Nope.
Nope.No one will remember the son of Dusty, brother of Goldust, member of Legacy so he is forever tied to Orton, and one of the longest reigning IC champs?
You assume Sin Cara is going to go into the HOF because he was big in Mexico? Since when does Vince McMahon give a shit about Mexico's promotions? Since when did he give a shit about any promotions outside the US? Never. He would sooner induct David Arquette than he ever would a wrestler that was famous in a foreign country's promotion.I don't like Cara but Mistico will go in the HOF sadly for his outside success and the fact he will be pushed because Rey is on borrowed time now
So you think it's all the wrestlers' faults they aren't over and it has absolutely nothing to do with how WWE's creative team books them?Edge, Shawn, and Bret were over jobbers just like all the Attitude era ones were and more talented than those guys I have listed who spent years on the main roster or FCW and still ain't put it together so 2 + 2 = 4. The guys on that second list could not get a pig to give two squirts of shit about them.
Wow.
That's ridiculous because just having Rock THERE at the ppv changes the entire landscape of it. It affects every other match on the card because that's the match they've been ready to bank on for over a year. It's the match the biggest wrestler (Cena) is booked for. If Cena isn't wrestling Rock, he's wrestling Punk. Simple as that. And Jericho is putting over another wrestler on the roster that needs it. It's a domino effect.Rock didn't stop them from getting on ppv. They would have been dark match battle royale material anyhow and you know it, so they have no right to complain about being left off because of him. They should be pissed at themselves for not stepping up and getting noticed or having the balls to leave if they feel unappreciated
The only other match on the card that would be the same regardless would be Taker v. Trips.
A few years ago this match would have been really special, I just don't see it that way anymore. Rock is NOT coming back full time, so the outcome of the match really doesn't mean anything. He's moved on with his life and he's only doing this match to promote his bullshit in Los Angeles. Smart move or not, I don't really give a rat's ass because I will still be interested in what happens in the WWE AFTER WRESTLEMANIA 28. The Rock won't be.
Just having a match for the sake of it, to say "it happened" is not great storytelling.
