Best and Worse PPV names?

Is it just me or is "Great Balls of Fire" one of the worse names for a wrestling PPV? It has nothing to do with wrestling and sounds more like a cheesy sitcom or film.

So it got me thinking about the best and worse names for shows. Am thinking mostly about the B/C-shows. And can include any from WWF/E, WCW, TNA, ROH etc...

Two from WCW I like is Halloween Havoc and World War 3. They both sum up the themes of the event. WW3 is a cool ironic title because of there being no real WW3 (at least not so far...). Havoc is just a cool, simple but effective name. Spring Stampede was another cool name. Like the seasonal feel to their PPV names.

From WWF/E I like Fully Loaded and No Way Out as names. NWO was even cooler when they added the Elimination Chambers to the shows.

"The Bash" is terrible, I hated "Capitol Punishment" and "Over the Limit" and I really dislike them shoe horning in "Fastlane" so they can incorporate it into their Road to WrestleMania theme.

Fatal 4 Way from a couple years ago was really bad. I'm also not a fan of naming PPVs after the match concept like HITC, MITB, Elimination Chamber, etc.

I liked Backlash and Judgement Day growing up. Starrcade was always cool. Bad Blood was another one

Also what's a Great American Bash? That like a fight around the grill of a party?

Do you mean The Great American Bash? Or Bash at the Beach? If its the former I have to disagree or its the later I think you have a point. Though Bash at the Beach is probably a better name than Beach Blast! The rest of your choices I agree with. Was thinking of Fastline myself.

Do you mean The Great American Bash? Or Bash at the Beach? If its the former I have to disagree or its the later I think you have a point. Though Bash at the Beach is probably a better name than Beach Blast! The rest of your choices I agree with. Was thinking of Fastline myself.
