    Nope.

No one will remember the son of Dusty, brother of Goldust, member of Legacy so he is forever tied to Orton, and one of the longest reigning IC champs?
    Nope.

I don't like Cara but Mistico will go in the HOF sadly for his outside success and the fact he will be pushed because Rey is on borrowed time now
You assume Sin Cara is going to go into the HOF because he was big in Mexico? Since when does Vince McMahon give a shit about Mexico's promotions? Since when did he give a shit about any promotions outside the US? Never. He would sooner induct David Arquette than he ever would a wrestler that was famous in a foreign country's promotion.

Edge, Shawn, and Bret were over jobbers just like all the Attitude era ones were and more talented than those guys I have listed who spent years on the main roster or FCW and still ain't put it together so 2 + 2 = 4. The guys on that second list could not get a pig to give two squirts of shit about them.
So you think it's all the wrestlers' faults they aren't over and it has absolutely nothing to do with how WWE's creative team books them?

    Wow.
Rock didn't stop them from getting on ppv. They would have been dark match battle royale material anyhow and you know it, so they have no right to complain about being left off because of him. They should be pissed at themselves for not stepping up and getting noticed or having the balls to leave if they feel unappreciated
That's ridiculous because just having Rock THERE at the ppv changes the entire landscape of it. It affects every other match on the card because that's the match they've been ready to bank on for over a year. It's the match the biggest wrestler (Cena) is booked for. If Cena isn't wrestling Rock, he's wrestling Punk. Simple as that. And Jericho is putting over another wrestler on the roster that needs it. It's a domino effect.

The only other match on the card that would be the same regardless would be Taker v. Trips.

A few years ago this match would have been really special, I just don't see it that way anymore. Rock is NOT coming back full time, so the outcome of the match really doesn't mean anything. He's moved on with his life and he's only doing this match to promote his bullshit in Los Angeles. Smart move or not, I don't really give a rat's ass because I will still be interested in what happens in the WWE AFTER WRESTLEMANIA 28. The Rock won't be.

Just having a match for the sake of it, to say "it happened" is not great storytelling.

Ok, let's go way and say Rock is off the card and Punk/Cena happens (both guys were already on the card) Taker/HHH (both guys were already on the card) Bryan/Sheamus (both guys were already on the card) and Jericho would face Orton being he was the one who wrote him off of TV (both guys were already on the card)

Sure the matchups are slightly different, but it hasn't opened up a spot for someone to get on the card who already wasn't.

Would Jericho even be back if punk wasn't free to face him? Would Austin have took rocks place as the attraction fresh off Tough Enough? Too many variables

I'm sure Jericho would have been down for picking up his rivalry with Randy Orton and having a feud with him leading through Mania, don't you?

I guess, but he didn't even really mention Orton after he left. He was ranting on twitter about Punk and him stealing from him since this summer. I think Punk being free made it a lock, whereas Randy made it about 70/30 because realistically Jericho could have a great match but not a great feud with Randy because he lacks mic skills

Randy doesn't lack mic skills, he just doesn't talk. God knows why. WWE seems to silence their babyfaces.

Regardless of how many variables there are, it's still a disappointment to other wrestlers in that locker room. The Cena/Rock match is going to eat a TON of time on the ppv. Even if some of those lower-tier wrestlers just had a battle royal or something, it's still better than nothing.

If you could give me one positive that would come out of this match besides money in Vince's pockets which shouldn't be a concern to anyone but Vince, it wouldn't bother me. But we all know the following Monday on Raw, Cena will probably boast once about his victory in a vintage Cena super-excited opening promo, and that will be it. He'll move on to something else immediately after and the match will not affect anything or anyone.

Numerous WWE workers were giddy backstage over John Cena's pseudo-shoot tirade toward Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson on Monday's Raw SuperShow since many share similar real-life sentiments. Those disgruntled are upset with Johnson being prominently featured at WrestleMania XXVIII since he is not a full-time performer and is taking away a prime spot that could be used to elevate an up-and-comer.

Based on claims of Johnson having "heat" within WWE circles, a Twitter user asked the actor/wrestler, "Haters claim you're keeping them from wrestling at 'Mania and they can't get over. Why couldn't they get over when you were gone?"

Johnson, who is well aware of his critics backstage, responded Wednesday night, "The ones who are complaining are the ones who will never get over anyway, Too busy complaining."
He just put his boot to their asses

PWInsider.com is reporting that the USA Network is planning to run a John Cena vs The Rock special, which will air prior to WWE Raw on 3/26. The show feature a behind-the-scenes look at the rivalry between the two heading into their match at WrestleMania 28, and is set to air at 8pm EST.

USA plans to re-air the special on 3/31.
That sounds good, I'd watch it.

THE BEAST. THE FREAK. THE ANOMALY.

You mean all the footage from the last year that wasted hours of TV time is getting it's own special? If it wasn't actual promos from them I seriously fast forwarded everything from the last year. I won't be watching.
    We Are Legion likes this.
As a friend and a concerned citizen, I can't let you do that in public.
