United States Champion Jeff Hardy vs. Jinder Mahal
At WWE Greatest Royal Rumble, United States Champion Jeff Hardy will defend his newly won title against the Superstar he dethroned to obtain it, Jinder Mahal.

After his United States Title win at WrestleMania 34, Mahal believed that we were now all living in the U-S-J. He was half-right … except the “J” seemingly stood for Jeff Hardy. When the 2018 Superstar Shake-up shockingly moved Mahal from SmackDown LIVE to Raw, he wasn’t shy in immediately letting Raw General Manager Kurt Angle know how good he believed himself to be. With that in mind, Angle put The Modern Day Maharaja’s skills to the test, having him go one-on-one that same night against Hardy with the United States Title on the line. Ultimately, the champion’s overconfidence proved to be his downfall, and the surging Charismatic Enigma defeated Mahal to take the title.

After the contest, an outraged Mahal invoked his rematch clause for WWE Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27. Will Jeff Hardy continue his upward momentum and retain his newly won United States Championship? Or, will The Modern Day Maharaja rebound and reassume his quest to have the WWE Universe become one nation under Jinder?

Find out at the Greatest Royal Rumble event, Friday, April 27 at 7 p.m. AST. The event streams live on the award-winning WWE Network with a tune-in time of 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, and with a special, one-hour Greatest Royal Rumble Kickoff starting at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. Kickoff will also be available with a free stream on WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest. It will be available on pay-per-view outside of the Middle East with regional broadcast information forthcoming.

Anyone saying Jinder gets the belt back there is just being racist.

Wrong brown people.

Does anyone really think Saudi Arabia is a part of India?

People are stupid. People blamed basically everyone on that side of the world for 9/11.

I meant because Jinder and WWE have never stopped referencing India, so you'd have to be so stupid and/or racist if you thought Saudi Arabia and India were the same country.

I agree though it probably has happened somewhere because people are stupid. Sad but true.

I don't think any of the racists think Saudi is the same country as India, they would just assume all brown people like all brown people because they cheer for every white guy against any other kind of minority. This just coming from living in the rural south all my life.

Just to go to the reverse for a minute, it'll be interesting to see what reaction Jinder has in Saudi.

Isolated religious extremism will do that, seem to be the biggest wrestling fans as well for the most part.

So I’m assuming Orton still gets the winner at Backlash?

You'd think so, but there's been times when a championship match became non-title when the champion lost the title before the scheduled match. Considering it's Orton's guaranteed rematch, I think he has a strong case for it. Wait, Jinder lost the title to Jeff Hardy...

I just looked and the Backlash match listing is gone now from WWE.com. So maybe it'll become Hardy, Mahal and Orton triple threat? You know WWE hasn't done enough of those. :MJ:
