Backstage Update on a Possible Sign Steve Austin Is Working with WWE Again Soon

There's been a lot of speculation lately about Steve Austin possibly working with WWE again as they plugged his podcast on RAW and reportedly ordered production to begin on several Austin t-shirts.

To be more specific, WWE actually told their distributors to go into heavy production of Austin merchandise. This is seen as a sign that Austin could be back on WWE TV in some form or there will be at least a renewed push of his merchandise.

The story remains that Austin is open to returning if the money and creative plan is right.

This report is getting as old as the Sting ones now but hey, time to start talking about Austin wrestling at Mania this year :side:

Heard him say something on his podcast a few weeks ago where he said he was trying to get back into shape for a comeback, I thought that would've made more headlines than it did.

Could try the next Mania in Texas. But as long as he is still able to walk, people will speculate on whether he has one more match.

I can see him being involved somehow at a future Mania, but the boat that says it would be as a wrestler has long since sailed.
