NXT Episode 134
February 4th, 2015
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Carmella (w/Enzo & Cass) vs. Emma
I think Emma's main roster run has failed by this point, and it was only so much she could live off the two Paige matches. This isn't good as Mella isn't good and controls 90% of this with basic chokes and shit. Emma makes a brief comeback but Mella locks in her leg submission for the win.

Semi-Finals Match in the #1 Contender's Tournament: Adrian Neville vs. Baron Corbin
This is Corbin's first real test since becoming a lone wolf, and it's without a doubt it's his best match to date. Corbin isn't use to the speed and flippyness of someone the calibre of Neville so it totally throws him off for the opening 2 minutes or so, and Neville who is battle tested and faced pretty much every style of wrestler since coming to NXT, so he uses that experience he's had against the Wyatt's, Brodus, Titus all the bigger men to frustrate Corbin but power eventually comes out on top and Corbin fills him with a lariat to take over, Sadly Corbin's segment isn't much, lots of punches and stomps. He catches a Neville plancha drive to the floor and drops him on the barricades, but when he rolls him back in. BULL RUNS DOWN AND THROWS CORBIN INTO THE RINGPOST! Corbin stumbles back in and Neville capitalizes with a Red Arrow for the win. Pretty anti-climatic way to end Corbin's streak. **1/4

In a pre-tape, Sami says he says this contract signing just proved Kevin is a master manipulator, even more so than he gave him credit for. If he removes himself from this if it's really just about the title and not personal, then he fleeced him and he fleeced Regal too. If this is what he's really after and it's not him, which he doesn't buy, he got him so worked up that he begged/pleading to defend the title against him. But where they're at now is Takeover, and he's gonna beat the hell out of him.

Bayley vs. Becky Lynch
So this is really good, Becky immediately goes after Bayley's leg, the same knee that she hurt late 2014/early 2015. It's solid but felt like it was missing that something at times. Bayley's selling is awesome tho, Sasha comes out and they go right into Bayley making a comeback and going after Becky's knee. Sasha keeps yelling that she's got this and even rolls her back in before she was ready allowing Bayley to hit the Bayley to Belly suplex for the win. *3/4

After the match; Becky and Sasha argue, before getting into a shoving match. Bayley watches on from the floor as Charlotte comes out onto the stage and everyone LOOKS AT EVERYONE!

In a pre-tape, Kevin Owens says at the contract signing, it happen the way he knew it would. He wasn't going to sign anything not for the title, and Sami knew that. He got what he wanted and on February 11th, it's two months after his debut, to the day, and he's going to take the NXT Championship. Trust me.

Backstage: Devin Taylor asks Tyler Breeze what his plans are now after being eliminated from the NXT title picture, Tyler calls the question cutting edge. He says he lost 1 match this year, big deal. He says he plans on watching the upcoming match very closely.

Neville comes out and joins commentary, UGH! 4 MAN BOOTH!

Semi-Finals Match in the #1 Contender's Tournament: Hideo Itami vs. Finn Balor
Real good feeling out process to start, until Finn drills him with a dropkick, but for some reason thats when they cut to a break, when we return Hideo is now in control, kinda weird match as both men get an even amount of offense they go back and forth the whole match trading holds and strikes, it's kinda like a game of one up-manship. Like Hideo would do a chop, kick to the back and then do the chinlock, but then Finn would counter something and do the exact same stuff in that order and so on. This feels like a WWE style match, of two babyfaces wrestling for the first time, they're clearly filling time and saving stuff for later matches. They finally get into their big moves towards the end, and Hideo teases the GTS again but Finn counters into a pele kick. They start exchanging elbows, and Hideo is clearly getting the better but they have to pretend like Finn is a better striker, he then goes into his finishing sequence of hitting the sling blade, he murders Hideo with a running dropkick and finishes him off with the Coup De Grace for the win. **1/2

HX6IU9a.gif

After the match; Both men shake hands. Neville leaves commentary and Finn meets him on the stage for dat FACE-OFF!

NXT TakeOver: Rival
February 11th, 2015
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Hideo Itami vs. Tyler Breeze
After NXT ended last week, Hideo had a backstage interview but Tyler attacked him from behind, he beats him up and says he blew it, and he could have beaten Finn. So here we are. BREEZE DEBUTS THE SELFIE STICK! This is good, Hideo comes out pissed and tries to kick the shit out of him, so Breeze goes after the leg. He does some awesome leg holds like the Figure Four around the ringpost, Sharpshooters, and cloverleafs but nothing works. Hideo's selling rules for the most part, but as soon as its time to go home Hideo uses the leg to kick with no issues. They again tease the GTS, but Breeze escapes they do this out of place punch stuff with Hideo not selling it and egging Breeze on to continue to punch him, Hideo hulks up and makes a comeback before hitting the running one-legged dropkick for the win. **1/4

NoDq Match: Bull Dempsey vs. Baron Corbin
This starts off well with both men just punching the shit out of one another before Bull hits him with a suplex onto the stage and this is when the match nosedives, as they just work a regular match. Punches, one or two power moves that look sloppy. Corbin kicks out of Bull's shitty diving headbutt, so Bull grabs a chair but Corbin hits the end of days before he can use it for the win. This shit really needed weapons, especially when it was under 4 minutes. *

NXT Tag Team Championships: Lucha Dragons vs. Wesley Blake & Buddy Murphy
The curse of the Sin Cara mask strikes again as he botches a flying head scissors about a minute in and Buddy saves it by putting some boots to him on the mat, before allowing Cara to get back in and do some stuff. THEN KALISTO BOTCHES A DIVE TO THE FLOOR! GOD DAMMIT! CARA HAS NOW GIVEN THE BOTCH BUG TO KALISTO! Back in the ring, Cara hits the corner spinning sit down senton bomb drop move for two. He then allows Buddy to tag out like an idiot, so the champs can iso him. This match is so dumb. Champs get a solid minute and half on offense before Kalisto makes the hot tag, he does some solid stuff but keeps showboating instead of going for pins. We get a shitty Lynn/RVD rolling pin sequence so both partners come in to break it up. The match breaks down, and Blake catches Cara running in and hits a suplex and Murphy comes off the top with a Frog Splash for the win. Bad. We need my kids asap. *

HACKER SHIT!

#1 Contenders Match: Adrian Neville vs. "The Demon" Finn Bálor
Neville doesn't sell the Demon paint at all, as he goes right at him. Their mat work is pretty weak, but they do have a nice mix of Neville wanting to slow Finn down but Finn keeps trying to go for Arial moves but Neville has it scouted and keeps cutting him off. He plays the more aggressor so he doesn't do the flippy/spot stuff and keeps it grounded with headlocks, for a good 5-minute stretch before Finn manages to get some separation and find new life. They do this hilarious sequence with Neville crawling away, but then takes a seat on a chair on the floor and pretends he doesn't see Finn coming who hits the running dropkick breaking one of the rails. Neville was looking at him the whole time :lmaolmao::lmao Back in Finn hits the double stomp to the back but only gets two, the match picks up now with them having reversals for their big stuff, which causes the other having to come up with something on the fly before connecting with the move they wanted. Awesome spot where Finn gets the knees up while Neville hits the red arrow, and rolls it into a small package for two. He then kills Neville with the running dropkick to the corner followed by Coup De Grace for the win. If only the first half wasn't so meh, this would have been rated so much higher. ***

After the match; Both men shake hands (I think this is Neville's last match, but i'm not 100% sure)

Fatal 4-Way Match for the NXT Woman's Championship: Bayley vs. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte
This gets 13 minutes and it's the first real great woman's match in NXT history, all 4 immediately fight but Team Bae eventually team up take Charlotte out before isolating Bayley in the ring, that quickly comes to an end when both girls try to pin Bayley but the ref refuses to count so Becky finally had enough of being a sidekick and debuts T-Bone Suplex Becky. FUCK YEAH! She goes after Bayley's knee, but it takes too long which allows Charlotte and Sasha to recover and now all 4 are back in hitting moves. I love that they all keep going for pins right after to end the match as quickly as possible. This is also the first time I'm noticing Sasha's hairline, she has an awesome brief run on offense showing up Charlotte and her once BFF Becky but she forgets about Bayley who takes her out and goes on a run of her own against Charlotte and Becky which ruled. Awesome spot, with Sasha hitting the suicide dive to the floor wiping out both Bayley and Becky, and then their's an awesome shot of Charlotte in the ring angry at Sasha for trying to outshine and outdo her so she follows up with a basic plancha taking all 3 out. Back in, we get some good Charlotte/Becky stuff but BAYLEY COMES IN AND HITS THE BAYLEY TO BELLY SUPLEX OFF THE TOP! BUT SASHA COMES IN AND TOSSES BAYLEY TO THE FLOOR AND COVERS FOR TWO! She then applies the Bank Statement but breaks to kick Becky off the apron onto Bayley taking them both out. She then locks it in again, but Charlotte crawls to the ropes, and just as it looks like she's about to make it to the ropes. SASHA ROLLS IT OVER INTO A CRUCIFIX PIN FOR THE WIN! Awesome shit, woman's wrestling has now arrived. ***1/2

After the match; Sasha mixes between breaking down emotionally and doing the cocky "I TOLD YOU SO" heel taunting. Charlotte is still in the ring and puts out her hand, but Sasha refuses so Charlotte grabs her for a hug. It comes off super weird, Charlotte then pushes her off. BUT THEN SASHA PUSHES HER BACK AND HOLDS UP THE TITLE AS ONE LAST FUCK YOU! IT'S MY TIME NOW! BITCH! act before leaving.

Main Event video package airs.

MOTHERFUCK YES! THE BACKSTAGE PRE-MAIN EVENT WALKS ARE BACK!

NXT Championship: Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
Awesome mind games to start, Kevin keeps stalling and uses antics that have pissed of Sami before in trying to sucker him to the floor before but this is a new Sami that Kevin hasn't seen before, so he doesn't let Owen's antics faze him. He waits for his opening before hitting a senton dive to the floor to start the match. Owen's weathers Sami's assault in the corner before hot shotting him facefirst on top of the top turnbuckle. He begins destroying Sami with awesome power moves, and Sami has a Mr. Perfect like corner bump :mark: Owen's does an excellent job at being Bully Owens and just being a dick, but again it's Sami who makes this match so much better with his fantastic bumping, selling and facial expressions of getting his ass kicked. He really goes above and beyond to make Owen's look like a monster, it's like what he did against Cesaro at the first takeover. It's crazy how 60% of the fans have turned on Sami, not BOOOOO him or anything but the "FIGHT OWENS FIGHT" chants are now louder than the "OLE" ones. Kevin targets the head for the majority of the beating, he does mix in the combos and random stuff he does but goes back to the head a lot. Sami's comeback is great as usual, but Kevin kills him with a superkick and cannonball for two. Owen's follows up with the sick pump handle neck breaker for another two, Sami fights back and hits the half and half for two. They keep going, it's good but it's the stuff we've all seen in the past and will continue to see once it gets ruined on the main roster. Owens bails when he sees Sami going for the helluva kick, he then follows up with the moonsault move he does but whacks his head hard on the steel of the ramp. Sami then sells the blow like he's been concussed again, so he's wobbly legged and stumbles around before rolling back in. BUT THAT ALLOWS KEVIN TO RECOVER AND HIT THE POPUP POWERBOMB! But Sami kicks out on muscle memory, Kev is shocked and Sami has this awesome deer caught in headlights look. Owens attacks the head with nasty punches and elbows till Sami is pretty much out on his feet. Owens drops him with powerbomb, followed by another, followed by another, followed by another, followed by another and the ref calls for the bell. NEW CHAMPION! Good shit, as usual, love the build for the finish. Man, Sami is the greatest. ***1/4

NXT Episode 135
February 18th, 2015
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Backstage: GM William Regal is in his office, he welcomes us to the show and says Owens will face Neville in a none-title match tonight. It's a new era here in NXT.

NEW NXT CHAMPION! Kevin Owens comes down to the ring and grabs a mic, he says a lot of people have an issue with what he did at Takeover and the way he won this NXT Title. And those people have no right to be mad about anything because the fact is that he hasn't lied or pretended to be anything he's not. The moment he got here, he's made his intentions very clear. He said he would fight anyone to make things for his family better, and that's exactly what he did. Who he beat or how he beat them is irrelevant. What matters now is that Sami Zayn is the past. And when the past is done, you look to the future, and that's Finn Balor. He tells Finn to pick a date, and he'll be there, but what happened at Takeover will happen to him because nobody will take this away from him or his family.

Elias Samson vs. Rhyno
GORE! GORE! GORE!

Backstage: Devin Taylor is with Finn Balor, Finn says after the destruction Owens caused at Takeover, he's sure he has a very high opinion of himself. But he does too, and he'll face him anywhere, any place, any time. Kevin fights for a prize, but so does he. The NXT Championship. Rhyno then walks past and stares him down before walking off.

Vaudevillians vs. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady (w/Carmella)
Enzo wrestling in the black infrared 6's :mark: Super short, the run the same match they've been doing. Iso Enzo for a bit, Cass cleans house.................BUT THIS TIME CASS HITS THE BIG BOOT ON ENGLISH and Enzo covers for the win. After the match; Black and Murphy appear on the tron, Blake says at TakeOver they showed it wasn't a fluke. They hit on Mella for a bit. Okay then.

Backstage: The interview guy interviews Neville, he asks for his thoughts on tonight's match. Neville says he had an opportunity last week and he fell short. It's hard to take, but it's kind of a relief. He's used to being hunted and now he gets to be the hunter and prioritize, he destroyed his friend, and two months ago, he left Full Sail on a stretcher. He hasn't forgotten that, and tonight, Kevin Owens won't forget what he does to him.

In a pre-tape, Bayley says she got to be in the ring with three of the best and she put her heart out there. It wasn't her night, but she promises that there will be a night that she wins the NXT Women's Championship.

In a pre-tape, Becky Lynch says that fatal four way was the biggest match of her career. She gave it her all and she was THIS close. She'd have won if not for Bayley. If anybody else had to win, she's happy it was Sasha, and she's SUPER HAPPY Charlotte was the loser. How fitting I watched this the night after SSLam 2018.

CJ Parker comes out to the ring and says he's sick and tired of this. A special with him not on it? THAT'S BULLCRAP. He's tired of it and he hates them and he hates NXT. He's ending this show and taking it hostage. He puts caution tape across the ring.....................BUT STATIC/GLITCHY/HACKER STUFF HAPPENS! IT'S SOLOMON CROWE! He beats on him for a bit and gets no pop, in fact, it's the worse pop of the indy guys :lmao He takes the mic and says they return to your regularly scheduled broadcast.

Sasha Banks vs. Blue Pants
Good showcase for the new champ.

After the match; Sasha says being NXT champion means that everyone, including Becky, Bayley, and especially Charlotte, has to admit that she is the baddest diva in NXT.

After TakeOver went off the air, EMT's and Doctors helped Sami to the back, they then spoke to MR Z-PAK HIMSELF Dr. Chris Amann who says he thought it was best that the ref called for the bell. They've cleared Sami to return for action and to go overseas this week.

Adrian Neville vs. Kevin Owens
KO tries to do the same stalling to start the match that he did at TakeOver, but Neville goes right after him on the floor. He gets the brief upper hand but Owens is a better brawl so he's able to turn it around and take control. He does the same type of stuff he did against Sami. Stomps, boots and smothering Neville. Slowing down the pace with chinlocks, Neville has a fun comeback, I love that Owens keeps bailing after every big Neville move so he can't hit something else. But Neville is super awesome in this, he's like oh you wanna roll here fine. He's a dive move, you haven't seen before. Deadlift German gets two, he then sets Owens up for the Red Arrow but Owens moves he then catches Neville running in and hits the Pop-up powerbomb for the win. **3/4

NXT Episode 136
February 25th, 2015
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Hideo Itami vs. Bull Dempsey
FAT WHITE TAZ THAT DOESN'T THROW SUPLEXES IS STILL TERRIBLE, AND HIDEO'S RUN HERE IS STILL TRASH! Hideo wins with the one-legged sidekick for the win.

After the match; Tyler comes out and hits Hideo with a superkick, he then poses over him with the Selfie stick but takes too long to take the picture which allows Hideo to recover. He chases him to the ring, but Breeze escapes.

Next Week: Sasha vs. Charlotte

Tonight: Becky vs. Bayley & Finn vs. Brian Kendrick.

During Tye/Jordan's entrance, Soloman hacks the show. He says last week wasn't an introduction. It was a statement, he's here on a mission and that mission is to be NXT champion. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

The Lucha Dragons vs. Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger
Pretty much an angle match, Tye refuses to tag out, so he works 90% of the match. Jordan then yells at him to tag, but he says RELAX! Tye eventually goes to tag out but Jordan jumps off the apron and leaves. Kalisto hits SDS and Cara hits the senton bomb for the win. FUCK YEAH! THIS SHITTY TEAM IS DONE!

Backstage: Finn says he'll deal with Kevin Owens in due time, but he's focused on tonight. He can't look past Brian Kendrick.

Tye is still in the ring, he demands an explanation from Jordan before saying he’d take on whoever was scheduled to compete next. Baron Corbin then comes out for his match.

Tye Dillinger vs. Baron Corbin
SQUASH!

Backstage: Devin Taylor interviews Charlotte, she asks what her thoughts are going into her match with Sasha next week. Charlotte says she won't take anything away from Sasha, but she's never beaten her one on one. That title is coming back to where it belongs.

Tyler Breeze says Hideo fell right into his trap, and soon he will be squashed like the cockroach he is.

Next Week: Sami addresses the NXT fans.

Bayley vs. Becky Lynch
This keeps getting better, Becky is getting better but she's still not there yet, she only throws one Becksplex before going to the rest holds. Bayley makes a nice comeback, but Becky catches the arm and debuts the Disarmer for the win. Good shit. **1/4

Backstage: Devin Taylor asks Rhyno why he is here? He says all he kept hearing was NXT this, and NXT that so he decided to give it a watch. And what he saw was the guys had intensity, fire and drive in their eyes to be the best. He then looked in the mirror and saw the same intensity he had. He's here to make a statement by ripping people in half with a GORE! GORE! GORE!

During the break, the cameraman asks Jordan why he walked out on Tye and Jason says he did what he did and he'll give an explanation when he's ready.

Kevin Owens joins commentary.

Brian Kendrick vs. Finn Bálor
This gets 10 minutes, it's a pretty solid older babyface vs. new generation babyface. Finn gains the upper hand, so Kendrick suckers him in by faking an ankle injury to try to get an advantage but it backfires. The match is fine, but it's totally getting overshadowed by Owens destroying Riley on commentary about how terrible he is, and that's he's never been champion. Owens leaves before doing something he'll regret. Kendrick does some neat vet tricks just trying to last with the younger guy before Finn makes his usual comeback. He hits the running dropkick followed by Coup De Grace for the win. **1/2

After the match; Owens and Finn stare one another down...................BUT THEN THIS HAPPENS!

FUCK YEAH OWENS!

NXT Episode 137
March 4th, 2015
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Backstage: Alex Riley is in GM Regal's office and demands a match with Owens, Regal says he can either be a competitor or commentator. Alex says he watched Regal do both, and Regal says to look what happened to him. He faced Cesaro and got destroyed, and he's never competed again since. Alex says he's still in his prime and has a lot to contribute. Regal says he can have the match, but he has to choose to either be a competitor as a commentator. He can have the match, but he has to make the choice for himself. Riley leaves to make his decision.

Adam Rose vs. Tyler Breeze
GOD FUCKING DAMMIT! WHY IS HE BACK? UGH! And for some reason, he's the most over in this match, how times have changed. Rose does a bunch of weird shit that throws Breeze off his game early, they then both give each other crotch drops and sell their dicks for like a minute. This is terrible, and for some reason, Rose dominates 90% of the match. Until Breeze hits the Beautyshot out of nowhere for the win. 1/2*

In the back, A Cameraguy talks to Enzo, Cass, and Carmella. Enzo says he's talking about sweet boy, Frosted Flake Wesley Blake. And the Australian kid. Enzo says they got loose cheeks, and every time they speak, he hears bowel movements. They need to wipe the crap off their lips. Cass says they don't address Carmella like that. She says she threw up in his mouth. Enzo says she baby burped, and she says they need to beat them. Cass says when they become #1 Contenders, they'll beat the bacon right off their backs. Enzo says daddy's bringing home the bacon.

In the back, A Cameraguy asks Alexa Bliss what she's been up to. She says since her series with Sasha Banks, she needed to heal physically and mentally. She's in a good place, and whether she retains tonight or not, she's gunning for her. It's about time someone showed the Boss who's really in charge.

Blake & Murphy vs. Angelo Dawkins & Sawyer Fulton
Albert tries to but Fulton and a fatter Dawkins over as these mat wrestlers, which is hilarious considering they've done none of at amateur wrestling since they've gotten here. This is a pretty standard showcase for the champs, they give the jibbers a shit ton on offense before using their championship experience to hit the running suplex followed by a Frog splash for the win. *

In the locker room, Bayley and Charlotte are talking. Bayley wishes her luck, and Charlotte says Sasha is going to need luck and walks off. Emma then comes over and Bayley asks if she wants to use the bubble machine like old times. Emma shakes her head no, and Bayley asks if she wants to watch the main event with her. Emma asks if she wants to watch the match that she should have been in, but she lost at Takeover because she was giving high tens and throwing headbands and hugging people. It's just like her. She did the same thing on Raw, she was nice, and look where it got her. Back here at NXT. Just something to think about. Good shit.

God damn, Rhyno video package airs. I miss 99 - 01 Rhyno so much.

Tony Briggs vs. Baron Corbin
Corbin squash.

Sometime during the match, Kevin Owens comes out to commentary and stares down Riley. After the match, we cut theirs with Owens still staring a hole through him. Albert tries to get him to concentrate on commentary and him does by turning his back to him. So, Owens steals his water AND POURS IT ON HIS HEAD. Albert holds back Riley back as stands up in Kev's face, Owens turns his back daring him to him before leaving. This feud is great, just a shame its with that shithead Riley and not Regal, or someone who is above average in the ring.

Sami Zayn is in the mean streets of Montreal Canada, he says Abu Dhabi was great, and in his short time away from NXT, he can't help but notice and feel like the landscape is changing dramatically and in a hurry. New faces, old faces. A new women's champion, and at the top, Kevin Owens. He's sorry he's not there in person, but he's filming this on March 1st, and it's his 13 year anniversary in this business, and for the first time in 13 years, he feels like he's not mentally prepared to be there right now. That's why he's here, walking the streets at two in the morning. He came home to get some perspective. He hasn't watched the match back just yet, but he plans on it. When he does, maybe then he can put into words what he plans on doing to Kevin Owens.

CJ Parker is complaining to Regal and Riley comes in. He says Owens is running roughshod and he wants Owens in the ring and he'll quit. Regal says he respects that, but he has to give him a talent contract first, and then he won't get Kevin Owens until he thinks he's ready. CJ laughs and says to give him a break. He's the only one to ever put a scar on Kevin Owens, and Riley that's fine he'll start with CJ next week.

Bull Dempsey vs. Solomon Crowe
I like Sami, I do, but this gimmick is a bust, he looks nothing like a hacker and he seems to have toned down all the crazy shit that got him hired. They brawl around for a bit, but for some reason, this is built about making Bull look like a tough Bully. He misses the shitty headbutt which allows Solo to make a comeback and hit a slingshot splash off the rope for a win. What a shitty finisher. Everything about this is bad. *

NXT Woman's Championship: Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks
Good story to start, with Charlotte coming out the aggressor but Sasha keeps ducking and avoiding her at all cost. She tries to take a count out about a minute in, but Charlotte brings her back in and hits these awesome knees from the cravat position. She quickly applies the figure four softening up the champs knees. During the break, commercial air for Owens/Finn for the NXT title on March 25th. Back now and Sahsa is in full control and isn't sell the knee :( Charlotte keeps busting out new shit like the running backpack chin breaker, and she also goes for the moonsault but lands on her feet, the then tries the senton but Sasha has that scouted and gets the knees up to hurt the back. Good bully Sasha shit, like she does the double knees in the corner spot but does it to the back, she also pulls the back around the ringpost. Sasha busts out the straightjacket hold, just twisting Charlotte like a pretzel but keeping the "Boss" gimmick by trash-talking her the whole time. Sadly Charlotte isn't a good seller at all, her version selling is laying on the mat prone which makes sense logically cause when you hut your back you don't really be rolling around on it. They do some counters and it's fine, but clearly, Charlotte still has a long way to go and their actual best stuff is on the main roster in about a year. Charlotte hits a spear to set up a comeback, and goes back to the knee she hurt at the beginning of the match. Charlotte makes the rare mistake by not following up on the knee, she gets flashy and tries the Natural Selection off the top but Sasha grabs the ropes to block and rolls her up with her feet on the ropes to retain the title. Good shit. ***

NXT Episode 138
March 11th, 2015
Full Sail University: Orlando, Florida

Before the match, Enzo and Cass do their usual stuff. Cass then says as for the Lucha Dragons, you call yourself "DRAGONS" Enzo then says more like the Geico lizard. Cass says either save of 15% or more on our auto insurance or get the heck out of out way :lmao

Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady vs. The Lucha Dragons
Enzo is wrestling in the leopard KD 7's which is an underrated sneaker, this is one of the unofficial #1 contenders match where commentators talk about it, but it's not really set in stone. Kalisto/Enzo is solid mainly because it's Kalisto wrestling circles around him and Enzo looking lost the whole time. Cass has some decent power stuff and I've noticed he's getting flappy now, he belly keeps giggling now and it's distracting. Quiz status almost here. The story is Lucha dragons are so much more skilled than Enzo so they can dominate him, Cass has to keep saving him and when he's in the Dragon's have no answer for him. Cass has a fun hot tag towards the end, he hits the East River Crossing, followed by the Rocket Launcher double team Enzo splash for the win. **

Next Week: NXT invades the "ARNOLD CLASSIC" Kevin Owens vs. Alex Riley & Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks.

Carmella vs. Alexa Bliss
This gets a decent amount of time, Bliss has gotten better, she's working more heelish and more aggressive. Most of her offense is still flashy rollups attempts. Mella is decent, but it's the same stuff she's did against Emma and Blue Pants. Bliss has a killa ELBOW, it's not Nikki level but still dope. But it gets no sold and Mella wears her down with a hawt body scissors. Bliss has a solid comeback and hits twisted bliss for the win. *3/4

In the locker room, a camera guy asks Riley what his thoughts are coming back from a 2-year absence. Riley says what if you were locked in a cage for two years starving, watching everyone around you eat every single day. Being told there is no room for you, you are dedicated to this and just begging for one chance but being told maybe next week kid. Riley thanks Owens for giving him this out, he says Owens talks about fighting for his family. Well, I have no family, my family are the people in the crowd and it's time I join them. IT'S TIME RAGE!

Backstage: Tyler Breeze is on his video phone. He says this didn't have to get ugly with Hideo. Well, since Hideo is in it, maybe it did. It's them again tonight, and it's time for him to find out that he's not just a pretty face.

CJ Parker vs. Alex Riley
SAY IT TO MY FACE! Say what you want about how terrible Riley is, but that song kinda goes hard. Riley has one of those jacked up 1995 main event bodies, it looks like he just ate a bunch of roids and just lifted weights. He looks huge, he also doesn't look like he's worked cardio the entire time. So he gets pretty gassed early on, and they do the story with Riley have ring rust so CJ dominates 90% of the match. It's kinda hard to get into mainly because they've already advertised the Owens match next week and two these guys both suck. Riley avoids the palm strike and makes a comeback before hitting the Blockbuster for the win. 3/4*

Kevin Owens comes out on the stage and says it's good that Alex looks as good as he does because he's the dumbest man in NXT. If that horrible tattoo on his back doesn't prove that, the fact that he ended his commentating career to fight HIM does. He's gonna end his in-ring career too, and he'll put an end to the rise of Finn Balor. Trust him.

Owens leaves and Riley breaks down and starts crying AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Tyler Breeze vs. Hideo Itami
This is a better use of Breeze, not like that piece of shit Rose match from last week. Tyler keeps stalling as he anticipates Hideo throwing a kick. It's the standard NXT opening now, where the guy or girl stalls early to frustrate the opponent more times than not it fails now. Hideo has a nice run to start, he's still holding back and his strikes don't have that stiffness that it use to. Breeze takes over after crotching him onto the top turnbuckle. FUCK YEAH! A BREEZE IS RATCHET CHANTS BREAKS OUT :lmao but sadly, it gets cut due to the break. Breeze works the head, and again it's the standard NXT stuff headlocks, chinlocks and other holds to fill the time. They go back and forth towards the end, Hideo is now starting to stiffen up his strikes and so does Breeze to some degree. Tyler dodges the corner dropkick, and hits the Beauty Shot for the win. **1/2

NXT Episode 139
March 18th, 2015
Columbus, Ohio

For the first time in 138 episodes, NXT has left those losers in Orlando and hit the road.

SbXyBo2.jpg

I like the look of this build, it small and compact.

Kalisto vs. Tyler Breeze
I might have to go back and check, but this might be the best TV opener that is not a takeover match in NXT history, opening 3 minutes or so is dope. They have this awesome fast pace spot sequence, with both men taking risks until Tyler uses his head and dropkicks Kalisto out of mid-air to take over. Breeze busts outs his late 14/early 15 aggressive streak and beats on Kalisto he doesn't really iso a body part just wear him down until it's Kalisto's time to make a comeback, BUT FUCK THAT TYLER KILLS HIM WITH THE SUPERMODEL KICK WHEN KALISTIO TRIES THE FLIPPY STUFF OUT OF MID AIR! That gets a two, both starting getting more and more flashier with their stuff, Kalisto hits a 450 for two, it looks like hurt Breeze as he stumbles around. Kalisto then goes for SDS but Breeze flips him over and hits the Beauty Shot for the win. Good first match, I want more. ***

Video Package of this AWESOME Owens/Riley feuds airs.

Backstage: Alexa Bliss says she so excited to be here in her hometown to show everyone what she's capable of, but on a series note she's also gonna show Sasha what she's all about too.

Footage of all the stuff the NXT wrestlers did in Cleveland. E.G. Make a Wish, Tryouts, Arnold Classis, Triple getting an award. House show matches and HULK HOGAN SAYING THE NXT TITLE WOULD LOOK GOOD AROUND HIS WAIST!

Backstage: Alex Riley is warming up for his match when Finn comes over. He says he knows he has Owens tonight, but he has him next week and will be watching like a HAWK! Riley says good cause he gets to watch him get revenge on him. Riley says he's gonna RAGE tonight. Finn tries to tell him not to overlook Kevin Owens after all he's done or he might be done too.

More footage airs of Hunter giving the guys and girls pep talks and footage airs of the house shows from Cleveland.

Enzo, Cass, and Mella come out they run through all their catchphrases. Cass says Arnold liked to pump iron. They like to pump fists, and Blake better pump the breaks before he runs into a frickin' roadblock. Enzo says as, for the Australian kid, he should didgeridoo himself a favor while he still has that title, kick rocks in flip flops, break a toe, and skedaddle sweet boy. Cass says they're the next NXT Tag Team Champions and there's only one word to describe these guys, S.A.W.F.T!

Wesley Blake (w/Buddy Murphy) vs. Colin Cassady (W/Enzo Amore & Carmella)
Angle match, it also shows they neither guy will ever cut it as a singles. Cass runs through some generic big man 101 offense to start, Blake wheaters that and catches him nick first on the top rope to takeover. These Cleveland idiots begins chanting USA not knowing that Blake is from San Antonio and Murphy is the one from Australia. Blake wears Cass down with holds for like a minute before Cass makes a comeback, Murphy gets on the apron and so does Mella to argue with him, so Cass boots him off. Blake then shoves him into the ropes and that knocks Mella off. That allows Blake to roll Cass up for the win. *3/4

After the match; Mella holds her knee or ankle IDK.

DANA BROOK VIDEO PACKAGE!!!!!!! IT'S HAPPENING!

Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks
Bliss doesn't get the pop like at all, so it makes Albert and Graves talk about her hometown advantage sound hilarious. Bliss comes out pissed and tries to get revenge on Banks breaking her nose by slamming it over and over into the mat. Sasha uses her experience to takeover and begins kicking her face into the bottom turnbuckle for revenge. Bully-Banks is great, and now with the backstory of these two's dislike for one another it makes some of the strikes and rag dolling Sasha does to her look a little spicy. Bliss has some nice fire in her comeback, she also shows signs of desperation at wanting to win for "her people" Sasha notices the and bails to the floor, she gets too cocky and Bliss shoves her into the ringpost and rolls back in for the countout win. Good for the short time it got. **1/2

Backstage: Kevin Owens says he's gonna make Riley regret quitting that cushy job he had on commentary, but he gets it, Riley has to prove that he's still a man. But the fact is, he cannot and not against him. Af far as Finn goes next week, he takes him out too and shows the world that no one will take his title away from him and his family.

Backstage: Bliss is celebrating her win, when Banks comes over. They argue but Regal comes over and makes the match of Sasha/Bliss next week for the NXT WOMAN'S CHAMPIONSHIP! :mark:

Alex Riley vs. Kevin Owens
This angle must have gotten cut short because no way 1 match back and the win was over a jobber like CJ Parker means his ready for the NXT champion. This is shockingly good, 99% due to Owens caring and for some reason wanting to make Riley look decent. He's also super over, so we get "MR. WRESTLING" & "KILL OWENS KILL" chants. I'll give Riley the 1% as he's bumping around, for everything and he takes a nasty bump face first into the middle turnbuckle giving Owens his heat back, same story with Alex still being "rusty" and not on the champ's level so Owens dominates this, Kev bust out his funny trash talk cause he starts not taking this serious, which allows Riley to make a comeback. This might be the best Riley has ever looked, outside that beating, he gave Miz when he turned. He has tons of fire and hate. But in the end, he can't hang with Owens and Owens hits a pop-up powerbomb for the win. **1/2

It's a shame this feud has come to an end, it's the 2nd best feud of the year so far.

After the match; Owens goes to leave but sees Riley on the floor. He tries the apron powerbomb but Finn makes the save. They brawl on the floor, in the ring Finn hits the running dropkick but Owens rolls out as Finn tries to CGD to end the show.
