Only thing embarrassing is people still clinging to kayfabe like a Jim Cornette rant tbh.

Suspension of disbelief only works when people think an actual fight is going to happen.....kayfabe been dead ever since performers and so called journalists started referring to this as "art".

Going by that logic, we should never get invested in any TV show ever since it's not real.

Definition of Suspension of Disbelief:

"temporarily allow oneself to believe something that isn't true, especially in order to enjoy a work of fiction."

If Ronda is slapping us in the face saying that what's going on is fake, then it becomes increasingly hard to suspend one's disbelief.

Why do you watch wrestling if you are unable to suspend your disbelief to anything that is happening?

What's the point watching her wrestle if Ronda won't even attempt to make the fight seem legit?

Kofi Kingston openly said he wasn't in charactor on Raw when he wasndoing a heel promo.

Triple H has talked about their writers on TV.

Fuck sakes they tried this shit with CM Punk and his highly acclaimed pipe bomb and did it he same shit wit his wife and then let Paige cut the same promo.

And I watch pro wrestling like I watch action movies.....not for a second do I think the movie is real.
