Reigns will be wrestling at Battlegrounds in the 3 way.

Comes back 3 days before it. Just make him eat the pin simple.

One thing that does bug me is WWE knew about it at MITB, why couldn't Seth beat Roman clean again and then proceed to injure him or something along the lines of that? Could have had Seth/Dean at Battlegrounds and have it end with Roman attacking both guys. Then 3 way at Summerslam.
Because the suspension ends 3 days before Battleground....and the draft ensures one of these guys won't be able to interact with their Shield brethren for a long time.

Jeff Hardy got popped and had to lose the ic title as a result the following Monday.

Guys like Orton, Umaga, Kennedy all had to get injury angles after it was announced they tested positive.

A guy in Reigns position getting suspended really legitimizes the wellness policy again. Especially is someone like Brock doesn't piss hot from his reported 5 USADA tests he took right after his fight was announced.
Anything is possible with the WWE, but I doubt they'd have him come out twice after a failed test. Working MITB to drop the belt would have been one thing, but it wouldn't make sense to book him on Raw in a number one contenders match. It wasn't advertised and he already dropped the belt. I think WWE would have gone on major damage control if it was known before MITB. It just seems like an odd series of choices if they did.

I agree, though, it was the right call to announce the suspension. Brock getting popped is not a good sign for WWE.

Gonna be hilarious seeing him at Battleground after not being able to build up the match at all. Definitely a bad time for Roman. Hope he learns.

I'm hearing speculation now that he may have been popped for taking anti-depressants or WWE will just say he was. Which may explain WWE going through with plans as usual. It'll be interesting to see how they promote Battleground w/o him.

It's not surprising that the WWE would protect their investment in Reigns. This triple threat match / angle where the Shield faces off is a big deal and something that may not happen again for a long time. If they really felt the need to punish Reigns, they still could once the match was done.

In all likelihood, beyond the stipulated 30 days, the WWE will temper any further fallout based on circumstances. If he has no history of trouble with the company and he wasn't caught using illegal narcotics, don't be surprised if his punishment isn't severe. And if it turns out it was a prescribed medication, but Reigns didn't do the work to make sure the office got a notice properly from his physician, I would expect no real punishment beyond loss of pay for the duration of the 30 day suspension.

Even had the PPV fallen on day 20 of the suspension, I suspect they'd still have him work the match. Several years ago, those Wellness suspensions had affected PPVs to the point they changed up enforcement. I believe they had Orton or someone of that caliber work a PPV date, but wasn't paid his usual bonuses.

At least this won't effect the triple threat match at Battleground.. His suspension ends before then.. Have him return at the PPV and have Reigns or Rollins win the title.. Ambrose is likely a transitional champion anyways.. He only won the title to get to this triple threat at Battleground., because WWE isn't creative enough to get to that match another way.

Needed to insert Ambrose so they have atleast two guys to build up this match in Reigns absence.

Furthering the speculation that WWE knew about his failure well before MITB

Wouldn't mean much either way.

It's not an athletic commission doing this, it's the company, which under law do not have to even have a drug testing policy in place.

If Warner Brothers don't have to test their contracted performers, then WWE doesn't either.

I wanted the triple threat at SummerSlam and even with this suspension I didn't get my wish. They could have at least had singles matches between Reigns/Rollins/Ambrose for a couple months to build it. Rushed bookin' in the first place since there isn't a better main event for SummerSlam unless it's Reigns/Lesnar which might make me happy after this entire debacle but that is doubtful. No Reigns for a few weeks is quite depressin' though.

And no a rematch for a triple threat wouldn't change my mind.
