TNA2 Several Injuries Coming Out of UK Impact Tapings

    Source: The Wrestling Observer

Several TNA stars were reportedly injured during TNA's recent overseas tour, which saw this week's edition of Impact Wrestling taped in London.

-Mark Haskins was said to have suffered a concussion following a botched Shooting Star Press during his match against Austin Aries. The botch was said to be similar to when Brock Lesnar botched the same move at WrestleMania.

Haskins was rushed to the hospital, and later returned for a post-taping party. Haskins was said to have been showing concussion-like symptoms such as dilated pupils. He was pulled from the second set of tapings due to the injury.

-James Storm reportedly suffered a dislocated elbow during the tapings, which later had to be reset.

-Crimson suffered what appeared to be some sort of knee injury during his bout at the tapings.

No word on how severe any of the above injuries are, and as of this writing it has not been reported that any of the injured superstars will miss any ring time.
I'm doubting any of them are severe to keep them out for quite some time but this is funny. Fail TNA.

THE BEAST. THE FREAK. THE ANOMALY.
    IS BACK.

I thought Haskins broke his neck or something after that shooting star. Do you think those two matches for Storm too much which may have caused the injury?

Not sure how this is fail TNA. Injuries happen in all companies and it is always unfortunate when someone hurts themself. With Storm that would be really painful getting your elbow reset and I am surprised he won't miss any time because of the injury.

TNA seem to have a lot more injuries in the air maybe its time they calmed things down with the moves they do because once these guys start going on the road more often there gonna get hurt more and more.

The SSP is always a dangerous move and I don't think it is even his finishing move so he probably shouldn't use it. Unless he can hit it time and time again like an Evan Bourne then he shouldn't use it. I can't see him using the move for a bit until he gets his confidence back with it and until TNA get their confidence back with him.

I'm not sure if TNA is the same, but I'm almost 98% sure that when you want to use the SSP in the WWE you need permission. First they need to, as Troy said hit it time and time again, to avoid any and all injuries. Specially considering that move can go wrong with one wrong turn, or not jumping enough, or even doubting yourself at the last minute. Plus I seriously doubt any of us could do a SSP so, Smarks fail? No.. Just common sense. People get hurt doing "amazing" things.

As for Storm, I gotta give it the guy, I mean your elbow is the center of all your motion in your arm and to get it reset is nuts. I've only had to reset my nose and that was painful, I can't imagine what the elbow would be like.
