FUCK YOU! In the words of the most electrifying man in movie-industry "I'M BACK AND I PROMISE TO NEVER EVER LEAVE AGAIN" :rock3:

WCW Monday Night Nitro
April 14th, 1997
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

World Champion: Hollywood Hogan
United States Champion: Dean Malenko
World Tag Team Champions: The Outsiders
World Television Champion: Ultimo Dragon
Cruiserweight Champion: Syxx
Women’s Champion: Akira Hokuto

Video recap airs of last week’s events between the nWo, and with DDP & Sting.

Tony lets us know that Lex Luger is cashing in his title shot TONIGHT! The nWo head out minus Hall and Hogan, they take over the announce position and run Tony and Larry off; Philly is pro-new World order. Nash acknowledges that Philly is nWo country; he then tells Lex he has to go through him to get his shot. And everyone knows that Kevin Nash and the nWo are just 2SWEEEEET!

Chris Benoit vs. The Barbarian (w/Jimmy Hart)
No woman tonight and Benoit has his right hand heavily taped up :hm: Benoit beats the shit out of him early in the corner. He hits a bridged northern lights for two, before Hart trips him up. Benoit chases him around the ring before punching him down. That allows Barbarian to sneak attack Benoit to gain control. Benoit rails a German and heads up top but gets cut off and Barbarian follows him up top and nails a fuckin’ SUPER BELLY TO BELLY THROW! Benoit nearly lands in the opposite corner. Barbarian misses a Flying Headbutt and Benoit connects with one of his own for the win. Post-Match: The Dungeon of Doom attack and put Benoit in the Tree of Woe allowing Jacque and Kevin to hit the running knee, but HOLY SHIT! Mongo and Jarrett run down to make the save, WHAT! Horsemen saving one another SWERVE! As for the match; short but damn good. **1/2

"Mean Gene" Okerlund comes in for an interview. Benoit talks about all Kevin does is ramble and rant, and sure he hasn’t done the right thing and Kevin might be his karma or perhaps Kevin is the pelage and he has to destroy him. The time is coming and the sun will set on his career.

WCW US Championship: Malenko vs. Hector Guerrero
Didn’t Hector get squashed by Sullivan last week? Now he’s getting a US title shot? GOD DAMMIT! After some mat work and wuick rollups. Dean is like fuck this and locks in a STF but breaks just to whip him in the corner for a clothesline. Hector makes a brief comeback sending Dean to the floor and hits this weird spring off the ropes and splashes Malenko on the floor. Back in Hector tries a backslide but Dean Counters into the Tiger Driver and locks in the Cloverleaf for the win. He refuses to break the hold until Eddie comes down. FACE OFF ON THE ENTRACNCE! As Dean tells Eddie he’s bringing out a side of him he doesn’t want. *1/2

1SkYbgO.gif

Reggie White is in attendance. He’s here to get a match with Steve McMichael! Oh goodie.

Juventud Guerrera vs. Rey Mysterio, Jr.
LUCHA to start; with Juvi kicking Rey in the face before coming back with a nice little back stretch. The fight for moves before both men go flying over the top on a botched Juvi head headscissors out to the floor. Juvi throws him into the rails before sunset flip powerbombing Rey to the floor. Juvi hits a springboard knee drop and counters a German; they go counter-for counter until Juventud springboards into a dropkick. SPRINGBOARD HURRACANRANA from Rey gets the win. They tried to jam pack 1,004 flips into a 3 minutes match so it sucked. *

sGXpDuS.gif

"Mean Gene" Okerlund interviews Luna Vachon about Madusa; COME BACK ERIC PLZ! Also Luna calling Madusa the Woman’s champ even though she not is hilarious and sums up WCW perfectly.

WCW TV Championship: Lane Carlson vs. Ultimo Dragon (w/Sonny Oono)
Sonny is still taking selfies with Dragon on the entrance still cracks me up; he deserves credit for inventing it :side: This was pretty much a Dragon showcase for TV; lots of kicks and dick antics for lulz like picking him up at two and allowing Mr. Selfie to get kicks in on the floor. Dragon would win after a top rope spinning Frankensteiner followed by Dragonplex with a bridge for the win.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Syxx vs. Prince Iaukea
So Prince goes from losing the TV title last week to getting a Cruiserweight title shot this week lolwat? No such thing as rematch in contracts? Syxx bumps great for Iaukea, and makes Prince look good. That last a good few minutes until Syxx hits a desperation spinkick and begins to work the head and neck. Prince has a nice mini-comeback but misses a crossbody off the top allowing Syxx to beat on Prince in the corner before hitting the Bronco Buster. Syxx misses a senton splash allowing Prince to make his comeback, he hits a springboard lariat for two and heads up top but Syxx cuts him off only to get headbutted off. Prince hits a sunset flip pin but cause Syxx’s shoulders were not down full he only got a two. Syxx then locks in the Buzzkill Crossface for the win. Really fun match that almost makes me forget how bad of a champ Prince was he’s so much better as an underdog challenger. **3/4

"Mean Gene" Okerlund brings out Ric Flair& Kevin Greene. Rowdy" Roddy Piper is followed when they get to the ring. Gene lets us know that these 3 will face the new World order at the next PPV. Piper refers to Hogan as the big bald guy :lmao Piper then calls the nWo a bunch of gorillas and calls them stupid. He makes fun of Eric wearing Rodman t-shirts and says the nWo are all in the closet :lmao WHAT? Piper rambles on about cutting down tries before saying he paved the way before Greene gets on the mic and says; he did what he said by taking his vitamins and said his prayers and it worked but now he turned his back and joined a bunch of rookies just like the NFL :lmao He then says Piper and Flair made wrestling; while the nWo was busy sucking breast milk :lmao Flair says in runs down some dates and gets the date wrong when he faced Savage at Mania he called it 1993 when we all know it was 1992. He says some shit that I have idea what before all 3 get HYPED! That was a mess.

Philadelphia Street Fight: High Voltage vs. Public Enemy
Public are super over, which is not shocking seeing how they got their start in Philly and are wearing Flyers jersey. Before the match Public set up the tables on the outside before getting in and its all weapons shots and ECW! Chants. There are a few minutes of trash can brawling until Public set up a double stack of tables. Rage gets put on top and they QUEBECER CRASH through the tables for the win. Just a Public showcase in a hawt loud Philly crowd, good for them. *1/4

959dMpj.gif

The Giant vs. Big Al

Guess who big Al is?? No not Al Snow, it’s 9fuckin’11 WAT! I didn’t know he jumped ship. And his debut is in Philly, Oh Eric you brilliant asshole. Anyway this is the battle of the chokeslam and guess who won? WRONG! Giant did and it was like in a minute :lmao

Konnan vs. Diamond Dallas Page (w/Kimberly Page)
Konnan tells Kimberly to suck it with the DX chop; so Page tries to break his arm off. Konnan gets the better with strikes but after a back suplex he signals for the Diamond cutter but Konnan pokes him in the eyes and whips Page into the ropes but Page floats over and Diamond Cutters him for the win. Post-Match:Savage and Liz are in the crows, Savage calls him stupid and tells Page to tell Kimberly to stop calling him :lmao Page is pissed and hops the rails climbing over fans to get to Savage.

T747yUU.gif

Some bum Ray Rhodes is in the crowd before that ASSHOLE Lee Marshall talks about his gay party. He takes a shot at Heenan and Heenan says he wants to put Lee in a the trunk of a car and drive it into the Detroit river MURDER!

Harlem Heat (w/Sister Sherri) vs. Jeff Jarrett & Steve McMichael (w/Debra)
Jarrett and Booker start; and if you were to tell me in 3 years these two would be main eventing WCW for the world title back in ’97 I would have laughed my ass off. Anyway, the brief time they had ruled before Stevie and Mongo slug it out. Mongo slams both Heat members as we go to a commercial. When we return, Harlem Heat is isolating Jarrett. Booker hits the Scissors Kick and taunts Mongo while Sherri chokes Jarrett in the ropes. Double suplex gets two. When Jarrett tries a sunset flip. Harlem Side Kick gets two. Jarrett ducks an enziguri and tries the figure-four, but Stevie Ray makes the save. The match breaks down and the Haliburton gets involved. Debra goes to use the Haliburton on Stevie, Sherri comes in and takes it and hits Mongo by accident and Mongo no-sells it. Jarrett takes it and goes to hit Booker but Sherri takes it back and goes to hit Debra, but Debra ducks a Haliburton shot from Sherri, who still whacks her on the head by accident and Sherri gets hit too. Oh this is a DQ UGH! Bitches ruin everything.

TUvSIxX.gif

"Mean Gene" Okerlund interview the Horsemen in the ring, He announces that Mongo has indeed signed the contract to face Reggie White at Slamboree. Mongo gets on the mic and claims the only way Reggie could win a Super Bowl was to leave Philadelphia. He left for the money too! SHOTS FIRED! Reggie White jumps the rail and hops into the ring to confront Mongo, they go face-to-face as Mongo spits in his fuckin’ face RACIST! Reggie takes him down before officials and Jarrett pull them apart, that was awesome.

Lex Luger vs. Kevin Nash (w/The new World order)
Scott Hall is still drunk and MIA, Hollywood Hogan is not in the building at all and Randy Savage in the back with crutches so he’s not at ringside. Nash beats on him in the corner to star, before Lex makes a comeback hitting everything in sight before Nash kills him with a big boot. Side Slam gets two. He follow that up with the Snake Eyes and the Bossman straddle. Nash continues to dominate until Lex hits the Loaded Forearm. Here comes the nWo into the ring for the DQ. Post-Match: The numbers catch up to Lex until DDP tries to save him, but gets murdered for his efforts as well. Giant makes his way back down, but he's walking. Nash has a lead pipe in his hand. Giant stops and stares at Nash, then starts walking faster. Sting comes out with four bats, hands one to Luger, one to Giant and one to DDP. And they head to the ring and corner the nWo. After an intense staredown, Nash takes a swing at Sting with the pipe, Sting ducks and kills Nash with the baseball bat. Luger, Giant & DDP chase the rest of the nWo off. With their plan foiled, it seems like Kevin Nash has more reason to be pissed at Hollywood Hogan for not showing up. Must have been busy ranting on PHX’s 8D

Also I was going over this and I began counting Ex-ECW guys and it was up to 14 :lmao Oh and RIP! ROWDY RODDY PIPER WHO DIED while i was mid-way watching this, sad to see hear of the passing but I won't take it easy on you when i review the shit you're involved in.

WCW Monday Night Nitro
April 21st, 1997
Saginaw, Michigan

World Champion: Hollywood Hogan
United States Champion: Dean Malenko
World Tag Team Champions: The Outsiders
World Television Champion: Ultimo Dragon
Cruiserweight Champion: Syxx
Women’s Champion: Akira Hokuto

Nitro opens with James J. Fuckin’ Dillon exiting a limo and entering the arena.

WCW US Championship: Yuji Nagata vs. Dean Malenko
I always find it weird when someone debuts with no build and gets a title shot. Tony tells us these two use to team in Japan a lot, so I guess that’s the reason behind the title shot. Feeling out process to start, before Dean takes over on the mat; the match picks up once Dean chops him and Yuji hits him with a quick enziguri as this hot crowd begins the “USA” chant, Yuji locks in a side-headlock for a few minutes until a back suplex breaks that and Dean begins to take over. The camera shows Reggie White is here again, so the announcers speed the remaining time of the match talking about him and Mongo. Yuji begins to play dirt by going to the eyes and takes a cheap shot while he has Dean in a chin lock. Jumping calf kick by Dean gets two but as Yuji kicks away Dean leg whips him, but Yuji no sells and T-Bones suplex Dean for two. Waist lock belly-to-belly gets another two but Dean blocks a kick and locks in the Texas Cloverleaf for the win. UGH! I really hated this for some reason; it was just moves no real story no selling. Pretty bad debut and I’m very disappointed in Dean. *

Ciclope vs. Glacier
Glacier wins in 30 with some shitty kick. Post-Match: Glacier does his gay ass martial arts display in the laser lights, until Wrath appears and distracts Glacier long enough for Mortis to appears and drill him with his own superkick. Mortis & Vandenburg come from the ring and beat the shit out of Glacier. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Tony tells us that, since Eric Bischoff is no longer in charge, the WCW board of directors have made JJ Dillon the Chairman of the WCW Executive Committee.

Nick Patrick comes out to the announcer's booth and says that he's petitioning to be reinstated as an official WCW referee and runs down the nWo and puts WCW over. MVPATRICK!

WCW TV Championship: Bobby Eaton vs. Ultimo Dragon (w/Sonny Oono)
Eaton getting another title shot :lmao I legit think Eaton has had more title shots than Hogan has had matches in 1997 :lmao Dragon dominates for 3 minutes, with Eaton getting a couple of shots in before Dragon ends it with the Spinning Hurracanrana off the top and the Dragon Sleeper for the win. **

"Mean Gene" Okerlund interviews Lord Steven Regal; Gene asks if he has been spending time with one of the Dutchesses of England, Sara Ferguson. And Regal says it was like spending the night with a ripped out and destroyed bloody fire place, JESUS! Regal then announces at the next PPV he will have a match with Dragon for the TV title; he calls all Americans pathetic for not being able to beat him. He then says he’s the only thing on WCW watchable.

Chris Jericho vs. Meng (w/Jimmy Hart)
Meng overpowers him right away and Jericho uses speed to dropkick the knee, but Meng shakes it off and chops his head off. Jericho swats a missile dropkick away before back suplexing Jericho to take control. Jericho comes back with kicks and attempts the Lionsault. Meng was supposed to catch him, but it doesn’t work out. Jericho pushes off the Snake Eyes and hits a bridging German suplex for two. He tries a flying headscissors, but Meng stands his ground and hotshots Jericho and he and walks into the Tongan Death Grip for the win. *3/4

"Mean Gene" Okerlund interviews Jimmy Hart and Meng stands by. Jimmy says that tonight is the night the Dungeon of Doom turns The Monster Meng loose on Chris Benoit. Kevin and Jacque come out and Kevin calls Meng the baddest man in wrestling, he then says Benoit wants to talk about karma and the karma he has is all bad; he let his family go they didn’t leave him. Kevin brings up his daughter and tells here to keep him mouth shut. Meng tells Jacque and Kevin if he wanted to he can take them both out.

Chris Benoit video tribute cause he’s the fuckin’ man.

Public Enemy vs. The Steiner Brothers
Before the match, in the back Konnan & Hugh Morrus are attacking the Steiner’s AGAIN this week, backstage. They dispose of Konnan & Morrus when security arrives. Rick and Scott eventfully do make it to the ring and Steiner’s dominate until Morrus and Konnan come thru the crowd and attack the Steiner’s. Public Enemy help the Steiner’s and the four of them beat up Konnan & Morrus up the rampway. Way to fuck the people over in Michigan out of a Steiner’s match :lmao

"Mean Gene" Okerlund introduces J.J Dillon on the aisleway; JJ says it’s a real honor to be in this role. Tony cuts him off and asks about to situation with Nick Patrick; JJ says it’s being taken under advisement. JJ says Eric Bischoff has authority over WCW and he may be visual but he’s got some bad news, Eric’s contract is he has an iron-clad contract with WCW. What that means is he will retain his title and continue to get a paycheck, but he still has no authority. Out comes Eric looking like a pedo, JJ says with 2 exceptions, the nWo is here to stay. He says in a window of opportunity, Bagwell & Norton got out of their WCW contracts and made nWo contracts in time, VK Wallstreet and Big Bubba, however, did not. They are still members of WCW. Eric cuts him off and he tells him to bite him, and he knows he wants to fire him but can’t and the bottom line is he can’t stop him doing what he wants with the nWo and He makes JJ Dillon admit that he made WCW the biggest thing in wrestling and now he wants to make the new World order bigger than WCW, JJ has a problem with it. JJ pretty much says the gold standard of pro wrestling was set by "New York, Stamford Connecticut to be exact" and all Bischoff did was take Turner's trust and money and buy the #1 spot in pro wrestling. Bischoff says “Bite me”, and leaves.

Scotty Riggs vs. Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra)
HOLY SHIT! This is awful; Riggs is plain horrible. Jarrett keeps getting out smarted due to his cockiness. Mongo comes out with the Hailburton briefcase to help Jarrett but REGGIE WHITE! Hops the railing and steals the Haliburton briefcase from Mongo and runs him backstage. Riggs botches a dropkick into the corner, hurting his knee, and Jarrett locks in the Figure Four to win.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Syxx (w/Kevin Nash)
Syxx uses the height and strength to get the better early, with Rey using speed to counter. Rey bitch slaps him and uses the headsissors take down but he goes for one too much high risk and Syxx makes him pay with a press slam. Syxx hits two quick leg drops before hitting the Bronco Buster. Syxx locks in the abdominal stretch and uses the ropes for leverage; the ref catches him and kicks the hand away leading to Nash having words with him. Syxx throws Rey to the floor allowing Nash to stalk him, Rey sees it coming and crawls away as Tony reminds us of the amazing lawn dart throw in 1996. Rey comes back with headscissors takedowns. And a top rope ‘Rana and Syxx bails to the floor. Somersault plancha by Mysterio! Rey heads back in to celebrate, but here comes Nash to big boot and JACKKNIFE! Apparently the ref didn’t see or hear 8D anyway, Syxx applies the BUZZ KILLER (crossface chicken wing) for the win. JJ heads down with security, to escort Nash and Syxx out of here. Meanwhile, Mysterio gets carried out on a stretcher. **1/2 - **3/4

That murder Lex Luger gets a video package too, man what is this MURDER APPRECIATION NIGHT!

Speaking about murder, Lee Marshall is here; he gives us some facts that had nothing to do with wrestling and talks about just awful jokes. Seriously who writes this shit? I think Heenan asks him to kill himself again.

Hogan is on another movie set; what a world champion.

Psychosis vs. Diamond Dallas Page (w/Kimberly)
This doesn’t last long. Psychosis gets one dropkick in and then DDP stops him up top to bring him down with the DIAMOND CUTTER! For the win. Post-Match: Randy Savage & Liz are in the crowd again. If you can’t feel the Madness, ask Kimberly because she sure has felt it. DDP doesn’t chase him this week; he calls Liz a bimbo again and asks Savage to be a man and come down to fight him. Savage and Liz leave, oh well :(

w7JyIuU.gif

"Mean Gene" Okerlund brings out Roddy Piper, Ric Flair, and Kevin Greene for a response. They all lay on the floor and beg for the nWo to pave the highway, well here they come but Nash stops them. THEY THROW THE 2SWEETS UP AND OUT COME SCOTT FUCKIN’ HALL :mark: Big hug for Syxx and Nash as they spread out around the ring. Vincent, Norton and Fake sting get squashed. Standoff again with the new World order trying to get the sneak and as soon as they enter the ring the tape ends NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

World Champion: Hollywood Hogan
United States Champion: Dean Malenko
World Tag Team Champions: The Outsiders
World Television Champion: Ultimo Dragon
Cruiserweight Champion: Syxx
Women’s Champion: Akira Hokuto

Because of the NBA playoffs airing on TNT, the next four weeks of Nitros will only be one hour. YAY! WCW fears NBA! It’s not even the finals :lmao they are just building it as the “NBA Playoffs” PUSSIES!

Video airs of Ric Flair beating Big Van Vader for the world title at Starrcade ’93 (love that match)

Rowdy Roddy Piper and Ric Flair come over to the announcer’s position. Piper says he’s getting tired of hear about the nWo and he’s had it with them, he doesn’t want to wait and tells them to give them their best shot, or don’t bother shooting at all. Flair says they’re ready to go as he dances lolwat?

WCW US Championship: Prince Iaukea vs. Dean Malenko
So not only did he lose his Cruiserweight title match like 2 weeks ago, now he’s getting his rematch :lmao Split-Screen; with Jeff Jarrett as he challenges to Malenko for a US title and for RESPECT! At Slamboree. Prince uses the speed to frustrate Dean along with counters, Dean is allowing this fuck to dominate like 80% of this and it sucks. They do this terrible spot with Dean powerbombing him but somehow Prince rolls him up for two. Thankfully; Dean locks in the Texas Cloverleaf like a minute later for the win.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Juventud Guerrera vs. Syxx
Juvi locks in a sidehead lock to start, but switches and sends Syxx to the floor with a headscissors. Back in, Juvi connects with a spin kick but botches the turn buckles run allowing Syxx to connect with a sweet spin kick of his own. Bronco Buster by Syxx leads to a delayed vertical suplex for two. Syxx controls the match for a bit until he tries one too many high risk moves off the top allowing Juvi to botch his first attempt at a springboard ‘Rana. He would hit a spinning one off the top for two and he the springboard sento dropkick thing move gets another two, Juvi seems to go for some sort of Ace Crusher, but Syxx grabs him and locks in the Crossface "Buzzkiller" for the win.

So they have to cut the show buy 40 minutes and keep the fuckin’ smurfs air time; fuck you ted, fuck you eric, fuck you jj and FUCK YOU WCW! I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE IN LAKELAND, FLORIDA.

Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Syxx invade the announce position YES! Bobby ditching asap is amazing but, not as hilarious as past attempts. Hall says he heard what the dinosaurs had to say, well to them he says “WHATEVER” and no one cares what they have to say because everyone is here to see them. Nash says at the PPV he has no problem giving them the beating of their lives, but they want 75% of the gate. Nash then says he misses Hogan; nWo 4LIFE 2SWEEEEEEET!

Chris Benoit (w/Woman) vs. Lord Steven Regal
They do some stuff for like 2 minutes until Kevin Sullivan ruins it for a DQ! FUCK WCW!

Sullivan and Benoit brawl up the ramp; Jackie jumps on his back, but Woman tries to stop her. As Benoit turns around, Meng runs down and locks the Tongan Death Grip on Benoit until he passes out. Regal actually tries to help, but Meng gives him a quick KICK OF FEAR with the hold still applied. Woman tends to Benoit and Sullivan and Meng get in a stare down before walking off together.

The following announcement has been paid for by the new World order; It’s Savage and Liz :mark: Randy Savage is your master. He knows Kimberly Page is crushing on him and that just shows that she’s got class with a capital K. Savage says he’s Page’s worse nightmare.

Lex Luger and the Giant vs. The Amazing French-Canadians (w/Col. Robert Parker)
HOLY SHIT! Lex and the Giant have been pushed aside ever since Roddy Piper and Ric Flair returned :lmao what ever happen to Lex’s title shot? I will legit laugh if they job tonight. French-Canadians dominate Lex for the majority and it ruled; it’s full of double teams but once the fat one misses a splash I forget his name, which leads to the Giants hot tag and cleans house. He chokeslams one while Lex has the other up in the torture rack for the win.

NFL Films presents a hype video on Mongo McMichael vs. Reggie White

The Barbarian vs. Steve “Mongo” McMichael (w/Debra)
WCW played this all wrong; which isn’t shocking. They just played this awesome video package and then have him get dominated by Barbarian who is a jobber for like 3 minutes until Barbarian shoves the the ref and Debra distracts the ref some more as Mongo gets the Halliburton and nails Barbarian with it for the win. This should have been a straight Mongo power showcase with him dominating for 3 minutes and not needing to cheat to win. ALSO HOW THE FUCK DID DEBRA GET THE BRIEFCASE BACK? Didn’t Reggie go all PHX and steal it? AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Roddy Piper and Ric Flair are ready for a FIGHT! But first Flair gets on the mic and says why try to go fix what is not broken. Flair calls out the nWo and says he knows he can whip Syxx’s ass ‘cause he been world champion more times than he’s had pieces of ASS! HOLY SHIT! :lmaolmao but first tons of paper fall from the ceiling that says "Tradition Bites” & “nWo 4 Life" Flair says is this all they got? Flair says they drew the how C’MON! Once Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Syxx walk down the aisle, Flair storms the aisle and goes right for Syxx. Nash and Hall try to take him off, but two low blows stop them. Flair locks in the Figure Four on Syxx in the aisle. Piper hasn't moved from the ring, he's just staring into space, with a dumbfounded look, holding one of the papers that fell. The nWo regroups quickly and beats the shit out of Flair as Flair screams for Piper for a good minute before Piper finally runs down for the save. The awful 40 minutes that preceded this was worth it for that ending imo, also Syxx and Flair stiffing one another was awesome.

WCW Monday Night Nitro
May 5th, 1997
Lakeland, Florida

World Champion: Hollywood Hogan
United States Champion: Dean Malenko
World Tag Team Champions: The Outsiders
World Television Champion: Ultimo Dragon
Cruiserweight Champion: Syxx
Women’s Champion: Akira Hokuto

Nitro opens up with shitty audio and video but Flair, Piper & Kevin Greene are at the commentator's area to start the show. Before they can even talk an nWo banner that says "Tradition bites" drops down behind them. When they notice it, Kevin Greene rips it down. Once that one's down, another one drops down in front of them. Piper rips it down and flips out screaming that's enough.

Flair, Piper and Greene are now in the ring and the paper begins to fall again; Piper says he stood here last week and he tried to read the paper and he saw Flair last week, it was 3-1 and he though he would be fine :lmao Piper says he doesn’t want any perks as JJ shows up and says people are playing mid-games and he knows the 75% isn’t sitting well with him, he knows that. JJ tells him he needs to show up and if he doesn’t, he will be in breach of contract. Flair gets on the mic now; he says last week he doesn’t know about Hall or Nash but he knows about Syxx and he’s all his. Greene grabs the mic but Public Enemy hits so he doesn’t get to talk :lmaolmoa:lmao

Public Enemy vs. Hugh Morrus & Konnan (w/Jimmy Hart)
THIS IS THE WORSE OF THE WORSE! Both teams bring out tables for a total of THREE tables, which means, YES! It’s gonna be a shit brawl and someone is gonna go through a table. FUCK THIS! I don’t care.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Syxx (w/Scott Hall & Kevin Nash)
Despite Syxx and the Outsiders all being champions, nobody has a belt with them. Schiavone still seems to think this is a title match :lmao Syxx attacks before the bell and tries the Bronco Buster but Rey gets the foot up for the low blow. Mysterio gets all fired up, so Nash distracts the ref while Scott Hall gives Mysterio the Outsiders Edge and Syxx finishes him off with Buzzkiller. JJ Dillon and WCW Monday Nitro t-shirt wearing ref Nick Patrick head out to try and restore some order. Right behind them is the new World order. Patrick gets tossed out by Nash. Bischoff asks Dillon what he thinks he’s doing because he’s got no stroke around here. Syxx FINALLY releases the hold and yells in JJ’s face that if JJ thinks he’s going to pull the same crap he did with McMahon, he’s got another thing coming.

Lee Marshall is in Baltimore; guess the fucks give.

OH SHIT! HE’S BACK! IT’S THE WORLD CHAMPION HOLLYWOOD HOGAN~! Brother and he has Eric Bischoff with him. The crowd begins to chant for Sting, but he’s not here. Eric puts over Hogan as he does the flexing, I wouldn’t call it putting over more like dirty talking and having an orgasm. Hogan says the Wolfpac is gonna take care of all the dirty work in WCW so he can go back to movies. He then says it’s hard to be him, and he calls out Sting. Sting doesn't appear so Hogan calls himself a God.

Meng vs. Lord Steven Regal
This is just a brawl until; Kevin comes out and Regal brawls with him for the DQ. Meng locks in the TONGAN DEATH GRIP! But Kevin breaks it up, Regal fights them all again and Meng locks it in again. POINTLESS!

Video package for the Savage/Liz vs. Page/Kimberly feud.

“Mean Gene” Okerlund interviews Mr. & Mrs Page; Kimberly almost falling in her heels :lmao Page says before he was ever a wrestler he worked in nightclubs and has been in more bar fights than he can remember. But the Spring Stamped was different and the win was huge. The win over Randy Savage was the defining moment in his career. As for Randy Savage, DDP defines you! BAAAANG! Kimberly laughs at the thought of her being obsessed with him. Savage and Liz are in the crowd; Savage tells Kimberly to stop calling and writing and Page says he has two words for him DIOMOND CUTTER! Page begs for him to come down but he leaves. BANG!

Alex Wright vs. Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra)
Minute and half of nonsense; I swear this company if full of idiots you have half the time you normally have so why are you trying to add the same amount of matches? I think Alex Wright is suppose to be a heel, and I think Jarrett is too IDK Wright taunts Debra with his dick allowing Jeff to chop block him from behind and locks in the figure-four the win.

I really don’t understand what NASCAR and wrestling has in common?

Lizmark Jr. vs. Glacier
More Glacier shit in 10 seconds; Mortis and Wrath with James Vandenberg beat Glacier down after the match. YAWN! Man I really have no idea how WCW was winning the rating war. Also the post-match beatdown was the longer than every match on the show. FUCK YOU WCW!

The Main Event is supposed to be Harlem Heat vs. The Giant & Luger. But Lex was injured in Japan against the new World order. Giant introduces his new partner for the night…… Diamond Dallas Page. But before they can even make it to the ring; Randy Savage and Liz appear from the side of the stage. Page steals away one of his crutches and Savage drops the other. As Page stalks Savage back towards the commentator’s area, Hollywood Hogan comes up from behind to destroys the other crutch over Page’s back. He continues to beat the hell out of Page while Savage grabs Kimberly by the hair! Neither the Giant nor Harlem Heat can make the save because the rest of the new World order is beating on them as well! Team Piper comes out to try and help, but they are incredibly outnumbered. Flair doesn’t really care about anyone but Syxx and they are legit stiff punching the fuck out of one another. Syxx locks the Figure Four on Flair, Hall takes out Greene and Nash puts the Sleeper Hold on Piper. Hogan and Piper take over the commentary table and talk shit about the babyfaces failing as Nitro goes off the air.

¾ Through the hour long Nitro’s

Michael motherfucking Buffer is here and he’s opens the show; this must be a big night :mark: And just like that Savage and Liz are walking down to the ring. SAVAGE IS HEALED! He doesn’t need the crutches anymore. Praise the lawd. Savage says last week when Page attacked him from behind he smacked Page so hard that he’s the one that needs the crutches now. Savage says if Page is in the building, Savage wants him to hobble down to the ring tonight for another beating. OHHHH YEAH!

Tony Schiavone tells us that Eric Bischoff will be conducting an interview tonight with STING!

WCW TV Championship: Juventud Guerrera vs. Ultimo Dragon (w/Sonny Oono)
Split-Screen promo from Regal as he says he doesn’t do all that flip nonsense and can out wrestle everyone it the world, so he’s dropping the Lord and going back to his roots. Lots of counters and flips to start, Juvi hits a springboard moonsault for two, before hitting a headscissors takedown sending Dragon to the floor to regroup; well he does and when he does he ends up getting the better of Juvi. He hits the Kick Combos and the Spinning Backbreaker on the shoulders for two, but Juvi had 2nd life and throws everything at Dragon for two counts. Dragon misses a moonsault, but hits it seconds later off the middle rope for two. Juvi comes back with quick roll-ups for two before placing Dragon on the top. Dragon fights him off and hits the superplex off the top, both men fight for a German and crash to the floor. Both men up at eight and they tumble to the floor. Of course, Sonny Oono gets involved. He pulls Juvi off the apron. Dragon takes the time to kick Juvi in the head and Sonny gets his cheap kicks in. Back in; Top Rope Hurricanranna followed by Dragon Sleeper gives Dragon the win. **3/4

"Mean Gene" Okerlund brings out Rowdy Roddy Piper, Ric Flair and Kevin Greene; Greene says he’s undefeated in Charlotte and he plans on keeping it that way. He says he gonna break his foot up the nWo’s ASS! Flair says they will be their live, well duh! Piper says the outsiders may call themselves lions but this isn’t the wizard of oz and yes he may be a dinosaur; he’s a T-REX! Suddenly, the new World order are on the tron. Hall calls Piper fat and tells him to suck it. Syxx takes a shot at flair saying when he’s away from home his wife is leaving his hotel room OH SHIT! Hall says he doesn’t respect then and Nash announces that the six-man main event is now a NoDQ match.

WCW US Championship: Dean Malenko vs. Steve “Mongo” McMichael (w/Jeff Jarrett & Debra)
I’m not quite sure why this is happening seeing how; Jarrett gets a US title shot at Slamboree. Mongo cuts a whole promo into the camera during his entrance and it sounded like he didn’t pause once :lmao Mongo uses power so Dean schools him on the mat and tries the stick and move gameplan. Dean has hit like 4 leg lariats in a row before Jarrett trips him up allowing Mongo to to chopblock him from behind. As he goes for a powerslam, the ref gets knocked out of the ring by the swing of Malenko’s legs. Mongo covers Malenko and here comes Reggie White. Jarrett distracts Reggie so Mongo can get in the cheapshot. Inside the ring, Reggie reverses a cross corner whip and runs Mongo over with a clothesline. Big splash by Reggie! Jarrett hops up on the apron to yell at Reggie, but he’s shoved down to the floor. As Reggie walks out, Malenko bridges McMichael for the win. Best part was Heenan saying Mongo has being going at it for 5-10 minutes :lmao more like 3.

"Mean Gene" Okerlund meets Reggie White on the aisle and Gene asks him why this is personal; Reggie says he can talk about him all he wants but YOU LEAVE THE PACKERS FANS ALONE :lmao

Lee Marshall is in Asheville; blah blah blah

Scotty Riggs vs. Wrath (w/James Vandenberg & Mortis)
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! American Males theme song tho, but yeah fuck WCW and fuck life. Post-Match: Glacier stares down the opposition from the rampway, what a pussy.

Konnan & Hugh Morrus (w/Jimmy Hart) vs. Alex Wright & Ice Train (w/Teddy Long)
Why is this shit on a go home show; why have they only built 2 matches in 40 minutes and it was the matches with the football plays, fuckin’ fucks. FIRE EVERYONE!

Backstage; nWo Wolfpac weren’t in Charlotte at all! We see them leaving Roddy Piper’s dressing room wearing bandannas. Piper is screaming in pain while holding his bad hip.

Eric Bischoff comes out alone. He introduces Sting. Of course, it’s the fake one. He asks the fake Sting some questions that try to make Sting less superior to Hollywood Hogan. This charade brings out the Real Sting. SCORPION DEATHDROP wipes out the fake one. With nothing between him and Sting, Bischoff jumps out the ring and leaves through the crowd as the show goes off the air.

I hate this company.

FLAIR COUNTRY! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

World Champion: Hollywood Hogan
United States Champion: Dean Malenko
World Tag Team Champions: The Outsiders
World Television Champion: Ultimo Dragon
Cruiserweight Champion: Syxx
Women’s Champion: Akira Hokuto

WCW TV Championship: Steven Regal vs. Ultimo Dragon (w/Sonny Oono)
Now that Regal has drop that lord nonsense; he dopes the stalling and is aggressive as fuck. He also debuts the red/purple attire too :mark: they do a lot of counter wrestling to start, and it lasts a good while. Regal has finally had enough and suplex him just to palm fist him in the nose for two. They go back to the mat with Dragon using a side headlock but once Regal breaks free he dropicks him. The match picks up now with Dragon hitting the corner handstand back kick before the combo kicks. Dragon locks in the half crab but Regal makes the ropes, so Dragon stomps on him. Regal returns the favor sending Dragon to the floor. Tenay says Regal thinks that the TV belt is the only championship worth owning. He doesn’t care for the U.S. strap since he’s not a U.S. citizen and questions the nWo’s vandalism of the WCW world title :lmao AWESOME! Back in; Regal attempts the Regal stretch and slaps the back of the head, which pisses Dragon of so he begins slaps of his own. Regal attempts an armbar but Regal breaks and looks for the stretch again but when Dragon doesn’t give in he applies the Bowen arrow. He’s softened up the Dragon for another try at the stretch, but this time Dragon BITES his way out. Another series of kicks and Dragon applies the Muta Lock. Fans are chanting for Regal :mark: Regal breaks free but Dragon hits a dropkick sending Regal to the floor so Soony can kick him, Dragon follows to the floor and seems to be pissed at Sonny. Back in the ring and a ‘rana off the top gets two, Dragon then misses the top rope moonsault. Regal tries the stretch again and Dragon lunges for the ropes. Butterfly suplex gets countered into a hurracanrana for two. Regal goes for the Regalplex but Dragon reverses it into a Victory Roll. Dragon goes for the Tiger Suplex but Regal bails to the outside. Regal side steps a Diving Cross Body from Dragon and chucks him into the guard rail. Dragon recovers quickly and hits a Asai Moonsault from the middle rope a good 10 feet back to Regal near the entry way. Before Regal can get back in, Oono gets his kicks in again and Dragon breaks it up. Sonny gets pissed and kicks Dragon in the back of the head allowing Regal to take advantage and delivers a reverse suplex to set up the REGAL STRETCH for the win. This was damn good; clearly Regal’s best match since his Steamboat feud. ***1/2

Madusa vs. Luna Vachon
Apparently Lee Marshell is a cunt expert ‘cause he’s on commentary; FUCK MY LIFE! Also once again Lee doesn’t make any Weasel jokes when he’s sitting next to Heenan. SUCH A PUSSY!

“Mean Gene” Oaklund is pimping out the WCW Hotline when Randy Savage and Liz looking infuckin’creible interrupt; He takes his mic away and they come down to the ring. Savage says the center of the universe is the outsiders + Syxx; the wolfpac, Hollywood and he list the other jobbers. He says Page doesn’t want anymore madness, Suddenly here comes Page through the crowd with the crutch Hogan beat him up with on Nitro. Savage sees him and bails; Eric stops him and the rest of the Jobbers come out. Page says what’s wrong? He wants the madness it seems like he doesn’t. Page then questions Savage’s sexuality by saying he must be in a rush to go wash Hogan’s car and kiss his ASS! Savage is pissed and says he’s gonna take care of business and tells the boys to step aside. He hits the ring only to be hit with the crutch to the point that pieces of the crutch start to fly everywhere. Page beats the shit out of the nWo with the crutch until Norton exposes Pages injured ribs and they attack. The Giant makes the save wearing a Lex Luger t-shirt. AHHHHHHHHH! He misses his buddy.

Yuji Yasuraoka vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.
Yuji works the head to start; but Rey comes back with a leg bar that gets broken and he doesn’t target It again. Yuji comes back with a slam and kicks Rey’s back and begins to work over it. Heenan balls him Yogi :lmao now they work for arm control that leads to a clothesline for two :lmao Yuji hits a spin kick for two; Rey wakes up the crowd by taking Yuji to the floor and wiping him out with a somersault plancha over the referee. Back in, Rey locks in the camel clutch but Rey breaks cause fuck knows; Rey tries a another springboard move but gets kicked in the gut for it. Yuji hits a running back kick before locking in a armbar; He tries to wow the crowd with a dive to the floor. Mysterio mounts a comeback with a split-legged moonsault. Roll-up sequence leads to a powerbomb from Rey. Flying splash misses though. Double-Arm DDT from Yuji gets two. He tries for another, but Rey backdrops him over into a bridge for two. Yuji comes off the top and takes a dropkick in mid-air, that sets up the the Springboard Hurricanrana for the win. Boring as shit; way too long and had 0 story. I can see why I’ve never heard or seen Yuji ever again. *

Glacier vs. Mortis (w/James Vandenberg)
This just go from bad to worse; Pure shit blood in diarrhea bad. Wrath to interfere attacking Glacier for the DQ. But wait there’s more; after the match The two-on-one beatdown continues until a crazy black man jumps the rail and kicks the ring clear of the heels. After this is over with and security comes out, our esteemed commentators realize this guy is karate champion Ernest Miller who has been seen on WCW Worldwide. Nobody watches that show though 8D I got through like 2 episodes when I started this project before deleting it. DUD!

“Mean Gene” Orklund is back pimping the hotline, this time he says a WCW might be getting ready to hit the ropes or hit the road :hm:

WCW US Championship: Dean Malenko vs. Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra)
Flair country doesn’t like Jarrett at all; and off that he gives Dean a big shoulder tackle to which Dean hits his head hard on the mat and has the far away eyes when he gets up. They go back to the mat with Jeff being cocky as shit and tries to show him up. Lot of counters and stretches as both men weaken the other legs for their respected leg based submissions until Jarrett cheats on an abdominal stretch. Malenko breaks loose and stomps Jarrett to send him retreating up the aisle. Once they get back Jarrett tries to work the arm so Dean back suplex’s him for two. Figure-Four fails as Malenko kicks Jarrett in the knee he worked over earlier. Texas Cloverleaf gets countered as well into the small package for two; Jarrett throws Dean into the rails and but Dean counters a crossbody off the top for two. Jarrett counters the whip into a sleeper with Dean breaking and countering into one of his own. Jarrett back suplexs out and locks in the figure four but when Dean grabs the ropes, both men bump heads which lead to Mongo coming down to take Debra away LOLWAT WHY? he tosses Jarrett back into the ring and leaves with here. That allows Dean to lock in the Tiger Bomb and the Texas Cloverleaf for the win. I love the early mat work with both men trying to work over the others leg; for the figure four and the Cloverleaf which makes so much sense; unlike other mat work when it goes from head, arm, back, back to the arm before leaving it completely wasting 5 minutes of my time. The match was a lot better than expected but it wasn’t necessary good. Also why is Mongo catching feeling about Debra checking on Jarrett when she’s been coming to the ring with him for like 4 weeks now; Shouldn’t he be getting ready for the “biggest match” of his life? **

Death Match: Meng vs. Chris Benoit (w/Woman)
The rules are there are no rules; except pinfalls and submissions don’t count and the only way to win is when the other man can’t continue whatever that means. Meng makes Jimmy Hart stay in the back cause this match is not for the weak; Dean tells Woman she better not EVER throw in the towel or that’s was Dusty and Tony tell us he’s telling here. Great feeling out process to start with neither man wanting to rush into anything; really tentative. A Meng kick sends Benoit to the floor for a breather once he returns in Meng suplexs him but gives him too much time to get to his feet so Benoit hits one of his own before dropkicking the knee. They brawl on the floor with Benoit throwing Meng’s head into the steps and Benoit rolls in. Meng works over Benoit in the corner with Benoit’s chops having no effect. Suddenly, Jacqueline starts walking down the aisle, but Woman starts walking towards her and Jacqueline begins to head backstage, PUSSY! Meng locks in a half Boston crab but Benoit fights and claws to the ropes breaking the hold. They trade chops until Meng headbutts him and nails a piledriver as the ref begins to count to 10; so this is a last man standing match GOD DAMMIT! Benoit applies the Crippler Crossface but they end up in the ropes and Benoit breaks the hold. WHAT! WHY? NO RULES MEANS NO FUCKIN’ RULES! Meng takes this time to regroup before putting another beating on Benoit till he gets up and he dare Meng to do it again and he does :mark: Benoit is up at 7 and YELLS FOR MORE!! Meng begins kicking him in the head but the third misses and Benoit takes the time to hit a pair of German; another crossface is applied but Meng makes the ropes and escapes to the floor only to take a suicide dive! Back inside, they fight up top until Benoit slip away and gives Meng another German suplex. DIVING HEADBUTT, but Meng moves and catches Benoit in mid-air for the TONGAN DEATH GRIP! There’s no escaping as Benoit passes out. That was pretty bad; it had hate but no enough. It felt like one of those long 5 round UFC fights; stuff happen but it was mostly tentative. **1/2

The Steiner Brothers vs. Konnan & Hugh Morrus (w/Jimmy Hart)
This was okay I guess; it was basically a match that would happen on nitro if they got more than 3 minutes in a match and made it 7 or 8. Steiner’s dominate Hugh early leading to Jimmy Hart having words with his team on the floor. Konnan comes in and gets killed too :lmao after 5 minutes of getting their ass kick it takes Jimmy Hart tripping up Scott allowing Hugh to gorilla press slam Scotty onto the top rope to gain advantage. They isolate Scotty for a bit with Rick losing his shit whenever they double teamed which was like 69 times; after some miscommunication Rick gets the hot tag and cleans house. Steiner Bulldog on Hugh connects, but Konnan makes the save. Scott whips Konnan into Rick by accident. Hugh tries the NO LAUGHING MATTER on Rick but he rolled out of the way allowing Scott to hit the Frankensteiner for the win. Post-match; Konnan sneaks back into the ring and attacks Hugh, as he exits the ring he shoves Jimmy Hart away, walking off by himself. Okay I guess; like I said more time on Nitro kind of match. **

Steve “Mongo” McMichael (w/Debra) vs. Reggie White
The amount of things wrong with this feud and scenario are mind-blowing and too long to write out. Fuck it here goes; Mongo use to be a football player and converted; he’s only wrestled a year and has mostly been a tag wrestler that has NEVER ACCOMPLISHED ANYTHING AT ALL! Sure he’s part of the Horsemen but they haven’t gotten along in 6 months. Reggie White sure he likes or loves wrestling and he just came off a super bowl but he’s NEVER FUCKIN’ WRESTLED! THEY DIDN’T EVEN SHOW HIM TRAINING IN A RING HE NEVER ONCE SPOKE OR WAS SEEN TRAINING WITH A FUCKIN’ WRESTLER! Oh and now the topper; this is a Packers/Bears feud, cool great I enjoy that feud but why is a FUCKIN’ BEARS/PACKERS match happening in FUCKIN’ CHARLOTTE? This is just really dumb; at least with the Bam Bam/Lawrence match Bam had what years and years of experience and was and is considered to be one of the best of the big guys to ever wrestle not put on a fuckin’ helmet. OH AND HERE IS THE MOTHER FUCKIN’ CHERRY ON THE TOP! THIS GETS 15 MINUTES FIFTEEN MOTHERFUCKIN’ MINUTES. Mongo gets the win with a briefcase shot; not worth it for publicity. Oh and you know what else makes this hilarious didn’t Mongo roll Jarrett who was semi-out of it into the ring to get beat by Dean while talking shit to him like 45 minutes prior? AAHHHHHHHHHHH!

NoDQ Match: Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, and Kevin Greene vs. The new World order
Flair's pop is so fucking insane; Syxx and Flair start it wasn’t as amazing as the Nitro build with both men stiffing one another. Syxx gets a lot of offense in, with Flair teases ring rust to sucker Syxx in so he can play it dirty. WOOOOOOOOO! Syxx tags in Hall and Flair sidesteps the tooth pick. Tag to Greene, Hall wants nothing to do with that and tags Nash. They get into a shoving match, so Nash hits him low with the knee and begins to beat on him in the corner. Greene begins to make a comeback with shoulder tackles and a clotheslines sending the nWo to the floor. Back inside, Hall wants Piper and does so Hall slaps the wrap on his hip, and Piper slaps him across the face :lmao Piper gets cornered by Hall and Piper snaps, punching in a circle, taking out all 3 members. Hall works over Piper's hip and leg for a few minutes until Piper hits a low blow and tags out to Flair who fucking clears house, the crowd is hot. Flair Flip and the run up to the top turnbuckle ends with Flair flying down into a Fallaway Slam from Hall, Nash tags in and hits the Snakes Eyes, chokes him with the boot in the corner, and delivers the Bossman straddle. He hits the Side Slam and tags out. Syxx delivers the Bronco Buster, but then there’s a double-KO. All hell breaks loose with all 6 men fighting when Piper & Greene come into save Flair. Hall hides behind Referee Randy Anderson and Piper says to hell with it and decks Anderson. Nick Patrick runs out to replace as the referee, Flair trips Hall to avoid the Outsider’s Edge and hooks on the FIGURE-FOUR! Nash tries to break it up, but Greene chopblocks him and Piper applies a sleeper. Syxx charges at Greene and takes a powerslam for the win. This was somewhat amazing; must due to FLAIR BEING GOD and the crowd being hot, that let all the wrestles do what they do and let Greene get some shine. FUN SHIT! ***

The final one hour nitro due to the NBA Playoffs

“Mean Gene” Oarklund introduces Ric Flair; Flair is so over :mark: he first gets a cheap pop in before saying last night was his greatest thrill in wrestling when he erased self doubt and was able to walk the aisle with Greene and Roddy, he then promises he wants back in. Suddenly, Syxx comes down. He says they beat no one and the wrong guy was in the ring, Flair takes his jacket off :mark: And Gene calls him Richard :lmao Syxx then says he heard all this trash about him being able to take him, well that BS and Syxx says he will take Flair no problem and if he has the guts he wants to do it tonight, and heads to the ring. Flair says; Hall and Nash he doesn’t know about, but you my friend he’s gonna kick his fly weight ass and the fight or Flair does and Syxx runs.

WCW TV Championship: Prince Iaukea vs. Steven Regal
Prince in another title shot :lmao well at least this one kinda makes sense as he beat Regal for a belt before. Regal beats him up for a bit until Prince uses quickness to and fast pin attempts for near two counts. They do the call back spot with the crucifix fin with Regal barly kicking out, when he does he becomes even more pissed and punts Prince in the face. Regal first hits a reversed suplex before applying the Regal stretch with punches to the face and Prince passes out.

Mortis, Wrath & Glacier trash is shown from last night.

Masahiro Chono vs. Squire David Taylor
Chono gets the better early but after a Taylor dropkick he fires back with strikes of his own. Chono catches him with the inverted drop before taunting. They exchange strikes before Taylor gets thrown to the floor, he takes his sweet time getting back into the ring and Chono hits a swinging neckbreaker but his pilerdriver or powerbomb attempt gets blocked. Taylors charge gets meet with a boot and Chono locks in the STF for the win. Post-Match: “Mean Gene” is with Sonny Oono, and he says he can make and break fighters and Chono has a debt with him and New Japan, and next week Chono's worst nightmare will be here.

J.J. Dilion informs us that Nick da god Patrick is officially reinstated as a referee, back but will be under review for the next 30 days.

Michael Wallstreet vs. Scotty Riggs
NO!

“Mean Gene” Okerlund brings out NASCAR superstar Mark Martin who has Ric Flair with him just so he doesn’t get booed. He talks and Flair throws a shot at Syxx.

That human cunt stain is in Nashville; he destroys Elvis Presley’s ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ just for the sake of a weasel joke, Heenan responds informing us that the wrong man died. AMAZING! COMEBACK.

Pictures of the DDP/Savage confrontation from last night.

The Steiner Brothers vs. Jeff Jarrett & Steve “Mongo” McMichael (w/Debra)
UGH! They do filler shit for 3 minutes until Mongo wants the Halliburton briefcase but Kevin Greene intercepts and he ends up whacking Mongo with it while, Jarrett gets pulled out by Scott. Rick covers him for the win. WHAT A MIND FUCK! Isn’t Greene BFF’s with Flair and isn’t Flair suppose to be a part of the 4 Horsemen that include Mongo? Anyway Tony tells us that was revenge for when Mongo did it to him, wait wasn’t Flair in that match too? AHHHHHHHHHHH! FUCK THIS COMPANY!

During the break, McMichael and Greene got into a pull-apart brawl in the bathroom. Larry says Kevin Greene is stupid for hanging around the building after costing Mongo the match. PREACH!

Syxx vs. Ric Flair
Syxx wastes no time with kicks but he missed a running dropkick and Flair lays into him with chops and punches. And here come the Outsiders for the DQ! Hall gives him the outsiders Edge, and Nash delivers the Jacknife as the fans throw trash into the ring. Nash says he just wants to put Flair and Piper out of business, Hall says they’ve gotten rid of one half of the dinosaurs and when your wolfpac you’re wolfpac 4LIFE! Oh and when you are nWo you are just 2SWEEEEEEET!

Eric Bischoff comes down to the ring and gets on the mic; Eric says you don’t want to make Hall and Nash mad, trust me he knows. He then says last week he wanted to talk to sting so badly that he called his phone, gym and even hired a special detective but nothing. Eric continues to look up and around before calling him a coward. He says Sting will never get in the ring with Hogan, cause he not worth it and should worship the ground he spits on. He then says he wishes Sting was here so he could slap the paint off his face, suddenly, STING COMES POPPING UP THROUGH THE RING AND DELIVERS THE SCORPION DEATH DROP! As Nitro goes off the air.

Cruiserweight Champion: Syxx
Women’s Champion: Akira Hokuto

Nitro opens with Eric Bischoff on his knees bowing as “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan joins him on the stage. Hogan has a beard with no horseshoe mustache :( Tony tells us that a year ago was when Hall debuted; Eric tells us Stinger is not under the ring tonight. Hogan says Eric is the reason he gets to be on holiday and shooting movies all the time, Hogan calls him family and says he was pissed that Sting put his hands on him so when he next sees Sting, he’s in “DEEP, DEEP, DO, DO BRAH!” He says Sting is scared of the outsiders and Syxx, before calling Sting out. He says he’s given Sting till the end of the night and then he will call him out. YAY! HOGAN POSES FOR ANOTHER MINUTE BEFORE LEAVING!

Lucha Libre Rules Match: Juventud Guerrera, Super Calo, and Hector Garza vs. La Parka, Damien, and Ciclope
Parka and Juvi do the usual Juvi is too quick for him, Parka doing the strut is still awesome as Juvi ‘rana’s him to the floor. Ciclope and Calo, do flips and reverses for a bit with Calo headscissors Ciclope from one end of the ring to the other. With Ciclope on the floor, Calo delivers a tope con hilo that sends him over Ciclope and into the third row! AMAZING! Damien and Garza, have a nice a nice sequence of Lucha stuff with Garza dropkicking him to the floor and following up with a top rop moonsault to the floor. Super Calo gets triple-teamed and kicked in the face by La Parka. La Parka is too good. Juvi tries to get in but gets double teamed for his effort; Garza avoids dropkicks from everywhere, but gets tripped up by Damien and pulled to the floor. Ciclope and Calo fight on the other side while La Parka and Juventud are left in the ring. Juventud lands on his feet off a release German suplex. Juvi ends up giving Damien a headscissors from inside the ring and off the apron, Juvi judo tosses La Parka off the apron for a hard landing on the floor he then follows with a 450 degree plancha. Calo lands a slingshot senton on the floor across Damien’s chest. Ciclope takes down Calo with a somersault plancha. Now that everyone is on the floor but Garza, he can bust out the CORKSCREW PLANCHA! In the ring, Ciclope flies down into a powerbomb from Garza! Standing moonsault by Garza gets the win. SPOTS! LOVELY AMAMZING SPOTS. ***1/4

Psychosis vs. Alex Wright
HEEL ALEX “THE GREAT” WRIGHT IN DA HOUSE, AND HE’S GOT DEM DANCE MOVES! Sadly he still sucks in the ring. Psychosis wins with the Guillotine Leg drop off the top.

“Mean Gene” Okerlund is here; and out comes Sonny Oono. Gene asks him about Chono's opponent later. Sonny says that he’s got Masa Chono’s worst nightmare waiting for him backstage. On his way to the back, Sonny Oono asks Psychosis if he’s interested in a “deal”. Psychosis replies with, “Yes, of course.” :lmao not even wasting anytime or convincing. Madusa comes out waving her top around, she wants Akira Hokuto and the WCW Women’s title at the Great American Bash, and she will do anything for a title match. Sonny Oono, says he just wants Madusa to put her career on the line against Akira Hokuto in order for her to get a rematch. IT’S ON! Sonny should have just asked for sex for life, I would have Madusa was quite the looker back then.

Tenay introduces a clip of the karate kid himself “Ernest Miller” Sombody call my momma, oh wait that’s not a thing yet.

Wrath (w/James Vandenberg & Mortis) vs. Mark Starr

NO! Kill youself, where’s Lee Marshall to save me AHHHHHHHHHHH! HATE THIS COMPANY!

Konnan vs. Villano IV
Before the match Hugh gets a split screen promo saying it’s no laughing matter turning his bac on his firend. Showcase squash match for Konnan, Villano gets 2-3 moves in but Konnan wins with a Cradle DDT followed by the Tequila Sunrise.

"Mean Gene" Oaklund interviews Konnan; He says his reasons for leaving the Dungeon of Doom. The leader of the group Kevin Sullivan has taken over a YEAR now to get rid of Chris Benoit and still hasn’t been able to pull it off. Konnan says he could have eliminated Benoit in a week’s time and then some. Now Sullivan has Jacqueline around while his old lady is humping Chris Benoit. Konnan has NO respect for Sullivan whatsoever and calls him a “BITCH”. As for Hugh Morrus, if he comes out and interrupts his match, it’ll be a 1-8-7 and Konnan’s ready to ride. THAT WAS PRETTY AWESOME!

Sonny Oono comes down to the ring and gets on the mic; he runs down Chono for a bit before introducing his mystery opponent…..THE GREAT MUTA!

Masa Chono vs. The Great Muta (w/Sonny Oono)
They basically stall for three minutes, Oono tries to encourage Muta to go after Chono, but nothing happens. Chono chases Oono around the ring. Back in, Muta grabs a weak headlock he’s pretty much hugging him :lmao Oono gets in the ring to yell at Muta so Muta sprays the RED MIST in Oono’s face :mark: SWERVE! The ref throws the match out as Muta and Chono put the boots to Soony. Chono screams N-W-O! GREAT MUTA HAS JOINED THE NEW WORLD ORDER! SWERVE! He then hands him the t-shirt, SWERVE!

Buy the Rowdy Roddy Piper I.C.O.N T-shirt for only $20.00 and $5.95 S&H

The Following Announcement Has Been paid for by the new World order; It’s Randy Savage & Liz Oh Liz why did you have to fall for that Lex Loser, I miss you :( Savage says every day is getting close to Pages last day. He says he’s gonna expose him and end him. He calls Kimberly worthless and tells her to not come crawling to him.

Well, “Mean Gene” Oaklund brings out Mr. and Mrs. Page; Page still has those crutches that have been used to beat on him. Page says Savage looked pretty mad in that video, Page says he never though he would ever be able to get under his skin like that. He says that suckup Hogan gonna get one too, but first Savage and it’s just the beginning. Kimberly says she likes to keep mementos throughout DDP’s career. She’s keeping the crutches, ya’ll. She’s even got a lock of her own hair that Randy Savage pulled out of her head. PAGE IS NOW PISSED! And says theirs two things you don’t mess with; 1) you don’t mess with a man’s family, and 2) you don’t mess with a man’s wife. Savage you will feel the BANG!

Barbarian (w/Jimmy Hart) vs. Jim Powers (w/Teddy Long)
SQUASH!

"Mean Gene" comes out and interviews Jimmy Hart & The Barbarian, but Chris Benoit and Woman stop Jimmy Hart and Barbarian in the aisle to ask where Sullivan is. Benoit wants to know what it is going to take to get Sullivan back in the ring. Jimmy says the road to Kevin Sullivan first goes through the Barbarian. Benoit hops in the ring ready to go, but Jimmy says he will have to wait until next week.

HOLY SHIT! THIS TAPE CUTS TO A WWF FEED WITH Freebird hyping up where WWF will be next week :mark: Back to this shit now :(

Johnny Swinger, Rick Fuller, and Jerry Flynn vs. The Giant (w/Lex Luger)
SQUASH!

“Mean Gene” Okerlund asks Lex Luger and the Giant about Hollywood Hogan and Dennis Rodman signing an open contract to wrestle whoever wants some at the Bash at the Beach PPV in July. Lex says he’s been paying extra close attention to Dennis Rodman during the NBA playoffs. He wants to get his hands on Dennis Rodman for what he did to him back at UnCeNSoReD. Lex tells Rodman to wear his best dress and colour his hair 17 different colours he wants because at Bash at the Beach. none of its going to matter because he’s going to be wondering what the heck Hogan got him into when he’s looking across the ring at Lex and the Giant. Giant tells Hogan that karma sucks and that he’s coming for him. They couldn't wait to announce this or anything till it was time for Bash at the Beach? Great American Bash is in like 2 weeks?

Lee Marshall is a penis

Syxx makes his way down to the ring; he still salty about the finish at Slamboree saying that Nick Patrick counted the fall and wasn’t even reinstated as a referee until the next night. He then shows footage of last week's Nitro when they killed Flair. He brings out Scott Hall and Kevin Nash to lay out a challenge to the NATCHA BOY! And the HOT ROD! For the Great American Bash. Nash says he’s gonna retire Piper cause he’s too afraid to do it himself.

Jeff Jarrett & Steve McMichael (w/Debra) vs. Harlem Heat (w/Sister Sherri)
This is pretty basic granted it gets a good amount of time with Mongo getting isolated setting Jarrett up for the hot tag. Kevin Greene comes out on commentary and talks shit on Mongo. Eventually, Mongo spots Kevin Greene and leaves the ring to go after him! Meanwhile, Stevie Ray stops a FIGURE-FOUR on Booker with a legdrop. Stevie Ray holds up Jarrett for a Harlem Sidekick from Booker for the win. Mongo & Greene have brawled to the back, while Debra tending to Jarrett in the ring, Jarrett says Mongo has been hit in the head one too many times and Jarrett says this might be the end. Either we’re in this together or naw. **1/2

Hollywood Hogan and Eric Bischoff are back; Hogan says that the belt is on the line right now if Sting comes out. Bischoff says Sting isn't here and talks more shit on him, the ring rips open and out pops...FAKE STING! Hogan and Bischoff pretend it's the real one and talk shit on him. They make Fake Sting grovel at Hogan's feet. Sting descends from the ceiling right into the ring behind Hogan and Bischoff. Sting grabs Bischoff and takes him out with the SCORPION DEATHDROP. Now what about Hogan? With the fake Sting still down on his knees, the real Sting backs Hogan over him as Hulk falls over him and bails to the floor. Sting blocks a swing of the bat from the fake Sting and hits him in the ribs. SCORPION DEATHDROP. As the wig starts to come off a little bit, the fake Sting appears to be Buff Bagwell. As Hogan watches on, the rest of the nWo come down the ramp to back him up. They surround the ring and just as they make it inside, Sting reattaches himself to the cable and heads back into the rafters! JESUS! The looks like the unsafe thing ever.

WCW Monday Night Nitro
June 2nd, 1997
Dayton, Ohio

World Champion: Hollywood Hogan
United States Champion: Dean Malenko
World Tag Team Champions: The Outsiders
World Television Champion: Steven Regal
Cruiserweight Champion: Syxx
Women’s Champion: Akira Hokuto

Hall and Syxx are in the ring; Hall the fans have been calling and writing, because they don’t get enough TV time. He says they are the reason WCW is on top, before running down Piper, Flair and Greene. Syxx says Flair has lost a step and Halls says he’s a washed up version of his favourite recording, J.J with that 99speed; he runs to the ring and says he just spoke to Flair. He’s not in Charlotte he’s in the air flying here. Syxx says he’s ready but J.J. Says it will be Hall/Flair. Hall tells him doesn’t tell him what to do; and J.J says if he doesn’t wrestle tonight he and Nash will have to leave the tag titles on his table. Hall has both tag titles so it appears no Nash this week.

Alex Wright vs. Glacier
Alex dances after moves and gets caught with a superkick. James Vandenburg comes out with the mask & helmet they stole from Glacier. Wrath & Mortis attack Glacierfrom behind, Wright even joins in to make this a 3-on-1, but he fails at this and eats a superkick from Mortis. That allows Glacier to clean house.

Joe Gomez vs. Buff Bagwell (w/Scott Norton)
In a split-screen interview, Buff and Norton laugh about beating up Lex Luger and the Giant over in New Japan, match was a SQUASH!

Mike Tenay hypes up Ernest Miller and introduces a high school football pictures; AHHHHHHHHHH! Next week, we’ll get a video! Now let’s check out a trailer of Roddy Piper’s latest flick: Swept Away.

Hugh Morrus makes his way out for his match and Konnan comes from behind, breaking a broom over Konnan's head and beating the shit out of him. Morrus denies medical attention and ends up heading down, what a guy.

Hugh Morrus vs. Prince Iaukea
Hugh has shitty offense and Prince schoolboys him in like 40 seconds.

“Mean Gene” Okerlund brings JJ Dillon out; He confirms that Ric Flair has just arrived at the building for tonight’s main event against Scott Hall. JJ then announces that the Steiner brothers are the #1 contenders to the WCW tag team belts and will be getting a shot, more than likely, against the winner of Outsiders/Pipers and Flair at Bash at the Beach. Sherri & Harlem Heat come out and debate that point. Dillon tells them that if the Steiner’s win their match tonight; it's pretty much a guarantee that they're #1 Contenders. Booker says actions provoke reactions and to watch they're backs.

The Steiner Brother’s vs. The Great Muta & Masahiro Chono
nWo Japan in da house; Good feeling out process between Scott and Muta to start, Rick gets the better so Muta call him out for pulling the hair :lmao After both men get some stuff win Muta hits this sweet spin kicks and taunts for a good 30 seconds allowing Scott to hit the butterfly suplex, and a gorilla press slam. Rick comes in and scares Muta out of the ring, so Chono gets him to calm down :lmao Rick grabs hold of Chono’s nWo t-shirt so he can spit and stomp on it. Haha Rick overpowers Chono and the Steiner’s pretty much dominate with ease until the stalling on the floor comes to an end and Chono suckers Scott into their corner for a double team. The heat segment is real short as Scott levels the two with a double clothesline. HOT TAG TO RICK! He cleans house until Muta nails Rick with a Handspring Elbow followed by a bulldog. Muta holds him while Chono tries the MAFIA KICK, but Rick moves and Muta gets nailed. Steinerline to Chono as Rick heads up top for the STEINER BULLDOG, but Harlem Heat run down and yank him off the apron and whack him in the back with a chair. This allows Chono to MAFIA KICKS Scott. Rick gets rolled inside. And Muta drops an elbow and applies a legbar instead of just pinning the man. With Rick knocked out and his shoulders down with the hold applied, the ref just counts to three. So are Muta and Chono are now the top contenders? Post-Match: “Mean Gene” brings out JJ and says this match doesn’t count and tells them that maybe Harlem Heat should worry about their own match lined up for tonight.

“Mean Gene” Okerlund brings out Ric Flair to respond to the challenge. He says he doesn’t know if he can beat Scott Hall, but he knows he wants to find out. Nash isn’t here. It’s just Hall and Syxx tonight. He promises that he will stomp a pothole in Hall’s toothpick-chewing white ASS! TONIGHT! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

WCW US Championship: Dean Malenko vs. Michael VK. Wallstreet
Wallstreet is still doing the anti-WCW thing. Nick Patrick is the ref here and most of the match is trying to put over Patrick’s reformed ways. He spends a LOT of the match arguing with Wallstreet. As Jeff Jarrett and Debra head down, they try for the Strongbow pin, which completely fails somehow. Wallstreet thinks he’s won the match, but Patrick tells Malenko it isn’t and he applies the Texas Cloverleaf as Nick Patrick stands in the way of Wallstreet crawling for the ropes so he has to tap.

"Mean Gene" Oaklund is in the ring, and interview Jeff Jarrett & Debra. Jarrett wants a rematch next week on Nitro in Boston. Malenko gives him the rematch and tells the world that he will prove that his win over Jarrett at Slamboree was no fluke. Mongo storms out from nowhere and tells Jarrett something that I don't quite get about them being a team. Jarrett says Mongo doesn't need to know anything because Jarrett's looking out for himself now. Jarrett tries to leave with Debra but Mongo makes Debra stay. Mongo doesn’t quite care for that, but he’ll take care of that situation backstage. As for Kevin Greene, he calls what Greene did stabbing him in the back two weeks ago on Nitro, totally forgetting that the whole reason Greene did it in the first place was because Mongo stabbed him in the back last June. DAMMIT WCW!

Ciclope & Damien vs. Harlem Heat (w/Sister Sherri)
This is clearly set up to be a squash, and it pretty much is until the Steiners nail booker with a chair while the ref is busy with Stevie Ray. They roll Booker back in as Damien splashes from the top for the win. UPSET, CITY! Tony wonders if perhaps Ciclope and Damien are the number one contenders to the tag belts. YES! Would rather see them than these washed tag teams.

Lee Marshall needs to get swept away.

Chris Benoit vs. The Barbarian (w/Jimmy Hart)
If Benoit Wins, He Gets Sullivan. Knowing this Benoit is aggressive as fuck early on; he kicks Barbarian all over in the corner and hits a Northern Lights suplex. Jimmy Hart distracts the referee and Barbarian kicks Benoit in the dick. Barbarian lifts Benoit up for a suplex and instead just slams him knee first across the top rope. Barbarian hits the piledriver but Benoit kicks out at two, TOP ROPE SOLAR PLEX THAT SENDS BENOIT ACROSS THE RING AND TO THE FLOOR! Barbarian goes for it again but Benoit shoves him off and hits a desperation Diving Headbutt. He then follows up with the crippler crossface and Barbarian taps. Post-Match: Benoit asks Jimmy Hart when he gets Kevin Sullivan. Jimmy tells Benoit that he just made it a lot tougher on himself. In step number two at the Great American Bash he will have to face Meng in another death match, Next week in Boston he’ll let him know what step number 3 is?

JAGhl3T.gif

SPACE JAM COMMERICAL!!!

Ric Flair vs. Scott Hall (w/Syxx)
Tooth pick throws pisses Flair off who unloads with punches and chops; he targets the knees right off the bat kicking down to his size. Syxx gets knocked off the apron and Flair is all over Hall, Hall bumping for him is great. The Flair corner bump leads to him jumping Syxx on the floor. Hall jumps him and begins to take over; he rolls Flair in and puts the boots to him. Hall distracts the referee and Syxx runs in and hits a Bronco Buster on a downed Flair. Hall murders Flair with the Fallaway Slam dropping Flair on his hip and arm. He continues to dominate, using Syxx’s help whenever possible. Flair hulks up while Hall's trying to finish him off and Flair reverses out into some chops and locks in a Sleeper Hold. Hall reverses it and clotheslines him. He gives Hall a running chop and follows up with an inverted atomic drop. Syxx takes a forearm off the apron. Syxx climbs up top, but gets caught by Flair. He grabs Hall and whips him into Syxx to send him crashing to the floor. Now Syxx tries to attack Flair with a title belt but Flair fights him off only, for Hall to nail Flair with the belt for the DQ. Post-Match; the 2-on-1 beatdown continues until Mongo and Jeff Jarrett run down for the save. Super fun short match. **3/4

Bobby and Tony are wrapping up the show when, "Macho Man" Randy Savage comes out and drags "Mean Gene" to the ring. “Mean Gene” is begging not to but Savage has those crazy eyes and he has something to say. Savage tells him not to talk to Liz and not to look at anyone but him or he’ll knock him out right now :mark: Savage being a Savage is AMAZING! He continues to threaten Gene. Gene brings up Page, so Savage says he’s gonna turn the page. He’s the greatest wrestler – past, present, and future. Gene says that somebody needs to bring him back down to earth. That was the WRONG thing to say, Gene. Savage grabs him and challenges him to FIGHT! But wait, J.J is here and Gene runs away, he says he never wants to see Savage put his hands on anyone that is not a wrestler ever again. J.J says he's lost all respect, professional and personal, for Savage since he always held Savage in a higher regard than the rest of the nWo, even after he joined them. JJ feels that Savage at one time would have handled this situation with Diamond Dallas Page face to face like a man, but now Savage is addressing his problems from the upper decks of coliseums all over America hiding behind Elizabeth. OH SHIT! Savage snaps and begins assaulting him, security people and Eric Bischoff head down to try and stop Randy Savage. Bischoff pulls Savage off and flips out at him, telling him "No, not like this" Dillon is busted open. Bischoff gets on the mic, and with a change of heart, says that Dillon started this and unleashed the Madness in Randy Savage. Then he tells DDP to "snap into this" and grabs his crotch as the show ends. DAT ENDING JESUS! :mark:

I only say that because Stevie is trash, and WCW only have like 2 actual teams Steiner's and Heat and I've seen them wrestle already.

World Champion: Hollywood Hogan
United States Champion: Dean Malenko
World Tag Team Champions: The Outsiders
World Television Champion: Steven Regal
Cruiserweight Champion: Syxx
Women’s Champion: Akira Hokuto

Nitro opens of with a Rodman/Hogan, Bash at the Beach hype video which is one month away.

Tony says Hollywood Hogan is here, Lex Luger is here, and tonight’s main event is the Outsiders against Roddy Piper and Ric Flair. Wait, WHAT! Isn’t that part of your double main event on the PPV this coming Sunday?!

To the back, we see Elizabeth getting out of a limo. Before Randy Savage can step out, Diamond Dallas Pages comes charging over,he kicks the fuckin’ window in :mark: Liz slams the door on his ribs, allowing Liz and Savage to drive away.

Ultimo Dragon, Super Calo, & Juventud Guerrera vs. Psychosis, La Parka, & Silver King
This is Lucha Libre Rules, so this should be fun. I’ll try to keep up. Psychosis/Dragon start at Tenay tells us these two are facing at the PPV this Sunday. They go like 30 seconds it was a mess, as Calo and Parka happen it rules. Calo does the senton bomb to the floor as Sliver and Juvi flip around for bit. Dragon says fuck this flip shit and kicks the shit out of Psychosis before tagging in Juvi, Parka and Calo do stuff as Psychosis leg drops for two. Parka almost kills himself with a missed legdrop. FUCK IT! I can’t keep up, look the match ends when Dragon hits the top rope ‘rana and locks in the Dragon Sleeper for the win in Psychosis. This is the usual Lucha stuff, flips dives spots and murder. IDK why Dragon still has to face Psychosis at the PPV now, because he just beat him clean. POST-MATCH: LA PARKA SNAPS AND BEATS THE SHIT OUT OF CALO WITH A WOODEN CHAIR :lmao

“Mean Gene” Okerlund brings out Lex Luger; he asks him about his thoughts on the Hogan/Rodman challenge. Lex says he’s trying to make it easy for them, he’s signed his name and the Giants name to face them at Bash at the Beach. He then says before he forgets, Lex says seeing how Hogan hasn’t defended his title in 30 days. J.J. has made the match, Lex Luger vs. Hogan TONIGHT!

Earlier today; Mike Tenay is stalkin’ backstage and he interviews Piper and Flair about the match tonight. Piper says some shit and they gonna end them, Flair says they will be walking out with the titles.

Chris Jericho vs. Alex Wright
Alex Wright’s dance moves are still on fleek; and white mean Canadian bacon babyface Jericho is back. Oh goodie. Tenay makes mention of Jericho’s recent involvement in the Best of the Super Juniors round robin tournament over in New Japan. That’s why he hasn’t been on Nitro in months. Wright gets the better early with power, but when he taunts that allows Jericho to make a brief comeback hitting the springboard dropick. Wright comes back with a shoulder to the mid-section before pounding away on Jericho in the corner. More epic dance moves, leads to a suplex with a bridge but he breaks up his own pin count to point to his brain LOLWHAT! :lmao he continues to beat on Jericho for a good portion of the match he further kills the match with a side headlock, not once but twice. At least he showed good heel antics, by using the ropes for leverage. Nevermind, he just broke the hold for no reason. JESUS! More rest holds before Jericho makes a comeback, Jericho gets out of an irish whip by jumping backwards off the middle rope and hitting a dropkick to Wright. Jericho gets his second wind with a Tiger Bomb followed by a tree of woe. Tenay mentions Jericho has jet lag because he's 48 hours. Jericho hits a baseball slide in the tree of woe position, Wright begs off but Jericho is having none of it. Jericho comes back with a Cross Body, Wright flips it over when they land, uses the ropes for leverage and gets the cheap win. Match got quite a bit of time which is great, but Alex is awful. **3/4

Malia Hosaka vs. Akira Hokuto (w/Sonny Oono)
Sonny back to taking selfies with talent, what a guy. As for the match it was short and to the point. Basically a champ exhibition. NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB! For the win.

“Mean Gene” Okerlund introduces the Steiner brothers (Who are wearing the gayest attire and sliver color I’ve ever seen, I’m not sure if their wrestlers or hookers); Steiner’s address that they are still the rightful champs, they've taken down everyone, and want their titles back come Bash at the Beach. Harlem Heat interrupts and have the same claims that the Steiner’s do. Scott just tells them to shut the hell up and says let's do it tonight and the two teams start brawling as refs and officials pull them apart.

During Mongo's entrance, Kevin Greene ambushes Mongo and they brawl. Mongo drops Greene throat first across the railing but Greene basically no sells it and they brawl all over the place as security and agents break it up. AGAIN!

SIU6dKI.gif

it's a shame Debra didn't go Jaw first into the rails

Meanwhile, Konnan is lying face down in the ring next to a broken broomstick.

“Hollywood Hogan and Eric Bischoff come down to the ring and get on the mic; Bischoff says there ain’t no way Hollywood Hogan is putting the title up for grabs unless he wants to. Hogan tells Lex that he needs to start working out before he can step in the ring with him. He doesn’t want to bore the nWo-ites by just beating up and outclassing a loser like Lex. Hogan begins posing for the crowd when Lex heads down to the ring only to be insulted some more by Hogan and Bischoff. Hollywood calls Lex a “Hollywood wannabe”. Eventually, Luger has enough and pie-faces Bischoff to the mat to start up the match.

Lex Luger vs. Hollywood Hogan (w/Eric Bischoff)
JESUS! This must have been during the Hart Foundation/Austin feud ‘cause WCW is throwing everything out tonight. Lex nails Hollywood with the Bionic Forearm to send him rolling out to the floor. Out comes the nWo Wolfpac to help boost Hogan’s confidence. Back inside, Hogan hits the running clothesline and resorts to choking. Turnbuckle smashes pump up Luger, and he decks Hogan with a running clothesline of his own. Commercials! They make the second hour switch during the break. When we return, Hogan delivers the corner clothesline and drops Luger with a back suplex for two. There’s a slam, but the elbow drop misses. Luger slams Hogan and the nWo try and jump Luger. He handles them all one at a time and hoists Hogan up in the TORTURE RACK for the win. Post-Match: Syxx, Nash & Hall destroy Luger, while Hogan disposes of the referee and he beats the shit out of Luger with repeated Leg Drops. The crowd screams for Sting, as Lex is stretchered out RIP!

“Mean Gene” Okerlund and JJ Dillon are in the ring; J.J. recommended Savage be fined $50k for his action. They considered suspending him, but felt that would be playing right into his hands since he can’t seem to figure out how to deal with Diamond Dallas Page. No longer will DDP-Savage II be sanctioned by WCW, it will now be a “lights out” match where anything goes and falls count anywhere. Savage & Liz are back; Savage says he’s got $100 grand set aside for what he did last week to JJ Dillon and what he’s about to do to JJ Dillon this week. HA! HA! Savage makes his way thru the crowd but before he gets to the ring, DDP runs out. Page says to hell with GAB, now's the time, here's the place, let's do it. Savage gets heated and agrees and he heads down towards the ring. Savage finally gets thru the crowd and dives over the railing and the FIGHT IS ON :mark: They brawl all around the floor for about 30 seconds before they hit commercial.

Lee Marshall throws shots again; they suck so bad that Heenan doesn’t even respond.

WCW US Championship: Dean Malenko vs. Jeff Jarrett
After some solid mat wrestling, Debra comes out the tunnel to support her man fellow Horseman. Jarrett puts the boots to Malenko as we take a commercial break; HOLY SHIT MATCHES ARE EVEN GOIN’ INTO COMMERCIALS NOW! They’re really trying to murder Raw tonight. I must look up what happen on Raw, when I finish this. Duelling Sleeper Holds wear both men down; Jarrett ends that with a back suplex and follows up with a DDT for two. A suplex by Malenko scores a nearfall; Malenko gets the advantage on the outside after a baseball slide to Jarrett. Back inside, Malenko gets a three-quarters single leg crab modified into a surfboard, fucking awesome. He reverses that into a modified ankle lock to stop the figure four later and weaken him for the Texas Cloverleaf, Jarrett counters an inside cradle for two. Jarrett goes on the offense with a swinging neckbreaker for two. He misses a corner charge, but blocks a flying double sledge from Malenko. Jarrett ups the ante with a top rope superplex. OH SHIT! EDDIE GUERRERO IN HIS ARM SLING JUMPS THE RAILS! He hasn’t been on Nitro in nearly two months now! While Debra has the ref’s attention, Eddie takes his arm out of the sling and drills Malenko with a FROG SPLASH! Then he lays the sling on top of Malenko and heads to the back :mark: Debra tries to pours water on Jeff's face to revive him, but he stops it and throws the cup into the crowd :lmao anyway, Jarrett gets up and locks the Figure Four on Malenko. Malenko is dead centre in the ring and is too weak to flip it over and TAPS OUT! Jarrett & Debra celebrate with the US Title. Dean sees the sling from Eddie left on the mat and looks at it, putting two and two together. Way better match than that shitfest at the last PPV. ***1/4

“Mean Gene” Okerlund is standing by with Jimmy Hart; Hart says he's beaten the Barbarian, but he needs to get thru Meng again, but tonight, in order to get to Kevin Sullivan...he needs to go through...KEVIN SULLIVAN? wut. Sullivan sucks up to his hometown Boston crowd and calls Benoit out. Before Benoit shows up, Sullivan tells Meng and Jacqueline not to touch him. Here comes Benoit and he trades blows with Sullivan. The Faces of Fear and Jacqueline try and contain their composure, but eventually they help Sullivan beat the crap out of Benoit before we go to a commercial break.

Roddy Piper & Ric Flair vs. The Outsiders (w/Syxx)
Big brawl to start; until Hall and Nash overpower them and turn this into a real match. Flair & Piper keep coming back for more, getting a slight advantage until Nash & Hall take them down again. Referee regains order and Piper is being double teamed by Nash & Hall. Piper escapes a JackKnife with a low blow behind the ref's back. Hall sneaks in and locks a sleeper on Piper and Piper gets another sneaky low blow. Syxx and Flair brawl on the outside and Syxx tricks him to get into the ring. Nash & Hall are back up and all 3 kill Piper & Flair for the DQ.

Post-Match: The Horsemen to even the odds. Here comes Buff Bagwell and Scott Norton to aid the nWo Wolfpac. Kevin Greene comes in, but he just wants a piece of Mongo. They wind up brawling into the aisle. The Steiner's and Harlem Heat start fighting all around the announce position. Even Glacier, Mortis, and Wrath are fighting :lmao Now even the luchadores have come out! Kevin Sullivan and the Faces of Fear even join in on the action to beat on Benoit. Randy Savage heads down to take part in the beatdown on Flair and Piper, but Page comes out to get a piece of him. T he nWo try and stop him, but he still manages to drop Savage with the Pancake. Just as DDP starts to get up, Hollywood Hogan appears out of nowhere and smashes DDP in the back of the head with the WCW world title belt. Down goes Flair as well. DDP rolls to the floor and the next thing you know, Sting descends from the rafters! He lands right where DDP is lying. He points the bat at the nWo crew and beats anybody who comes near him; He hooks up DDP and they both ascend up into the rafters! HOW IS THAT EVEN SAFE? Anyway, Flair and Piper try and beat up the Outsiders some more while Hogan points a finger and yells up at Sting as Nitro goes off the air.

Nitro is Brawl; Nah just a good ol’ fun show best go home show in WCW history? Now time to see what happen on raw. NOTHING happen on raw, it was just Vince and Austin having a promo announcing the Canadian Stampede match; Bulldogg/Goldust happen, Sid/Owen and Mankind/Philman. I guess it was just a good booked show.

Tony Schiavone, Bobby Heenan, and Dusty Rhodes welcome us to the PPV; and give us a quick rundown of the card.

Ultimo Dragon vs. Psychosis (w/Sonny Oono)
Good feeling out process to start which is won by Dragon. So Psychosis stalls long enough before spitting on him. Psychosis goes into full dick move taunting the crowd and refusing to flip around. Corner handstand back kick by Dragon is followed by the combo kicks forcing Psychosis to catch his breath again, he slowly gets back into the ring but Dragon isn’t having any of it as he kills him with the tilt-a-whirl crucifix back breaker, but then telegraphs a backdrop and Psychosis takes control. As Psychosis lands on the apron after a backdrop, Dragon snaps his neck off the top rope and tries a pescado, but misses. That leads to Sonny Oono getting in his kicks. Dragon tries to roll in but Psychosis baseball slide dropkicks him to the floor. He then follows up by dangling Dragon in between the ropes and hitting the legdrop off the top. La Magistral cradle for two, as Psychosis follows up with a backbreaker with his foot on the ropes for two. Psychosis throws Dragon to the floor again, but this time Sonny’s kicks have no effects and picks up Oono in a suplex! Before Oono hits the floor, Psychosis saves his man with a double sledge to Dragon. Back in the ring, Dragon surprises Psychosis with a spin kick and the Handspring Elbow in the corner. Rolls leads to Psychosis getting thrown to the floor allowing Dragon to hit the Asai Moonsault. Back in, the Brainbuster gets two, SPIKE TOMBSTONE GETS ANOTHER TWO!! Psychosis fires back with a flying spinning heel kick to put Dragon on the floor and Psychosis hits this awesome no-hands plancha over the ring post onto Dragon. Dragon somersaults and catches Psychosis in a Hurracanrana, but Psychosis forces him back for a two count. Psychosis tries a moonsault press, but Dragon blocks the attack with a dropkick. DRAGON HURRACANRANA! He wants the Tiger Suplex, but Sonny Oono causes the distraction. Psychosis gives Dragon a missile dropkick to the back of the head. That gets two. Dragon reverses a whip into a Sonny Oono kick from the apron, which staggers Psychosis back into the Dragon Sleeper for the win. Great opener, full of Lucha spots. ***1/4

The Steiner Brothers vs. Harlem Heat (w/Sister Sherri)
I think this is an un-official number one contenders match; but who knows at this point. Thank god the Steiner are now wearing that hideous silver but Harlem didn’t get the memo and are wearing this terrible, terrible gold and red attire it isn’t flattering at all ewwwwwwww! Scott and Stevie start off; it’s alright until Stevie back elbows the shit out of Scott in the corner. He’s not done as he hits this awesome big boot. He tries another but Scotty ducks and the Steiner clean house. Back in, and Rick gets the better and clean house again :lmao Finally, Booker T decides he wants to get him some. He tries a test of strength with Scott which fails so he uses his head and grabs a headlock. Scott tries to break free with a back suplex, but Booker flips out and tries a full nelson. Of course, Scott powers out, but Booker pulls him into a knee to the gut. Scott comes back with a butterfly slam. With the Steiner’s in control, they throw Booker around for a bit. Scott soon tries a dive off the second rope and eats a boot on the way down; SPIN-A-ROONIE! Is followed up with the Harlem Side Kick and a clothesline sends them both to the floor. Scott reverses a whip into the guardrail and takes Booker back inside for two. He tags Rick in and is immediately hit with a Running Knee. The isolate Rick for like a minute or two but after a failed spin kick. Scotty gets the hot tag and runs through everybody, Steinerlines everywhere. Scott catches Booker with the Spinning Belly to Belly Suplex for two. Now the match breaks down again. Scott hits Booker with the FRANKENSTEINER! But Vincent runs down and elbow drops Booker for the REALLY CHEAP AND TERRIBLE DQ. Post-Match: Vincent is stupid and hangs around taunting them; so the Steiner murders him and spit on him. UGH! I was really enjoying that match too, oh well. ***

Hugh Morrus vs. Konnan
This gets 10 minutes and it’s brutal, its two big guys slugging it out which is good booking but no one gives a fuck about them. Way too much shitty submissions. NEXT!

“Mean Gene” Oaklund is pimping out the WCW Hotline; he’s talking about a potential wrestler could be on WCW Nitro tomorrow in Chicago because he’s upset with his company that he’s under contract for. Gene then says he can’t say the name. He then introduces Public Enemy and they talk nonsense for a few minutes, I HATE THIS SHOW.

Glacier vs. Wrath (w/James Vandenberg & Mortis)
Mortis can stay at ringside, but he has to be handcuffed to one of the ringposts so that there is no chance of shenanigans, RIGHT!8D Yeah this match is a bunch of martial arts dick sucking moves. And slow plodding moves. NO!

Title vs. Career for the WCW Woman’s Championship: Madusa vs. Akira Hokuto (w/Sonny Oono)
GOD MOTHERFUCKIN’ DAMMIT! Things just keep getting worse, oh and WCW’s resident cunt expert Lee Marshall is here to add insight about bitches. I still find it hilarious that he doesn’t say shit to Bobby when he’s stilling 2 seats down from him, and Bobby doesn’t even acknowledge him :lmao I’ll tell you what Madusa took a hell of a beating this was worse than the once Cena took at SSlam and I was just enjoying it until she basically no sold a spike piledriver and did a bunch of shit UGH! Anyway after her terrible offense a Northern Lights Bomb by Akira hands Madusa the loss and her “wrestling career” is OVER! Post-Match: “Mean Gene” tries to force her to have an interview as she cries and hobbles up the entrance :lmao what a dick move.

Death Match: Chris Benoit vs. Meng (w/Jimmy Hart)
Benoit is amazing to start the match with a tope suicida onto Meng :mark: he then scared Hart to the back with his murder eyes, he stomps on Meng’s arm before rolling him in and hitting the Diving Headbutt. He quickly tries to end it with the Crippler Crossfce but Meng overpowers out and places him on the top turnbuckle. Benoit isn’t done yet as he he dropicks the knee before locking in the crossface again. But just like last month, rope breaks are legal :lmao Meng kicks Benoit when he’s up, but Benoit is relentless in trying to end this. He tries to suplex Meng to the floor but Meng holds the rope and Benoit crashes on the apron. Meng kicks Benoit when he’s up top into the tree of woe and then kicks him some more. Chop battle is won by Meng, he connects with an Alabama Slam. After some more chops, Meng applies a Dragon sleeper but Benoit fights out. Meng hits a scoop slam and follows up with a frog splash and ref Nick Patrick has to remind Meng there’s no pinfalls. Benoit is up at seven. They brawl to the floor where Meng gets thrown into the rails; He unloads with a Release German Suplex that gets Meng to stay down at the eight count. One more gets the same result. Meng fights back with an inverted atomic drop and drapes Benoit over the top rope. Meng then applies the Tonga Death Grip. After some more brawling with neither man staying down Benoit locks in the Crippler Crossface and holds it for a good while until finally Meng can’t continue. Post-Match: Both men are dead and get stretchered out one after the other ‘cause WCW only have one stretcher. Fun little match, I love the aggression and makes that last one worse than it already was. No more Death matches please. ***

“Mean Gene” Oaklund is on the stage and suddenly a pop, all of a sudden he tells us that Meng has fallen off the stretcher off the ramp :lmao Anyway, more Hotline hype and DEBUT HYPE :mark:

Kevin Greene vs. Steve McMichael (w/Debra)
This is like a cunt hair better than the one Mongo had last month mainly because Greene has been in a ring more than one other time but still not fun to watch at all. It’s all shitty wrestling 101 moves and football tackles, the match ends when Debra distracts the ref while Jeff Jarrett runs down with another Halliburton briefcase even though one is already in the ring in the corner. Anyway, he goes to hit Greene, but Mongo gets pulled into harm’s way, Jarrett just leaves as Greene covers him for the win :lmao TRASH! Oh Heenan was MVP of this as Kevin’s mum is in the front row and after she interfered he starts calling her Dirty Greene and begins making age jokes.

WCW World Tag Team Championships: Ric Flair & Roddy Piper vs. The Outsiders (w/Syxx)
Flair and Hall start; and Flair bumping after the right hand is tremendous and so is his rebuttal. Hall bails and Flair taunts WOOOOOOOOOO! Corner Flair bump and he walks into a big boot my Nash on the apron :lmao Hall gets a two count off that but as he tries to make his comeback Syxx grabs his leg allowing Hall to clothesline him for two. Nash gets tagged in telling Piper to suck it before going to work on Flair. After a corner beating he hits the Snake eyes, but a Jacknife is countered by a low blow. And there’s the HOT TAG TO PIPER! He pokes eyes; he whips Hall into Nash to set up him up for a sleeper. Hall ends up dropping Piper balls-first on the top rope, Nash draws Flair in, but the ref looks like he screws up the spot. Syxx comes in and wipes out Piper with a spin kick. Of course, Flair sees that and goes over to chop the life out of Syxx. Flair chases him all the way to the back leaving the match 2-1 Piper fights back as best as he can until Hall connects with the Outsiders Edge for the win. Man this was fun as fuck, they just went at it. No filler BS but I guess it was also a way to begin a Piper/Flair feud for no reason. **3/4

Falls Count Anywhere Match: Randy Savage (w/Miss Elizabeth) vs. Diamond Dallas Page (w/Kimberly Page)
Page has Kimberly fake him out on the entrance and Page comes through the crowd and jumps him, 20 seconds in and he attempts the cutter which sends Savage to the floor. Page hits a plancha but as soon as he gets up his bandaged ribs send him crashing to the floor in pain. They brawl around ring-side for a bit until Page connects with a clothesline in the ring. He heads up top and hits another clothesline. Savage is holding on to the ropes but Page pulls him off and throws him to the floor. Savage goes to the eyes and they brawl with the fans around the arena; Page takes a fans crutch and breaks it over Savage’s back, oh that poor fan I hope he bought more than one? After a good 5 minutes they eventually comeback to ring-side where Savage sends Page into the steel steps and then throws powder in his face. He proceeds to breaks plates over his head :lmao And he begins to pull the bandages off the ribs. The ref begins to talk shit to him so Savage piledrivers him HAHAHAHA! Another ref comes out and gets tossed aside by Savage. On the floor, Savage backs Kimberly into the corner of the guardrail, as MVPatrick comes out to save the day. They continue to brawl up the aisle way as Savage gets run into the fence and gets slammed on the picnic table. Pancake Slam connects, but Savage sends Page back on the floor with a jawbreaker. Savage peels back the mats for a piledriver, but Nick Patrick proceeds to stop him and gets nailed. I wonder how much Savage will be getting finned for this, a milly? A RANDOM PHOTOGRAPHER gets beat down too CRAZY SAVAGE IS AMAZING! As this is going on Page grabs a chair and nails Page with it. Inside the ring, Savage low blows Page and goes for a suplex but DDP slips out and hits the DIAMOND CUTTER! For two. Scott Hall runs out and STOMPS Nick Patrick on the head. Well that’ll stop any count. Hall has his tag belt with him and goes to nail Page, but Page ducks and rattles off with punches. Page calls for the Diamond Cutter, but Savage hits Page from behind with the belt. That allows Hall to hit the Outsiders Edge and Savage goes up top for the Elbow drop for the win. Damn good brawl, really hate filled. I didn’t mind the run-ins and ref’s dying. So yeah.***1/2
