There were some rather good fights.

Meathead vs. Gonzaga... Mitreone... I can't spell his name right but he has been improving quite a bit ever since TUF and he just scored his biggest win in the first round with a very nice hit.

Overeem vs. Struve... Kinda figured Overeem would win but the way he did it... well either way Overeem is back in the win column so for now his job is secure in the UFC.

Diaz vs. dos Anjos... I don't think this counts as a fight. More of a destruction. Diaz had nothing at all. Nothing. Plus he even came in 4 pounds overweight. But he could do nothing in that fight. He got flat destroyed in this one sided affair. Leg kicks did him in badly.

dos Santos vs. Miocic... Stipe did much better than I thought he would. He brought the fight to JDS but in the end... JDS was just better. Much better. Won at least every round but one on the scorecards. But Stipe lasted all 5 rounds. He deserves to be at the top but he just isn't ready for a title shot yet. But it does look like JDS could wind up getting the next title shot against the winner of Werdum/Velasquez whenever that happens.

It was a rather good show overall though.

I couldn't disagree more, I thought Miocic just edged a close fight and definitely won the first 2 rds.

For an alleged Golden Gloves winner his boxing was ropey at best though

JDS won on more combinations landed, maybe Stipe should've played harder instead of standing on his heels.

Lol'd hard at Nate Diaz.

Figured Gonzaga and Struve had be chance, since their chins are softer than Chris Hero abs.
