again, I love both.... but for me A Nightmare on Elm Street is the horror movie that stands above the rest

American Psycho for me, but I like both movies so I'm fine with either moving on.

Possibly two of my favourite films. Nightmere just edges it, that film really defined 80s horror and Freddy was such a great character.

Same, I usually could watch horror movies and not take them seriously but when I saw this as a kid I had nightmares for a week, lol.

As much as I loved the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, I can't say it is better than American Psycho, that was a dark comedy that actually made me laugh out loud.

Ooh this is hard but I have to go with Nightmare on Elm Street. Captivating film. Draws you in. Very good horror.
