still looks dramatically overblown compared to the MCU stuff, & Wonder Woman seems like an afterthought.

I do want this to be good, honestly. I just don't see anything that makes me believe it's gonna be a huge improvement over Man Of Steel. Entertaining enough, but no where near what Marvel are doing.

The scene where Bruce Wayne runs into the cloud and then holds the child looks corny as hell, the music better be spot on for that one or it's going to be a laugher. The rest of it does seem terribly forced, which isn't a good sign considering that's a major problem I had with Man of Steel. Still not holding out much hope for this.

Not sure what's forced. It's literally two superheroes beating the shit out of each other. You probably don't like the darker tone compared to the MCU's comedic tone.

Quite the contrary actually, considering my favourite MCU film is Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which also happens to be its darkest. The entire movie looks like it's going to be a forced epic instead of coming across organically like many of the MCU films have in the past. Trying too hard to make something great will almost always doom you to failure, which has basically summed up Zack Snyder's entire career to this point.

Idk Age of Ultron seemed pretty forced to me with a joke being thrown in every other line. When you have two characters like Batman and Superman, there's no organicness. Batman is a brooding asshole and Superman is an alien looking for acceptance. Of course Snyder is gonna throw those two at each other in a forced way because that's what the battle is about.

Well in a little update, post-production has wrapped which means the movie is ready for release. I'm getting hyped.

Heres some pics.

My thoughts are that I can't wait for it to come out so I can shit all over it.

Of course there's always that 0.001% chance that it'll be good, but it's Zack Snyder so I just can't see it being anything other than a hot mess. Would be glad to be wrong of course but it's not like his track record should inspire any sort of confidence.

Wasn't bad but it wasn't the comic book either, although I suppose you can chalk that up to Alan Moore making sure his work was unfilmable. The rest of Snyder's movies blow though, so again, the odds aren't in his favour.

Yeah, I thought it was ass but whatever, to each their own. Like I said, I'll be happy if this movie is good but I'm not holding my breath. Who knows, maybe I'll be wrong, it'll rock and I'll be the first person to admit it here if that's the case.

As far as zack Snyder goes, all his movies besides sucker punch got mixed reviews so I guess to each their own when it comes to him.

I am holding my breath that this will be a decent film. I also want Affleck to show he doesnt suck and make everyone mad he did well.
