I think the rules need retooled and I think it would help to have input from anyone willing to join or already a member, I've thought since the beginning (4 or 5 feds ago) that we lacked input from members.

A word limit imo isn't a bad idea but I don't think it should be anything small. Make it 4,000 words. I don't think we've seen an inccident where word count is an issue...Yet

As far as not rp'ing Just put a rule in place if you don't rp 3 weeks straight your gone that solves this issue. If someone wants to rejoin after that they have to submit a promo for a show and then rp. The longer they don't rp of course the matches and spot on the card move down.

Again for the most part I think things are going well and most things work. But input to change and grow is always good.

I actually no longer think that any changes are necessary. Maybe just having separate topics for each RP to facilitate "chains" (TT) if anybody wants to do it. Other than that, all the changes I initially suggested seem extraneous to this fed, as what we have is working well.

I would maybe also tighten character standards, i.e. no monsters or gods or demons or whatever, and storyline restrictions, i.e. no rape, incest, murder, necrophilia, cannibalism (yes, I saw these last two on an RP once, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING no less), paedophilia, bestiality, so forth. I know to most of you that's implicit, but there's always that one person, and wouldn't hurt to make it clear in writing.

I'd agree with those. Well perhaps we should revisit some of the your ideas. Now that tensions aren't so high. I know me personally it at the time seemed like you guys came you were all instantly on staff and started trying to make tons of changes. I mean some of them may have been good but again it seemed like a hostile takeover. I think chains are easy enough in the current format but I've also always like being able to make my own RP thread giving it a title. But also this fed is still pretty new and so are a lot of member not only to us but rp'ing as a whole which is why I don't think anyones tried a chain set of rps. Also chain rp's are harder to do with an rp limit imo.

I just think if people have ideas we should have a proper place to express them. Because it's easy to get lost in all the other thread with multiple poster. Also if say Andy (just an example) has an idea that staff hates but say half the fed loves I think that would make a difference (not saying thats the case just an example)

Roleplayers should be a lot to post in threads that are not their matches if both roleplays have been posted. This can help build the roleplayers skills. I also think that staff should leave a post within the topic giving at least some sort of explanation as to why this person lost/won. That, or we can make things simple and just go with seperate threads. I thinkt the thought of it is overwhelming for some of the staff.

I don't know if we need a reason for win loss but feedback in some form would be nice we had the feedback thread which worked horribly. So I'd agree everyone needs to start leaving feedback for everyone else.

If there's a word limit, there's a strong chance I may just make graphics for the fed and not be a part of it. I write my RP's right on the forum, and I'm not about to open word and make sure it's under a specific amount of words. Sometimes I write 5k RP's, sometimes I write 1k.. It really should not matter how many words are in an RP.

Suggestions:

Character Development and Locker Room Forum - For CD roleplays and for the e-wrestlers to have a locker room. Reason, for furthering, building, and creating storylines.
A interview show. - This makes people get to know the e-wrestlers better, and it would help minus out negativity. Something like a three part thing, where in the first it's just questions about the persons background, second part being things that person wants to do in ACR, and last a game like Word Association.
A better application - The one now is sort of generic, no offense, and I feel it needs more. Entrance description, Personality, Features, Common Moves (10) Submissions (3) Running Strikes/Grapples (3) Opponent Rebounding (2) Turnbuckle Moves (2) Aerial Moves (3) Trademark moves (3) Finisher(s) (2-3)

There needs to be at least two moderators. There's a lot of stuff that needs to be edited, moved, and among other things in e fedding. Three people as creative doesn't cut it, especially when the fed grows.
Make an account on Chris Harts and Aaron's Top E Fed list, and encourage people to vote as much as possible. (Once an hour.)

LOL PWA had a locker room system that helped with organization and kayfabe development. It worked out really well.

Character Development and Locker Room Forum - tried this hear it failed miserably.

As far as your concerns about a word count. Really as long as it's one forum post I don't see an issue but if it's larger then that it's simply too much. But I think the staff is pretty deadset against a word count.

I agree with Pete's comments, those should be the only rule put in really. The rest doesn't bother because I've yet to see a massive RP happen, everyone seems to keep on length which a good thing.

I don't know. I've seen large roleplays broken into multiples scenes which makes it confusing. Simultaneously, with a word count, such a roleplay could be broken into many (i.e. caps would be easier to be reached and could be raised). I just gained access to our old forums too. I'll take some pics of how we set up things to see if you guys would be interested.

As far as wins and losses go... we agreed that if there is a question about it... then PM a member of staff and we'll tell you. That way we don't flood up threads with why since not everybody really cares or wants to know why they won or loss so if they do they can PM and they will be the ones to know.

As far as interviews go... anybody is open to making one. Just don't use somebody else's character but rather use one of the other characters on the show.

The application does need a revamping and hopefully that can be rejuvenated soon.

And again... there has been no need for a word limit here so no need in instituting one. If there is a problem to arise cause of it... it will be addressed. No need in trying to fix something that isn't broken.

So we can't critique each other in the roleplays? That would be so much easier than the current thread.

Would you mind elaborating on that rather than just one simple statement?

I mean if you are talking about giving feedback on someone else's work... feel free to do that... but only AFTER the deadline has passed then you can say whatever you want in the thread. The threads remain open for a reason. But critiquing make it sounds like you know what they should and shouldn't do... when instead just make it suggestions, feedback, or whatever it is. And if that person doesn't take kindly to it then it would be best to not do it again or either change your approach.

I.E. saying it sucks isn't critiquing or feedback. Offer reasons why and ways to change it to fit their character.

Another idea would be to let RPers who HAVE PROVEN THEMSELVES (those who drop every week, and do quality RPs) to have more than two characters if they so desire. Not everyone, mind you, just those who prove capable of handling the volumes.

(Shamelessly self-serving suggestion, but oh well... Might be more people out there wanting to do so...)

Yeah, that was what I was implying^

However, that's also where it gets fuzzy. By not having a general publicized grading system, or at least keeping it under wraps, only the staff know why a roleplayer lost. And you've stated that you will only tell them if they PM you. Then how does another person tell them how to improve? You can't really make suggestions if you don't know what the problem was. The only real suggestions you could make involve storyline/angle.
