OF MATCHES WE’RE GOING TO HAVE TONIGHT, I CAN’T WAIT!

Taz: Before the qualifiers begin, we’re going to open Impact Wrestling up with some X Division action as Manik of the Redneck Revolution gets set to take on the reigning X Division Champion, Low Ki! Next, when Impact returns!

_____________________________________________

As we return to Impact Wrestling, we are brought backstage as we can see Robbie E and Tyrus, a recently formed tag team, just sitting back and talking. Jessie Godderz just-so-happens to cross their path.

Robbie E: Hey what’s up broski! Robbie and Jessie fist-bump eachother. Hey sorry you had to find out I had a new partner like this, hopefully there’s no hard feelings.

Jessie Godderz: No hard feelings man, hey don’t worry, I have a new partner too. Jessie walks off with a smile as Robbie gives him a confused look

Robbie E: YEAH.. WELL.. GOOD.. NO HARD FEELINGS BRO, NO HARD FEELINGS.. Robbie walks over to Tyrus you hear that man? New partner? He got a new partner? He was going to leave me just like that. Robbie slaps Tyrus on the chest Forget him Tyrus, don’t even stress him bro, let’s get out of here.

Robbie exits the camera’s view as Tyrus slowly follows behind him.

Low Ki © vs Manik
w/ The Great Sanada

Closing Moment: Manik runs towards Low Ki as Low Ki drops lee and kicks him in the knee with a low dropkick. Manik drops onto his knees as Low Ki is quick to get up. Low Ki looks around to the crowd as he throws a brutal kick into the chest of Manik. The crowd ooh’s as the impact echoes throughout the arena. Low Ki winds up and connects with another strong kick to the chest. This time, without hesitation, he continues to throw a multitude of kicks into the chest of Manik. Finally he proceeds to spin around and nail a roundhouse kick right into the head of Manik as he completes the Krush Kombo. Low Ki is feeding off the energy in the arena as he proceeds to step out onto the apron and climb to the top turnbuckle. He attempts to balance himself as Sanada is seen climbing the apron. Low Ki get’s distracted as the referee is warning Sanada that Manik will be disqualified if he proceeds to do anything.

The distraction allows Manik to spring up and run full speed towards the turnbuckle. Manik hops onto the second rope, as he takes a proceeding step up while hooking under the armpits of Low Ki. He takes the final step up to the top rope as he flings himself and Ki back to connect with a top rope belly to belly suplex. Manik is slow to roll over but finally manages to throw a hand on top of Ki’s chest. The referee slides down counting ONE.. TWO.. TH… KICKOUT!!!! Manik sits up grasping his head in complete disbelief. He quickly gets up and tumbles over to the turnbuckle. He hops up as he begins to set up for the Frog Splash. With his entire body extended, he jumps off as Low Ki manages to spring his knees up right into the gut of Manik. Low Ki attempts to set up for Warrior’s Way once more as he climbs the turnbuckle. This time Sanada has surely seen enough as he hops onto the apron and without hesitation pushes the leg of Ki so that he flips and takes a bump back in the ring. The referee has seen enough and signals for the bell to be rung.

Winner: Low Ki via Disqualification

Sanada climbs into the ring and begins stomping away at Low Ki. Manik slowly gets back up to his feet and assists Sanada in the beat down. All of a sudden, an unexpected wrestler arrives at the scene. JESSIE GODDERZ!!

Mike Tenay: IT’S JESSIE! WHAT’S HE DOING!

Taz: Is he joining the Redneck Revolution? Or is Low Ki the new partner he was talking about earlier Mike? I’m confused!

Mike Tenay: We’re about to find out Taz!

Jessie slides into the ring and springs on his feet as Manik and Sanada turn their attention to him. Manik quickly runs towards Jessie as Jessie takes him down with a clothesline. Sanada follows as Jessie whips out another clothesline. Manik comes back for more as Jessie kicks him in the gut and delivers a suplex. Sanada tries to get the better of him but Jessie scoops him up and nails him with a quick powerslam. Jessie is flexing and showing a lot of emotion as the crowd erupts for him unexpectedly.

*DOWN IN THE CATACOMBS HITS THE SPEAKERS*

Taz: IT’S THE MONSTER ABYSS!

Abyss runs as quickly as only Abyss can to the ring. He climbs in as Jessie stares him down. Jessie proceeds to run at him and it appears to be a big mistake as Abyss catches him, flips him around, BLACK HOLE SLAM!. Abyss picks up Low Ki, grabs him by the neck and chokeslams him out of the ring. Abyss’ music begins to play again as the members of the Redneck Revolution are seen standing tall.

Mike Tenay: What on earth has just transpired! Jessie Godderz came to help out Low Ki but he may have just made the worst mistake of his life! MORE, when Impact returns!

Cameras go into a backstage locker room as Kenny King is taping up his wrists. MVP is seen pacing back and forth with him.

Kenny King: Hey I ain’t worried man. I think you should be worried about Bobby. He doesn’t seem to be on the same page as us recently.

MVP: Look, when we all qualify, we’ll be on the same page man. If we’re not, well then that belts going to come back to one of us. I can see it now.. M.. V.. P.. TNA WORLD CHAMPION.. or, or, listen here man.. KENNY.. KING.. TNA WORLD CHAMPION..

We cut into a dark room as James Storm is seen alongside the rest of the Redneck Revolution (Abyss, Manik, Sanada, Shera).

James Storm: Jessie.. Jessie.. Who the hell is Jessie.. Jessie.. WHO.. the.. HELL.. do you think you are? I’m helping TALENT.. you deserve your place in the company.. you are the vile trash that gets ahead of others and nobody understands how. The camera fades to a black screen

Singles Match – The Grand Line Main Event Qualifier
Mr. Anderson vs MVP

Closing Moments: Continuing a great brawl, Anderson and MVP exchange rights to one-another’s face. Kennedy swings a right as the crowd roars “YEAHH!”, MVP swings a right as the crowd goes “BOOO!”. Finally MVP swings an array of repeat punches and jabs. He then proceeds to run back to the ropes, rebounds back as Anderson connects with a kitchen sink that flips MVP over and leaves him in a seated position. Anderson turns around and swings a stiff boot into the back of MVP. He gets down on the mat with him and digs his knee into the back of MVP (who is still seated), as he clinches onto his chin and pulls back. Anderson applies the submission hold and continues to add pressure as the referee checks if MVP wishes to tap out. Realizing the submission hold wasn’t going to put an end to the match, Anderson loosened the hold and grasped the nappy head of MVP. He slowly began pulling him up as MVP threw a left jab in the gut, a right jab to the gut, followed by a slick punch right into Anderson’s jawline. MVP quickly gets up and stumbles to the ropes to rebound off of them. He comes back as Anderson catches him and snaps him to the side for a snap powerslam! The crowd erupts as Anderson feels the end is near.

All of a sudden, the cheers fade into a roar of boo’s as Kenny King can be seen jogging his way down the ramp. Anderson’s attention turns towards him, as does the referees. Anderson comes to the ropes as the referee holds him back telling him if he leaves he can get counted out or disqualified. Anderson slightly backs off and as soon as the referee gives him some room, he leans over the ropes and spits his gum right into the face of Kenny King. MVP takes advantage of the situation and sneaks up behind Anderson and rolls him up from behind while gripping onto his tights. The referee quickly drops down to count ONEE! TWOO! THREE! MVP quickly slides out of the ring and hobbles out with Kenny King as Anderson is on his knees extremely disappointed, throwing his fist into the mat in anger.

Winner: MVP via Pinfall

Taz: MVP doing whatever it takes to win, I like that.

Mike Tenay: Are you for real Taz, Anderson should be in the Main Event at the PPV right now not MVP, this is a joke. I hope Anderson gets his revenge.

Taryn, the Knockouts Champion enters Kurts office.

Taryn Terrell: Hey Kurt, I was just wondering, is there any word on who my opponent at the pay-per-view is going to be?

Kurt Angle: Sorry Karen.. I MEAN TARYN.. I have no idea.. that match was not my idea. That was all Mr. X, and I’m still trying to figure out who the hell he is.

Taryn Terrell: Well that’s a stinker, thanks anyways Ku..

Before Taryn can finish thanking Kurt, the Wolves come in and interrupt her and tell her to beat it.

Davey Richards: Hey there Kurt..

Eddie Edwards: Hey Kurt.. in a more sarcastic tone of voice

Kurt Angle: Great, and what can I do for you guys right now

Eddie Edwards: Well you see Kurt, me and Davey just thought here, that since we’re on a new network and all, it might have been a smart idea to showcase the best tag team in all of professional wrestling today on your show, you know, just saying

Kurt Angle: Look, I know how good you guys are. Believe me, I wanted to, hell, I originally had you guys scheduled to compete, but “Mr. X” completely threw everything off schedule. Here’s what I’ll do for you guys. How does this sound, next week it will be one half of the Wolves, Eddie Edwards, taking on one half of the Hardy brothers, Jeff Hardy.

The crowd erupts at the sound of Jeff’s name as the Wolves nod their head in approval and walk out as Kurt is seen going back to his desk scrapping through papers.

_____________________________________________

A camera shows a split screen. In one half of the screen, you can see Bobby Lashley making his towards the ring. In the other, you can see Samoa Joe making his way towards the ring as we head towards a quick commercial break.

As we return from commercial break, we can see Bobby Roode, the IW World Heavyweight Champion joining Taz and Mike Tenay on commentary.

Taz: My man Bobby! How’s it going champ!

Mike Tenay: Pleasure to have you here tonight Bobby.

Bobby Roode: Not bad, not bad, and it’s a pleasure to be here with two of the greats. Roode sits down and readjusts his headset.

Taz: How do you feel about Aries and MVP qualifying for the Main Event so far at The Grand Line?

Lashley is making his way towards the ring as he is making eye contact with Roode along the way, causing Roode to hesitate answering the question.

Bobby Roode: Not much to say, they’re both tough guys. Aries has had my number in the past, but I’ve had his as well. Same with MVP, it’s going to come down to who wants it more, and trust me, I want it.

Mike Tenay: Who do you have penciled in here?

Bobby Roode: I honestly don’t know. I would love to have Joe in that much, Joe would be one hell of a guy to compete against and I haven’t been in the ring with him in a long time. But I’m not going to discredit Lashley, he is a beast, Joe is definitely going to have to go all out to have a shot here.

Joe finishes making his way to the ring as the cameras cut their attention towards the ring now as it is time for the main event of the evening.

Main Event Singles Match – The Grand Line Main Event Qualifier
Bobby Lashley vs Samoa Joe

Closing Moments: Joe and Lashley have been going back and forth the whole match. Lashley take Joe's hand and irish whips him into the turnbuckle. He runs towards him and drills him with a shoulder to the lower gut. Lashley repeatedly drills his shoulder into Joe's gut. He takes Joe's arm and irish whips him to the opposite turnbuckle, BUT, Joe holds on and reverses the irish whip, sending Lashley into the opposing turnbuckle instead. Joe runs towards Lashley but Lashley moves out of the way as Joe plants his elbow into the turnbuckle. Joe is stumbling backwards as Lashley goes off the ropes, going for the SPEAR... NO.... Joe catches the shiny bald head of Lashley and throws him out of the ring taking advantage of his running momentum. The crowd is on their feet as Joe is pumping them up and signalling for a dive. Joe rebounds off the ropes as Lashley gets to his feet, dives through the second rope, connects elbow first into the face of Lashley, SUICIDE DIVE!!! The crowd goes crazy as watching Joe perform that move is always a sight to behold. The referee reaches a 7 count before Joe rolls Lashley back into the ring, as well as himself. Joe goes for the cover, ONEEEE... TW...... no! Barely even a two count! Lashley just had way too much time to recover.

Both men slowly rise to their feet and Joe begins swinging chops, jabs, forearms, ending it with a headbutt. Joe goes to rebound off the ropes but Lashley catches him by his sides. Lashley elevates him so high that the crowd can't believe it as he drops him down for a brutal SPINEBUSTERRRR that leaves the ring shaking. Lashley collapses over him, ONEEEEEEE... TWOOOOOO... TH NOOOOO!!!! Joe has just enough energy to kick out. The crowd is up on their feet because this match has been intense. Lashley doesn't waste any time as he goes in the corner and sets up for the Spear. Joe is slow to get up as Lashley rushes towards him, drop toe hold by JOE!... COQUINA CLUTCH!!!.. JOE HAS THE CLUTCH LOCKED IN... LASHLEY IS CONTEMPLATING TAPPING OUT.. WILLL HE.... NOOOOO, HE GRABBED THE ROPES. The referee reaches a 4 count until Joe finally let go.

At this point Joe only has one last resort. He picks up Lashley and sits him down on the turnbuckle. Joe attempts to climb up but Lashley rebuttals with a sequence of right fists to the forehead, Joe throws a chop at the chest as a WOO echoes throughout the crowd. Joe begins to cradle Lashley's head but he can't seem to find the energy to carry off a resisting Lashley. Lashley bites into the shoulder of Joe and throws a boot into his head. Joe turns away for a second holding onto his bitten shoulder. As Joe turns back, Lashley dives off the second rope and connects with a DIVING SPEARR!!!. The crowd is on their feet chanting *HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT*. Lashley falls over Joe and hooks the leg, ONEEEE... TWOOOOO.... THREEEEEE!!! Lashley rolls away as the crowd begins to give a mixed reaction to the match and the winner.

Winner: Bobby Lashley via Pinfall

Taz: WOW, LASHLEY, JUST WOW

Mike Tenay: What a match! You're in for a tough title bout Bobby.

Bobby Roode: They both put on a hell of a match, wow I'm impressed. Wait a second guys, is that....

Before Roode can finish his sentence, the camera switches over to MVP climbing over the fan railing and sliding into the ring. Lashley is slowly using the ropes to get up as MVP looks like he's going to give him a celebratory hug. Lashley already has avoided MVP's handshake and caused tension between him and King on a previous edition of Impact, so he looks a bit confused as to why MVP is still so welcoming. As MVP nears closer, he drops his arm and boots Lashley into the midsection. He drags him away from the ropes and connects a PLAYMAKER!!!

Taz: WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING!!

Roode takes off the headset and takes the title and stands on the ramp. Roode raises the title as MVP stares him down and yells at him over the ropes. We end the show with Lashley laid out in the ring, Joe defeated on the outside, MVP staring down Roode over the ropes, and finally Bobby raising the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship up high in the air.

Show fades off of Destination America.

Impact Wrestling 01/16/15 Preview:
_____________________________________________

Last week on Impact Wrestling, we seen our World Title match created for The Grand Line pay-per-view. Unexpectedly, after Lashley advanced to the title match, we seen MVP come in the ring and take him out with The Playmaker! How will Lashley respond this week? We also seen Jessie Godderz attempt to make the save for Low Ki as the Red Neck Revolution was making a beatdown on Low Ki, failing to save him due to Abyss coming out and making short work of him and Ki. Also, will Mr. X make another change to the card? Or will Kurt have full control of the show?

Tag Team Match
The Redneck Revolution (Manik & The Great Sanada) vs Low Ki (c) & Jessie Godderz

Jessie made an unsuccessful save last week when Ki was getting beat down. Is Ki the mystery partner Jessie was talking about earlier? If so, why Low Ki? Do these two have an unknown history together? Will Abyss make his appearance again? Will James Storm make an appearance perhaps as well?

Singles Match
Jeff Hardy
w/ Matt Hardy vs Eddie Edwards w/ Davey Richards

The Wolves were disappointed that they weren't involved in the first episode on Destination America. They will be looking to make a statement and what a better way than to defeat a member of one of the all-time great tag teams, as well as a former World Champion. This will surely be a match to tune into.

Main Event - Tag Team Match
MVP & Kenny King vs Mr. Anderson & Austin Aries

The biggest question on everybody's mind is will Bobby Lashley get involved? MVP laid out Lashley in the ring last week, so it'd only be appropriate, but we will find out for ourselves come the show. Kenny King cost Mr. Anderson a world title opportunity last week by interfering in the match he had against MVP. Anderson is surely hoping to get his hands on King after that. We also get a little preview of the Grand Line main event as we'll see Aries and MVP in the ring at the same time as well.

Tune in to see all this and more on the next edition of Impact Wrestling!
