TNA Has No Money to Broadcast Sunday’s Bound for Glory Event
TNA heads to Orlando this Sunday for their Bound for Glory event, however there appears to be a problem. They don’t actually have the funds to put on the show, nor do they have the funds for future tapings.

Apparently, WWE is back in the bidding war for the company, which isn’t a good sign and could be an indication that the company is done. While Billy Corgan mentioned to ESPN that he would like to buy the company, a deal like that can’t be put together in time before the Bound for Glory event on Sunday. A complete transfer of ownership in the company could take weeks. TNA needs the funds, and they need them before Friday to do the pay-per-view event.

It should be interesting to see what happens with the company in the next couple of days as we get closer to the event.

If this is true, I have to say it's time. At one point in time I was the biggest TNA mark on this planet, but they've blow through their last chance. I honestly don't want to see Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins buy it. Let WWE have it for the video library and to add their programming to the WWE Network. If we're lucky WWE will pick up a few talent contracts for their brand extension.

According to Meltzer....nah I lie, he's a hack.

According to Forbes, WWE did put a bid on TNA.

I did hear about this a little while back. Hopefully, WWE swings back through and puts TNA out of its misery.

Corgan would be an idiot if he used his own money to save a company with this much stench of failure on it.

Even with a consortium group it's a terrible investment.

TNA has been hemorrhaging money for years. Who would sink their hard earned money in to buy a company that will lose them money? It would be a poor investment for anyone Corgan is looking to go in on it with and it would be incredibly unwise for Corgan himself. Unless he thinks he has some magical business plan all typed up and ready to go to make the company profitable in a few years. I don't see it.

How much did Vince offer $9.99?

maybe they should start a, go found me.
It wouldn't surprise me. The price he paid for WCW was a steal. I certainly wouldn't pay more for TNA.

If Corgan is looking to get into a wrestling promotion, would be better off waiting for TNA to die and scoop up the guys WWE didn't take.

Problem is, you have to take alot of losses before you can make a profit in pro wrestling......shits not a sprint, it's a marathon.

Vince had an inside guy to help get them that cheap.

Pride FC was in deeper financial peril than WCW, and it cost the UFC 70 mil to get their rights.

Never got a tv deal and now he looks like an idiot.....again.

Probably shouldn't have had a show in an empty baseball field.

Whatever happen to Jeff's company?
I don't think it ever got off the ground. They had one set of tapings for the Amped television show in 2015 and they've done like three cross promoted live events since. GFW is DOA.

Didn't Corgan run a company called Revolution Pro? Is that still around?

Ouch. I wouldn't pay $70 million for TNA, though. I don't know what WWE is willing to, but I'd offer 15 max.

Almost had a deal with AMC and then the network stopped producing new content to focus on their original programming.

Then he had a falling out with the promoter according to him on podcasts.
