How can the judges get it so wrong when everyone outside of the hardcore Diego fans knows Pearson won?

its been said before... they should get retired fighters to be judges since they know what to look for and would have a much more accurate score.

Cause these judges... its like they were going by if the fans cheered or booed

Vancouver seems to be snakebit when it comes to UFC cards. Prelims were way better, the women's fight was fight if the night.

Arlovski/Schaub sucked, scored it a draw due to inactivity from both fighters, but I guess the judges fell asleep in round 2 and woke up and saw Schaub's face and made an assumption.

Rory was shadow boxing a statue, and main event was boring as fuck.

Aight watched the show... and from what I could remember... I missed the prelims cause I was at work... so the main card.

first fight was prob the most exciting of the entire PPV and it was eh.

second fight... crap Ca... oh yeah... that ... that was the screwjob fight that Schaub shoulda won but for some reason the same guys that were judging the Sanchez fight judged this one as well. Second fight sucked.

Bader vs. the other guy... didn't suck as bad but wasn't... just wasn't.

Co Main Event... Tyron Woodley kinda just became nothing in that fight. Kinda just stood there and have those few moments of activity. Very very disappointing. Rory... we'll see what much he can do against Hendricks.

Main Event... I guess I was expecting much more out of it considering DJ was fighting.

Overall... this card is a cure for insomnia.

Well dang... Dana went in and just flat out said the Arlovski/Schaub fight sucked and shoulda been on the prelims. That Schaub didn't really get robbed cause the first two rounds coulda went either way but the third round was definitely Schaub's.

Talked about Arloviski looking soft and the such. Sayin the fans lost in that fight. Guess he really did not care at all about Arlovski coming back.

Was a bad card all in all. I want to erase ever seeing Arlovski-Schaub from my mind but cant. Dear god that was boring, Cut Arlovski again, I am/was a fan but the guys a shit house wall n stall fighter thesedays in all his fights. Brendan probably won that fight though through takedowns and landing more, but who cares, neither guy deserved the win, but jeebus did the one or two hits Andrei land do some damage though.

Woodley forgot he could throw punches at Rory or something.

Just meh thats all I can be bothered typing about it.

Guess this is the last time the Flyweight title will be the main event of a PPV.

But really... I was just like... Aight Arlovski has him against the cage... what is he going to do? Okay... hold him there... what else... okay still hold him... still holding him... still holding him.

Just gotta wonder if Arlovski is even going to get another fight... if so you know it'll be on a Fox Sports 1 card. But Schaub definitely looked like a mess.

Gonna get round to getting this section active again next few days. Been super burnt out with MMA with these over abundance of cards that the UFC are throwing out that I can't remember the last event I watched was, either Jones/Glover or Hendricks/Lawler which ever was the last one.

Former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz is set to make his UFC return at UFC 178 against Takeya Mizugaki. Cruz is coming off a nearly three year absence from the Octagon, which was due to two torn ACL’s.

Mizugaki will be riding a five fight win streak into the bout, including wins over Bryan Caraway Erik Perez, and most recently a win over Francisco Rivera. A win over Cruz would almost certainly put Mizugaki in title contention.

UFC 178 takes place on September 27th in Las Vegas, and features the rematch between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson.

I'm hoping he can make the fight and not get injured before this fight. Been waiting this long for him to fight. I mean I literally can't remember him as a fighter. Gonna have to youtube him.

It was revealed yesterday that the highly touted female fighter and former boxer Holly Holm was signed to the UFC.

Think this will be a pretty nice move for UFC?

There was a card last night.. I know surprise right? I forgot about it til my sister told me about it.

The main card was actually entertaining. Finishes galore. Pearson even finally got a legit win instead of looking like he shoulda won but lost when he knocked out Maynard. Man Maynard has fallen off the map ever since his KO loss to Edgar. He just hasn't recovered.

And in the main event we had OSP vs. Bader. First round... full of action. Second round slowed down some but still plenty of action. Third through Fifth... pretty much a typical GSP style fight... go for the takedown and hold the guy down. Like literally the last 10 seconds of the fight Bader went for the takedown, got back up and and went for another takedown. Yeah it was smart to protect the win and it definitely secured it. Just was boring compared to the rest of the card.

Ah well... I think the next card is the DIllashaw/Barao PPV... I think.

Barao out of the fight with Dillashaw due to complications with the weight cut. TJ now faces some guy who was on the prelims :lmao

Sucks for an already shitty card. Weight cuts are inherently dangerous and fucks up your kidneys, never was a fan of it.

Earlier today news broke that Renan Barao had withdrawn from his fight with TJ Dillashaw for ‘unknown reasons’, however an inside source close to Barao told us that Barao passed out while making weight, which was why he was forced from the card. As a result, Joe Soto, who was scheduled on the preliminary card, stepped in on 24 hours notice to fight Dillashaw for the belt.

After the weigh-ins, Dillashaw spoke with Joe Rogan about why he thought Barao pulled out of the bout saying:

“He’s scared, he don’t want it. His coaches wanted the rematch more than he did, he’s never missed weight before. It’s kind of funny that he wants to do it now.
